- The prospect research officer will join a dynamic team contributing to the overall growth of our Partnerships and Philanthropic income and sits within the newly formed Research and Engagement team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed knowledge and insight on donors and potential sources of philanthropic funds. Underpinning the team's ability to increase opportunities to build successful donor relationships alongside ethical gift acceptance processes, pipeline, and information management.

- We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate.
- Our team is responsible for ensuring direct fundraisers are equipped to make compelling asks and steward donors. We cover prospect research, KPI and pipeline reporting, high value events, stewardship and engagement asset creation, and cross team operational support.

Shannon Trust supports people in the criminal justice system, and in the wider community, to learn to read and improve their numeracy skills. The work you will be promoting makes day to day life safer for the learner, their families, and the wider community. It provides more opportunities for work and education for the learner, helps break the intergenerational cycle of low literacy and numeracy, and reduces re-offending.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the work of Shannon Trust, internally and externally, through a variety of communications platforms including print and digital media, video and radio
- Managing the day-to-day monitoring and development of our social media channels and website
- Developing strong relationships with press and staying on the lookout for opportunities to promote Shannon Trust

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.

This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team of Regional Engagement Managers. These roles are the key drivers of IChemE activity across all UK regions, helping the organisation to achieve its strategic goals of sustainable member growth, and supporting a vibrant and thriving profession.
You will be based in the East / North East of England and will be an important member of our dynamic UK field force. On a daily basis you will engage with regional HEIs, employers, and other priority partners to identify, nurture and grow sustainable relationships and engagement opportunities that positively impact IChemE’s member recruitment, engagement, and retention.

Other information

Due to IChemE’s international nature, this position requires a willingness to work flexibly and to engage in business discussions outside of normal working hours.

This is a permanent, full-time role based on 37.5 hours per week, generally Monday – Friday, but a high degree of flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
Starting salary will be in the region of £37-41,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the opportunity:
The Tutor Communications Officer will work closely with the Communications and Media Manager to support all aspects of stakeholder communications and engagement at Action Tutoring. The role will require you to develop engaging and motivational content when communicating with our volunteer tutor network, schools and other stakeholders.
The Tutor Communications Officer will develop their data management and analytical skills, when evaluating the impact of communications and maintaining subscriber data. They will also develop detailed knowledge of our e-communications software (Campaign Monitor) to create precise and engaging email campaigns with accurate segmentation of recipients.
Comprehensive induction and training will be provided. Action Tutoring is committed to providing development opportunities for its staff and, as a growing charity, there are plenty of opportunities to take on new areas of responsibility.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Work with Communications and Engagement teams to create impactful communications that recruit new tutors, re-engage lapsed volunteers, and convert former tutors into long-term charity supporters.
- Maintain and analyse data across our e-communications platforms (ValueText, Campaign Monitor) and our volunteer database (Salesforce) to optimize audience targeting and engagement, while ensuring GDPR compliance and data cleanliness.
- Respond to tutors’ enquiries and feedback complaints as part of managing the communications’ team inbox, whilst supporting the wider team to do the same.
- Work with the Communications and Media Manager and other communications officer to produce interesting and relevant pupil and tutor case studies throughout the year. Collaborate with our Programme Team and your MarComms colleagues to source appropriate case studies from our partner schools and volunteer network.

About the role

You’ll liaise with venues, expert speakers and support our team of dedicated qualified sessional therapists, as well as providing technical support for the running of monthly online services. And you’ll build productive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase their reach and uptake.
About you
We’re looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering information and support services, preferably in a health or charity environment. You’ll understand the challenges for people living with illness or complex health or social needs and be keen to use your excellent organisation and time management skills to juggle a busy workload.
You’ll enjoy working collaboratively and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders. A great team player, you’ll be flexible and able to travel and work outside normal office hours, including regular overnight stays. Above all, you’ll relish the opportunity to deliver our ambition to provide support for anyone living with secondary breast cancer who needs us, by making our services more widely available and accessible.

The Role in Brief
With the recent launch of our new strategy, Koreo is entering an exciting phase of transformation and growth. To support this growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Development and Communications Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to hone their craft in both business development and communications while playing a key role in supporting Koreo’s expansion. This role is vital in managing the operational aspects of business development and communications, supporting the growth of Koreo’s brand visibility and narrative and expanding our network of prospective clients.
As Development and Communications Coordinator, you will:

Business Development:

Identify and research funding opportunities, tenders, and potential new clients.

Manage Koreo’s tender and proposal database, ensuring submissions are tracked and outcomes recorded.

Assist in preparing proposals and tender responses, including drafting sections and coordinating inputs.

Conduct market and horizon scanning to identify trends and opportunities.

Client Engagement and Campaigns:

Manage data on prospective clients using HubSpot (or similar CRM platforms).

Coordinate campaigns to engage clients and build Koreo’s client base.

Support the delivery of integrated campaigns promoting Koreo’s offers across portfolios.

Brand and Communications:

Update and manage Koreo’s website, ensuring content is engaging and accurate.

As Project Support Officer you will support our Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation, and giving our volunteers a fantastic experience. Each of our community meal projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position). You will support Project Leaders in running our community meal projects, and will give extra support to our projects as and when required.
This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, recruiting new Project Leaders for the Region, or attending projects. The right person for this role is customer service oriented with great communication skills, enjoys being organized, has a can-do attitude, and understands that they are a key component in supporting our fantastic Projects.
There will be frequent travel to our projects in South West England and South Wales, and evening and weekend work will be needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.
