After a significant period of growth, Social AF is excited to announce an opportunity for a Virtual Challenges Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with our charity partners and overseeing the performance and development of our moderators. With a team of 30 Moderators and Team Leaders (self-employed contractors) supporting up to 25 events in peak months, you will ensure the smooth operation of our social fundraising challenges. Your responsibilities will include monitoring KPIs, developing training programs, and recruiting new team members. Additionally, you will manage a portfolio of charity partner accounts, providing top-notch service to maximise income generation and ensure challenges run to an exceptional standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who thrives on building relationships and delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of key charity partner accounts, including hosting weekly update meetings and providing ongoing support throughout the duration of their challenge.
• Provide expert advice to our charity partners to maximise their challenge income.
• Develop and deliver end-of-challenge reports.
• Conduct ongoing challenge and performance analysis.
• Maximise retention for existing charity partners.
• Identify charity partners that are a good fit for our other services and support with cross-selling.
• Work with the Virtual Challenges Officer on content plans, supporter journeys, and event setup.
• Line manage the Virtual Challenges Officer.
• Lead the management of our moderation team.
• Assist with moderator training, including identifying knowledge/skill gaps, creating materials, and delivering training.
• Take an active role in recruiting new moderators.
• Organize and deliver team meetings.
• Plan and hold charity introductions and pre-challenge briefing meetings with moderators.
• Support with the development of weekly rotas and moderator group placements.

Person Specification:

• At least 3 years' fundraising experience.
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience running a Facebook Challenge or Social Fundraising Portfolio.

About the Advocacy & Support Manager role

You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. This role holds the responsibility of the National advocacy & support team, you will be responsible for the line management and operational management of the advocacy & support service across the UK. You will work within the advocacy management team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year.

You will remotely manage a team of specialist advocates and caseworkers that are based across the UK, providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Support and other Advocacy and Support managers to ensure that survivors have access to timely, tailored support, while maintaining a high quality, consistent service, with a specific focus on remote support.

You will have an in depth understanding of violence and abuse that LGBT people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community and acting as a key Galop representative within a national landscape.

You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is consistent, thorough and appropriate in order to use for reporting, bid writing and evidencing the service provision offered. You will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure that the service is effectively demonstrating its impact. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.

This project is a development from the first Realising the Benefits of World Heritage to Local Communities (RtB) project funded by Historic England. While the original project identified the problems faced by the World Heritage sector in engaging communities, this second phase of RtB is designed to help World Heritage UK (WHUK) and the wider sector in fully understanding who World Heritage Site communities are, and the challenges Sites and communities face in engaging wider and more diverse communities. Working with Sites, and their communities WHUK will co-create a sustainable platform in which to identify actions and solutions which will widen engagement and participation in World Heritage.

Through this collaborative approach which will inform every element of the work, the primary purpose of this 2.5-year project is to ensure WHUK can better support World Heritage Sites in the UK in engaging communities, growing audiences, enhancing community participation and growing a wider diversity of audiences and engagement within UK WHSs and the wider heritage sector.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

• Develop and improve relationships within the World Heritage sector and communities
• Develop an ongoing platform for a network of professionals who work within the World Heritage and community engagement field to come together to share and develop ideas and projects
• Develop digital resources
• Build a better understanding of who World Heritage communities are now, and use developed toolkits to understand and update this in the future
• Increase community engagement within World Heritage Sites
• Increase implementation of better community engagement

Job Purpose

EducAid Sierra Leone is seeking a qualified and experienced finance professional on a part-time basis to serve as the UK-based accountant. This role involves working closely with a team in Sierra Leone to manage the month-end cycle, reporting, compliance, and budgeting for the charity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce timely monthly management accounts, ensuring oversight of the accounts in Sierra Leone for accuracy and integrity.
• Provide monthly reports to the Board of Trustees, including key performance indicator tracking.
• Coordinate the annual budget and forecast process.

Programme Manager

We Are Seeking a Programme Manager (Inclusion) to amplify underrepresented voices, diversify the cultural education workforce, and help shape a more inclusive creative future for children and young people across the North West.

Position: Programme Manager (Inclusion)

Salary: £34,154 - £38,414 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

Location: North West England (hybrid – home, Wigan office, and regional travel)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible, minimum 0.6 FTE)

About the Role

As Programme Manager (Inclusion) you will lead initiatives that tackle inequalities in access to creativity and culture for children and young people. You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering impactful programmes that amplify underrepresented voices, challenge systemic barriers, and strengthen professional networks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate and deliver activities across inclusion-focused programmes. 

• Lead a pioneering initiative to connect, support and champion teaching artists across England. 

• Facilitating and coordinating an Anti-Racism Group, embedding inclusive practice across the organisation.

• Designing and delivering training, events, and CPD programmes focused on inclusion.

We Are Survivors are looking for an experienced therapeutic manager to come and join our Community Team to help us support survivors and their supporters across Greater Manchester.

The organisation has an ambitious strategy to ensure that #NoMaleSurvivorIsLeftBehind and is looking for a new therapy services manager to help us achieve this.

You will help us to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The Community team is made of therapists, group, and community workers to support men and boys to access the services they need. The role we are recruiting for is to grow this team from our central hub across wider Greater Manchester.

This role will be a job share with our existing Therapy Service Manager. The Community Therapy team deliver trauma informed therapy to survivors and their loved ones. The managers will work with the Community Services Manager and Senior Practitioners to ensure a smooth-running service and good clinical governance. There will be a small caseload as part of the role.

Role Purpose To manage specific services and teams, ensuring the provision of quality assured support services to male survivors and their loved ones. This role will be up to 12 months providing Maternity Cover to the existing Service Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To manage the operational and clinical duty of care for support services

• To maintain the safe and inclusive provision of spaces for all clients

• To provide Line Management, guidance and professional and pastoral support to all client facing services staff and volunteers

• To effectively lead and successfully manage the provision of client services, as designed, and governed by the organisation, including ensuring KPIs are met, and data handling and reporting is accurate.

• To ensure that all services managed, effectively recorded, and identify threats and trends that will result in responding effectively to meet client’s needs.

• To maintain and deliver relevant services to a small caseload of clients.

• Manage and deliver specific projects as directed and agreed by the Executive Team.

• To support the further development of the services that meet client’s needs.
