About us
Who we are
People are powerful, especially when we come together.
The Climate Coalition brings people together to demand action for people, climate and nature. Over 20 years, we’ve grown into the UK’s biggest group of organisations and communities protecting what we love from the impacts of climate change and nature loss.
Together, we've made big changes—from helping secure the UK’s legal promise to reach net zero and inspiring hundreds of thousands through campaigns like Show the Love and Great Big Green Week.
By uniting voices, we've proven that people power works. And we're not stopping. We’ll keep pushing leaders to act, making sure climate and nature stay a top priority for healthier, fairer future for everyone.
Our culture and values
By 2030, we want the UK to be a global leader in tackling climate change and restoring nature, backing the incredible efforts that people and communities across the country are already making.
To make this happen, we're working towards four big goals:
- A powerful public voice for climate and nature – so strong that it can’t be ignored.
-
Cross-party support for climate action – so progress continues, no matter who’s in government.
-
Bold policies that match the urgency of what we’re facing – with the government setting out a plan that delivers real change.
-
A strong and united movement – so people and organisations working for a greener, fairer future have the support they need for lasting impact.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We believe people have real power when they come together. Collective action can drive big change, and we’re committed to making it happen.
By building a strong, united movement, we amplify the voices of those most affected by climate change and nature loss—especially communities that are often ignored. Everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and included in the fight for a better future. That’s why we focus on working together, sharing knowledge, and creating space for open conversations.
As part of the Global North, we recognise our responsibility to push for fair and just action on climate and nature. This means supporting solutions that are not only effective but also equitable, ensuring no one is left behind.
Above all, we're creating a movement built on care, joy, and resilience.
Change happens when people feel supported and empowered, and together, we can build a fairer, greener world for everyone.
