Job description

Our passion is to see Tearfund become a workplace where people thrive and grow, where people are supported to find out more about God's purpose for them, and where all of our people know that their colleagues think the best of them and care for them as whole people.

The Wellbeing Co-ordinator brings a key contribution by coordinating the provision of wellbeing services and support across Tearfund.

Reporting to the Head of Organisation Development, the role works closely with the Wellbeing Assistant, other members of the People & Culture team, and staff globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of the wellbeing strategy, to enable a strong culture of wellbeing for Tearfund
  • Completing casework assessments as requests for support come in, in order to recommend the best support and referrals
  • Managing projects, campaigns and research into wellbeing issues and practices
  • Developing global relationships internally and externally to enhance and deliver the wellbeing strategy
  • Developing internal digital content for wellbeing
  • Line managing the Wellbeing Administrator

We want to increase access to appropriate support for all staff regardless of locations and role, and make sure that Tearfund's duty of care to staff and an individual's responsibility for their own wellbeing is clear.

Do you feel you meet the above requirements? Then we would love to hear from you!

Contract type: This is a part time role working 24.5 hours per week and is a fixed term, 12 month maternity contract (open to compressed hours).  The full time salary is £37,685 per annum and the part time salary is £26,380 per annum.

Hybrid Working: In the UK this role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from a designated Tearfund office and from your home by agreement with the line manager.

All applicants must be committed to Tearfund's Christian beliefs.

The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding. In addition, personal identification information will be submitted against a Watchlist database to check against criminal convictions as a counter-terror measure.
