We are looking for someone to provide business partnering support to all directorates, offering first level advice to directors, strategic leads, and colleagues on general HR matters including employee relations and anything pertaining to the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the People & Wellbeing Business Partner – Operations Lead and covering for each other as needed, this role will lead on all equity and inclusion projects and initiatives within the People team, as well as organisational and individual learning.
The People & Wellbeing Business Partner – Equity & Learning Lead is also involved in producing and analysing data to inform and feed into the People strategy. They will work with the internal stakeholders on developing and delivering interventions to improve communication with, and engagement of, staff and support wellbeing of colleagues. Equity will be embedded in all aspects of the work of the People team to foster an inclusive environment for everyone in the MHFA England community.

Role Overview:

The Role
The Joint Operations Director (JOD) is a new role at Devon Air Ambulance, bringing together the leadership of all staff involved in the safe and effective delivery of outstanding services to patients. You will provide strategic leadership to our operational staff to ensure we deliver against our strategic objectives for prevention, treatment and recovery. The JOD will need to achieve the right balance between compliance and freedom within boundaries to support innovation and empower team members. The role will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and will also be a Director of the Trading Company.
The Candidate
We're seeking an inspirational leader who is collaborative and open and can provide cross-departmental support to all teams, with the ability to achieve strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be able to role model a culture of integrity, honesty and openness with demonstrable experience of working in regulated environments. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Care Quality Commission (CQC). The candidate will have high levels of resilience and be able to synthesise highly complex and sensitive information, communicating it clearly especially where there are barriers to understanding. As the role will require engagement with communities, staff and supporters across the county, it is essential that the candidate has a full driving licence.

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We’re looking for an exemplary administrative and people-oriented person who will be administratively supporting the two Faculty Leads: the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling. An important role in the organisation with responsibilities towards the Leadership Team.

Main areas of work and responsibility
- Academic and Personal Administration Support to the Faculty Directors of Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the Directors Lead on: including overseeing and managing the Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes and faculties, quality assurance and reporting to accrediting bodies and Gestalt Centre membership and accreditation.
- Provide administrative support and coordination of the Gestalt Centre membership and membership cycles. Including UKCP reaccreditation processes: coordinate membership renewals and reaccreditation processes from beginning to end, liaise with members, maintain systems and update the membership Directory. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- This role resides in the wider course\academic admin team and as/when directed is expected to support/liaise with the admissions and registration team.
- Organise, co-ordinate and provide administrative support for meetings with faculty, Gestalt Centre colleagues, UKCP, BACP, the university and exam Boards, and other external meetings as required in relation to the academic, membership or regulatory functions of GC. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
- Prepare, format, edit and update communications, presentations and reports for internal and external audiences to a high standard – including for meetings with the Faculties, the Executive, UKCP, BACP or the university.
- Work closely with both Directors on the production and content of the various Professional Training Programme Handbooks, including managing version control and ensuring accurate information within and to time.
- Provide a professional first and secondary point of contact and as and when required liaise with the Directors to respond to emails or phone calls and other communications, including the preparation of acknowledgement responses and follow-on actions.
- Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the Gestalt Centre policies and procedures
- Wider office team support such as reception/admin cover or support with events – as and when occasionally required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will be friendly, approachable, and collaborative with a positive flexible ‘can do’ attitude. We are a small, dynamic and busy organisation and as you’ll be part of the Gestalt Centre family, you’ll need to be able to work well with the rest of the team and independently, on your own initiative as and when needed. You’ll extend your friendly manner to our students and clients as excellent customer service would be important to you. You’d also have a good eye for detail and be good with numbers as you’d also be working with databases and finance.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £6.5m to keep our doors open and only around 16% of our income comes from government sources, the rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team support these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.

The role:
As our Fundraising Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of our regional fundraising team. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Income Generation and Communications Director, crafting and implementing innovative, long-term strategies to expand and diversify our income streams. About the team
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team at Impetus is a friendly, driven team that is passionate about building fantastic relationships with a variety of funders that lead to meaningful outcomes for the young people we serve. The Head of Engagement role sits within the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team, working alongside colleagues driving forward philanthropic income generation and donor retention. It plays a critical role in the stewardship of our partnerships and provides our funders with the chance to give their time and expertise as well as their financial contributions.
As Impetus embarks on a new five-year strategy, we are driving forward our ambition to grow our income and support more young people. A key element in achieving this ambition is sustaining a high-performing engagement programme which will support our fundraising activities. About this role
We’re looking to recruit an experienced individual who will lead on the donor engagement for all Impetus donors. This person will bridge the gap between our funders and the work we do with organisations in our portfolio and other partners to transform the lives of young people.
They will be primarily responsible for leading and delivering engagement through volunteering activities, and through this securing ongoing support for Impetus’s work. The role is strategic, working in close collaboration with our Investment team to first identify suitable volunteering opportunities via our portfolio partners and then working in close collaboration to deliver opportunities which closely align with the aims of our funders. Our volunteering activities span online CV workshops through to in-person Insight Days, work experience and beyond. The volunteering programme is a vital component of our stewardship offer to our donors, who seek opportunities to meet and support the young people that Impetus serves through the organisation in its portfolio.
The postholder will also support the Head of Engagement (Pro Bono) to enable Impetus to source pro bono support from corporate partners. The role line manages a Philanthropy Officer who facilitates the day-to-day running of volunteering events with partners.
Key responsibilities
Volunteering
- Manage and deliver c.50 online and in person meaningful volunteering activities a year via Impetus portfolio partners.
- Through this delivery of c.50 activities, support the management of Impetus’s funding partnerships, including Corporates, Individuals and Grant Making Trusts, to ensure donors are engaged with Impetus’s work and continue to support.
- Lead meetings (online and in person) with funders to identify their volunteering needs and drive forward engagement opportunities.
- Liaise closely with the Impetus Investment team and organisations in our portfolio to build relationships and craft the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme of volunteering sessions.
- Deliver new strategic opportunities to advance our volunteering programme, including the set-up and initial delivery of a new mentoring programme.
- Identify other new donor engagement opportunities through relationships with our portfolio, expanding the range of opportunities available to donors in response to need and availability.
- Craft relevant communications and collateral for the volunteering programme, alongside Development Directors and the Communications team.
- Ensure all communications with external stakeholders are prompt, clear and compelling.
- Work closely with account managers to ensure effective stewardship over the course of donors’ annual giving cycles, strategically advising on when to hold and host volunteering opportunities.
- Lead on the data analysis of the volunteering programme, regularly feeding back to the Development Director and Investment team in written, verbal and presentation form.
- Ensure the systems and processes around volunteering are maintained and up to date, as well as ensuring the effective use of Salesforce to hold key data.
- Line manage the Philanthropy Officer and oversee their work plan and development.
- Be prepared to travel across London to deliver volunteering events at corporate partner premises.
- Come into the London office two times per week.
- Attend Philanthropy team events outside of work hours including our evening Summer Party; our Saturday Triathlon; and our evening Transforming Lives Dinner. These are in London and outside of London.
Pro Bono
- Support the Head of Engagement (pro bono) in delivering new pro bono partners, including supporting the research of new partners and attending meetings (where necessary) to build new Pro Bono relationships.
- Working alongside the Head of Engagement (pro bono) and the Investment team, to source external support for pro bono projects. You may also support in monitoring the delivery of these projects and reviewing the quality of execution.
- Support in the stewardship of existing pro bono partners including leading appropriate meetings or Lunch and Learn sessions.
- Record all pro bono contacts and projects within Salesforce database.
Other

- Experience of running a volunteering or membership programme and familiarity with the fundraising landscape, including a good understanding of the corporate donor marketplace.

The Head of Alumni Engagement and Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for fostering strong relationships with Ackworth School’s Old Scholar community, supporting the long-term interests of the school as we head towards our 250th anniversary in 2029. This role is responsible for fundraising, donor relations, and legacy initiatives, as well as coordinating and delivering events and communications aimed at engaging with Old Scholars and the broader Ackworth School and Quaker community.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications, the Head of Alumni Engagement and Development will collaborate closely with various school departments to elevate the school’s profile and optimise income generation. The focus will be on relationship management with key high-value donors and promoting a culture of philanthropy. Additionally, the role will drive support for Ackworth School capital projects and cultivate a culture of donor care that motivates current and potential supporters.
Ackworth School, a co-educational boarding and day school, was founded in 1779 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). It maintains its ethos and traditions and is still governed by the Society. The successful candidate will be able to:
