Our Helpline and expert advisers offer free, practical support to older people without enough money to live on. Through our grants programme, we support hundreds of local organisations working with older people across the UK.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Team Administrator supports our in-house Studio team with the administration and delivery of our content through the design, print and digital processes.
You will have excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills. You will have the ability to work under pressure to prioritise, deliver, manage, and coordinate several projects and activities simultaneously to tight timescales. You should also understand design and production best practice, processes and techniques across both online and offline formats.

About the role
An exciting role to deliver a tailored package of support that will help Reigate and Banstead Council to increase levels of active travel in the area. You will engage with schools, workplaces, and communities to support and enable more people to walk, wheel, cycle and scoot for local everyday journeys, instead of taking the car.
As the Project Officer, you will plan and deliver fun, innovative and engaging activities such as mapping safe routes, leading rides and walks, practical skills sessions, competitions, initiatives and information events. The range of activities, events and resources will be adapted to meet the needs of the different audiences and will be designed to be inclusive so as many people as possible can benefit from the project and more local journeys can be travelled actively.
This role will require you to work with a range of people across local and diverse communities, workplaces and schools in Reigate and Banstead. Creating relationships with key people and employers, understanding the barriers, challenges and opportunities to actively travel. You will be working closely with others to develop a programme of activities.
You will have the opportunity to give people confidence, enthusiasm and skills to travel more actively, through events and community activities.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as school or community travel champions, local authority colleagues and other Sustrans delivery officers.
Within the role, there will be an expectation to capture the impact of the project through completing reporting and monitoring, writing case studies, capturing quotes and photos and contributing to an end of project report.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

Overall purpose
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations initially, the role holder will have technical leadership and overall responsibility for managing the Data and Innovation team. This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.
The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, to help increase and diversify income for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre to support people coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis.
Focusing on building new relationships and developing high-level, multi-year partnerships, the role holder will be responsible for corporate fundraising, managing all income streams, regular donations, bucket collections, one off donations and funds generated from third party engagement. Key responsibilities:
- Taking the lead to develop relationships with existing and new prospects with a view to growing the charity’s income
- Understanding the motivations that encourage companies to give and to be confident in researching and identifying companies
- Managing all income streams, regular donations, bucket collections, one off donations and funds generated from third party engagement
- Communicating and networking with the aim to deliver presentations and proposals that tell our story
- Working alongside the Head of Marketing to create fundraising products and tools to help support our partners
- Assisting with all levels of corporate administration, thank you letters, certificates, project reports, updating information via the database, website and social media etc.
Essential requirements include:
Proven track record in delivering income targets of £100k and upwards
Ability to research, compile and manage corporate prospects
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with a range of audiences
- Ability to develop high quality, coherent and thorough fundraising proposals and pitches
- Good attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to work independently, applying own initiative
- Able to be flexible and adaptable (attending networking events and meetings as necessary)
- A full clean driving licence and use of vehicle.

About the role
This is an important role within our legacy and journeys team, part of an established and successful individual giving operation. This role is responsible for the delivery of campaigns to promote legacy giving and to raise awareness of gifts in wills to both existing charity supporters and new audiences.

About you
You’ll have worked in a similar environment such as fundraising. You will have gained experience in running direct marketing activity to generate response, working with suppliers and in-house teams to reach target audiences.
You’re super organised with excellent communication skills, comfortable managing external suppliers and in-house stakeholders to deliver campaigns to plan and against budget.
