We are looking for a Senior Manager – Policy, Government & Evidence Generation. This is a key role for Youth Futures Foundation as a What Works Centre. Reporting to the Head of Public Policy, but working closely with Evaluation and Public Affairs colleagues, this is a unique role, sitting at the intersection of our policy, government relations and evidence generation work. The work of the Public Policy team will focus on the following strategic themes for the organisation:
- Barriers and Discrimination in Employment
- Place based change
- Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Early Intervention and Transition
- Apprenticeships and Vocational Training
- Employment Support Programmes
You will lead and manage our work in two key macro areas:
- Evidence generation opportunities – Engaging with national and local government on evidence generation partnership opportunities, working with the Evidence and Evaluation team to identify new opportunities and supporting the brokerage of trials to test interventions to support marginalised young people.
- Regional policy – Managing our policy work with regional and local government across the youth employment agenda
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

What the job involves
As a Celebrity and Influencer Engagement Officer, you’ll play a key role in building strategic relationships with high-profile personalities who genuinely connect with our cause. Joining our newly formed Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll help drive positive change for men affected by or at risk of prostate cancer.
You’ll work closely with our talented team across the charity and Communications directorate, fostering existing connections and exploring new partnerships. You’ll support our strategy for celebrity and influencer engagement, identifying impactful opportunities along the way.
In partnership with our Celebrity and Influencer Engagement Manager, you’ll manage celebrity logistics, administration, and itineraries, coordinating appearances at our events, media engagements, and third-party partner activities.

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who excels at building new relationships and inspiring others. You’ll be engaging with a range of stakeholders, including agents, influencers and celebrities alongside internal and external specialists at all levels. With demonstratable experience of acting sensitively, tactfully and with discretion with key stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll bring solid experience working with high-profile or VIP celebrities and influencers, along with a background in supporting the delivery of engagement strategies. You’ll be skilled in using databases to manage relationships and have experience supporting both in-person and online events.
As a strong project manager, you’ll draw on your organisational skills to manage both proactive and reactive tasks with a solutions-focused approach.

One will focus on supporting our Employability programmes including our Pathways to the professions programmes and our Alumni Careers Plus programmes which includes two new strands of the programme in Tech and Consulting launching in 2025. The Programmes Interns will play an integral part in the team to help deliver on these initiatives and the long-term aims of the organisation. The roles are varied and will support student communication and delivery across our school age (16-18) programmes and university (post 18) activities for alumni. This is an extremely exciting time to be at the Trust and the roles will require individuals to be creative, flexible and to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Main duties
- Manage student logistics including booking travel, reimbursements and accommodation across a range of programmes.
- Responding to multiple student-facing email inboxes to ensure timely and effective communication with beneficiaries.
- Being the first point of contact on the Sutton Trust main phone line, answering questions from a range of stakeholders
- Being a main point of contact for students around activity attendance, eg following up with students who haven’t attended
- Assisting with planning and delivery of a range of in person events eg, residential conferences for students on Pathways programmes, employability events for Sutton Trust alumni and online webinars

Person Specification

The Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to assist the finance team in delivering its objectives and providing effective support to our Awards Management Unit (AMU) programmes and country offices.
Scope and Authority
Authority:
This position assists and works closely with the Project Finance Lead. The position has no line management authority.

- Donor receipts: Ensure all donor income are identified and allocated to the correct grant and country codes and inform AMU UK, New York and country offices on a timely basis.

The WRC is one of the world’s leading corporate accountability organizations. Senior Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships
The Senior Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships will lead fundraising, outreach, and engagement for the WRC at the level of both strategy and implementation. The WRC’s current annual budget is US$3.3 million, and we seek to grow this in line with our program strategy to roughly $5–6 million over the next two to three years.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to progressively increase annual revenue, including identifying, building relationships with, and securing new funding from foundations, other institutional funders, and individuals, as well as pursuing opportunities to expand relationships with current funders;

- A substantial track record of successfully cultivating institutional donors and proven experience in establishing new fundraising partnerships;
- Significant experience in communications and storytelling, with an ability to distill complex analysis and program work into communications that inspire and motivate our audiences;
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to initiate, build, and maintain working relationships with existing and potential grantors and a global team across numerous time zones;
- Strong budget management skills and experience delivering against financial targets;
- Excellent organizational and project management skills and rigorous attention to detail;
- Energy, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor; and
- A commitment to workers’ rights and corporate accountability.
The following are desirable but not required:
- Experience with labor rights work; and
- Experience working in an international context.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $115,000–$135,000 per year, depending on relevant experience (adjusted to the local currency, where applicable). The WRC provides its US staff, who are covered by a union contract, with an excellent benefits package, including 100% employer-paid family health insurance, including dental and vision care, with an additional flexible spending plan with employer contribution; 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution; and five weeks paid vacation.

Safety Net is a charity supporting the recovery of those affected by rape, exploitation, sexual and domestic abuse across Cumbria.
We offer free advice, support, counselling, therapy and group work to adults, children and young people, who have been affected by abuse and trauma and provide trauma-informed care through a range of services designed to foster recovery and empowerment.
You will identify and secure new funding opportunities through a variety of channels. With a focus on securing funding, developing partnerships, and implementing strategies to expand Safety Net's reach and impact, you will be adaptable and flexible particularly in managing deadlines for charity bids and work closely with the Heads of service to achieve our organisational goals.
