Hope Health Action is a Christian NGO with the mission of empowering local communities in Haiti, South Sudan and Uganda to provide life-saving health and disability care for the most vulnerable. Essential
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience working in a communications, marketing or digital marketing role.

- Experience of editing websites, using content management systems such as WordPress.
- Creative, with an eye for design and layout.
- A high level of IT competency.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with Aberystwyth University to support the search for a Stewardship Officer to join the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). The DARO Stewardship Officer will focus on building affinity and active support through multichannel communications, fundraising and engagement activities with over 100,000 alumni and supporters around the world.
This role is offered on a permanent, full-time (part-time options available) basis paying a salary of £31,396- £37,099 per annum. This is a flexible hybrid role with support available for travel expectations.
Reporting to the Alumni Engagement Manager and working closely with the DARO team, the DARO Stewardship Officer will be responsible for the annual PROM This includes the annual PROM magazine and regular newsletter updates, social media content creation and dissemination, targeted fundraising appeal activity and stewardship materials for engagement across various donor and volunteer audiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience producing compelling, tailored content to a range of audiences to increase engagement, affinity, or active support. In addition to creating high quality physical and digital assets for communications and engagement purposes. This position will require both English and Welsh written and spoken communication. Experience of working for a university or within the non-profit sector is not essential.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reprieve team as our Head of Mass Engagement covering parental leave.
With the support of the Deputy Director of Development, you will lead our fast‐moving and creative Mass Engagement Team to:
- Power Individual Giving and Public Fundraising across multiple channels.
- Engage our community of supporters (currently about 95,000 people in the UK and 9,000 in the US) to donate and take action for Reprieve
- Inspire others to support Reprieve’s work, running campaigns across our social channels.
Our Mass Engagement work is at a pivotal moment. Reprieve’s income from through regular and individual giving, generated largely by email fundraising, has experienced a drop with many of our supporters understandably reassessing their charitable giving in the face of the economic crisis.
You will oversee the delivery and implementation of Reprieve’s recently launched Mass Engagement strategy. You will be energised to bring your skills, experience and knowledge to implement and deliver these plans, testing opportunities to diversify and grow the programme.
The Mass Engagement team works closely with the wider Development Team and colleagues across the organisation, supporting each other to reach their objectives.
About you
You will have a deep level of skill and expertise in mass fundraising, either through Individual Giving, Digital or Community and Events, with demonstrable experience managing a budget and making decisions about the best use of resources to deliver income targets.
You will be a dynamic leader with management experience and will foster an aspirational and creative environment within your team, while working across departments to ensure our content reflects organisational values, priorities and objectives. You will be able to demonstrate that you can oversee complex work streams and competing priorities, while supporting, inspiring and empowering your team to achieve targets.

The Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) is a London-based charity with a friendly, hardworking team supporting our members in the UK and internationally.

This is a fantastic role working with a small team supporting the planning and delivery of a sector-leading training offer, CILIP Learn. CILIP Learn is an exciting new platform under development for CILIP’s learning and CPD offer to members and the sector.
CILIP prides itself on presenting high quality training events, often in partnership with external training providers. Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. Sessions are currently half-day, online training programmes: making them affordable and flexible to fit in around work commitments, and with the attention to detail to gain valuable skills. All our training events are delivered by experienced trainers, with specialist subject knowledge. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.
- To support successful contract and stakeholder management related to the training partnerships and training contracts.
- To develop and maintain systems and processes which ensure that the development of the CILIP Learn offer is based on data, evidence and market intelligence.
It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector but they will have the right level of knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and bring their transferable skills to the role.
The role is 28 hours per week, ideally worked over 4 days but we are open to discussions around the working pattern for delivery of this role.

About The Role:
The successful candidate will support the Community and Challenge Event Manager to find ways to increase engagement and bring fresh ideas to the team and steward fundraisers. This role will be responsible for maximising the value of fundraisers by helping to develop and deliver their supporter journey with MQ, whilst supporting the wider marketing team with producing content including blogs and social media.
Here's a summary of your key responsibilities:
- To foster and strengthen relationships with community fundraisers and challenge event fundraisers by developing and delivering tailored supporter journeys and stewardship plans.

About You:
This role is for you, if you have 1+ years’ experience in supporting community and events fundraising and track record of achieving financial targets and key objectives.
We need someone with experience of working on challenge events as well as knowledge of marketing and social media management.
You'll need to be organised, creative and proactive.
Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential.

We provide mentoring and peer support groups to people in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and the neighbouring boroughs.

JOB PURPOSE
Working with the Managing Director, you will support delivery of our fundraising and impact strategy, supporting us in identifying funding opportunities, submitting bids and ensuring reporting is completed. You will be responsible for maintaining all our communications channels, including social media, updating our website and creating copy and print materials for our programmes. You will help us to share our impact and tell the stories of the mentor and mentees. You will support us to use our data management system, Beacon, to track both our funding pipeline and commitments, as well as our programme impact data. You will analyse and use our data to tell stories that help us improve our work, expand our reach and increase our access to resources.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Funding
- Set up and manage funds on Beacon, our CRM system, tracking opportunities, applications, outcomes, reporting requirements and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, with specific focus on developing a portfolio of sustainable, multi-year grants, trusts and funds and service delivery contracts, while considering how we can expand individual giving, online fundraising and developing corporate relations.
- Income planning, including identifying, prioritising and scheduling funding opportunities.
- Liaising with programme teams to develop proposals for programme development, and gathering engaging information to demonstrate impact in reports.
- Supporting teams to manage monitoring and evaluation requirements for donor and internal purposes, developing and maintaining monitoring frameworks.
- Preparing and submitting proposals and tenders to donors, trusts and funds and government and local government contractors.
- Preparing and submitting timely donor reports in line with contractual requirements.
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring contract compliance.
Communications
- Attending monthly content planning meetings online
- Planning and developing content provided by Unfold staff and partners
- Sharing planned content for review and sign-off
- Keeping up to date with messages and followers on Unfold’s social media channels

The Senior Communications Officer role:

- Manage the photograph library, and assist if staff require specific photos for publicity. Arrange photographers for events and photo sessions at the Centre. Advise staff on GDPR rules around photography where necessary.

About the Role
There are 1.4 million primary-aged children growing up in poverty in the UK, and we are currently only working with a fraction of them. We have grown rapidly over the last few years and are now looking to grow our Fundraising team to the next level.
The Fundraising and Communications Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team to deliver Learning with Parents’ fundraising strategy.
