Job Summary
Community Mental Health Transformation is part of a long-term plan to improve mental health services. Gaddum has been commissioned to support the facilitation of mental health lived experience in Community Mental Health Transformation in Manchester.
This role will ensure Lived Experience is a crucial partner in the collaborative approach, which will enable more responsive and accessible services. The collaborative includes Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust, NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care, leaders from local Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, Primary Care, Public Health.
Job Purpose
To lead and coordinate initiatives that amplify the voices of individuals with lived experience by embedding co-production principles into program delivery. The role aims to create inclusive opportunities for meaningful involvement, ensuring equal representation, capacity-building, and the removal of participation barriers.
Through collaboration with stakeholders and partners, this position supports the development, supervision, and recognition of lived experience representatives, fostering their contributions to service transformation while building pathways for their continued personal and professional growth. Additionally, the role ensures effective Lived Experience Coordinator – Manchester December 2024 communication, reporting, and evaluation to share insights, measure impact, and support service improvement efforts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Reestablish a Lived Experience group, reviewing potential membership gaps and forward steps.
• Ensure the underpinning principles of coproduction are embedded with balance of professionals and lived experience representation.
• Attend the Transformation Group and other key meetings attached to the programme.
• To support Lived Experience representatives to lead on ethnographic story collection across the programme.
• Develop unpaid Peer development opportunities with Lived Experience representatives, providing Peer supervision.
• Identify and, wherever possible, remove barriers to panel member participation including but not limited to travel, childcare, carer responsibilities and translation costs.
• Ensure Lived Experience Representatives receive inductions and training suitable for their level of engagement.
• Coordinate regular meetings and events via a hybrid approach of face-to-face and virtual
• Manage the recruitment specific additional members for each of these opportunities, depending on the theme of the event.
• Ensure that panel members, whether from the core group or single invitees, are properly off boarded.
• Assist Lived Experience members to capture their experiences into their CVs or find opportunities in the community where people with lived experience are needed to help change services.
• Regularly communicate with Manchester Living Well, providing training and awareness raising and relevant updates and opportunities for co-production.
• Provide specialist information, guidance, and support about service user involvement to Adult Social Care staff, partners and stakeholders across a range of services and departments.
• Maintain records and data and to provide regular monitoring reports and outcomes, including end of project evaluation report.
• Contribute to Gaddum newsletters, website, and meetings, sharing information and learning form the programme.

Waterloo Foodbank (a part of the Lambeth Foodbanks Partnership) provides emergency food support to individuals and families in our community who are struggling with the cost-of-living and acute financial crises. This role will support our strategic anti-poverty work as part of our vision to end the need for foodbanks in Waterloo.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
· To explore and understand the experiences that are bringing people to need the foodbank’s support, working with a variety of local stakeholders including foodbank clients
· To develop and manage a team of volunteers with the aim of identifying a local issue and campaigning for change
· To develop strategic relationships with key partners of Waterloo Foodbank
· To feed into our wider strategic work including our 3-year participation targets and strategic communications

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights, feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls, exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs and facing barriers to social protection. Around 2,000 women use our services every year, benefitting from practical and emotional support, learning new skills and improving their own opportunities. We strive to provide essential tools for women to empower themselves in their pursuit of personal and social change.
LAWRS’ No Limits Project (Sin Fronteras) is a creative art-based project for Latin American girls and young women (LAGYW) aged 14 to 21. The project provides a safe space for LAGYW who are facing severe disadvantages due to intersectional inequalities. This holistic programme provides participants with support to address their needs and overcome barriers. It also offers opportunities for developing existing and new skills, as well as exercising critical thinking on issues that matter to them through the use of arts and campaigning work. The aim of this project is to enable participants to empower themselves and each other to seek the change they want to see in their lives, communities and wider society.
The post holder will join our Counselling and Psychotherapy team, providing emotional support sessions, clinical assessments and one-to-one short term therapy to LAGYW; delivering group work activities and psychoeducational workshops, dealing with internal and external referrals and working closely with the No limits (Sin Fronteras) Project Coordinator and other teams at LAWRS.

Job description
The Sponge Project is one of 25 Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Projects (FCRIP) across England to receive grant funding from the Environment Agency. Slough Borough Council is the lead partner in delivering the project. The overarching objective of the scheme is to raise awareness of, and preparedness for, flooding and install sustainable drainage and natural flood management measures. The project area is two river catchment areas in northwest Slough and South Buckinghamshire – the Salt Hill Stream and Chalvey Ditches river catchments. It is a six-year project which started in 2021 and runs through to the end of March 2027.
The successful candidate would be part of the project team for the National Flood Forum, but would be working in service of the Slough Sponge project partnership. There are four key delivery partners:
· Buckinghamshire Council
· The National Flood Forum
· The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
· Slough Borough Council
There are additional project partners who will also be getting involved with the project, such as the Environment Agency local teams, Thames Water, and Thames 21. So the Project coordinator would be working with internal staff at the Council (in the project team, other departments, senior management and elected members), as well as external partner organisations. As the project develops the number and range of external stakeholders will continue to grow.
The project partnership will be working towards the following outcomes:
1. Restoring rivers, installing sustainable drainage and using land management to a recreate a more natural environment that acts like a sponge, soaking up surface water, slowing and controlling when water gets to flood risk areas;
2. Developing tools that can help planners within the Council to improve future flood resilience, especially through the planning process, and identifying schemes across the whole Borough that could be funded in the future;
3. A new approach to flood management involving the community in design and delivery of water management and nature based solutions;
4. Measuring the benefits of sustainable urban drainage and natural flood management, and a monitoring baseline to monitor performance of solutions against [as a condition of the funding];
You will be doing this by supporting the management team by:
· Managing work package 2 (WP2) which focuses on the delivery of community engagement within the Slough Sponge project
· Manage WP2 project to time, scope, and quality.
· Building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders (flood Risk Management Authorities, Councils, Water Companies, Flood Action Groups, Forums, other charitable organisations, etc.).
· Facilitating communication amongst WP2 team members, ensuring everyone is informed about project updates, changes, and requirements.
· Overseeing administrative tasks by planning and scheduling project group meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on agreed actions for WP2.
· Co-ordination and reporting of risks, issues, actions, and decisions to projects.
· Playing a role in identifying and addressing issues that arise during a project, by helping to resolve any conflicts, removing obstacles, and helping to find solutions to challenges.
· Ensuring that project reports are prepared in time and at quality standards, and ready to be distributed to project partners.
· Monitoring and reporting of tasks and actions, ensuring timelines are agreed, all tasks are assigned, progress is monitored, and deadlines are met.
· Maintaining electronic records and files and support the management team with the set up of a centralised database.
· Collecting and analysing data on the project that will serve as evidence for case studies.
· Tracking progress of project outputs and deliverables and reporting those to the management team.
· Tracking project spend and ensuring budgets are on target

The National Flood Forum is a charitable organisation that puts flooded people at the heart of its work. We are the only organisation dedicated to issues around flooding. We are looking to recruit a Mental Health Project Worker who will be based at our Cornerstone Day Centre, a community centre for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The project worker will actively promote and support the aims and objectives of the Cornerstone Health Hub and the Cornerstone Homeless Mental Health Project.
The Mental Health Project Worker will help to develop the service as a psychologically and trauma informed service, focusing on achieving mental health outcomes establishing positive, effective links and referral pathways with mental health services. You will work in the drop-in identifying people in need of mental health interventions, recognising when mental health is deteriorating, or urgent treatment is needed and will take appropriate action.
You will have a strength-based approach and experience of working in a community mental health setting with people who have complex needs and will contribute positively to the multi-disciplinary team.
Additionally, you must be a mental health nurse or have an equivalent professional mental health qualification along with excellent communication skills, good IT and administration skills with knowledge of effective mental health interventions and referral pathways.
The hours of the role are flexible but to be worked with the core working hours, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 10,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
We are seeking an experienced and a highly motivated staff member for our Complex Needs Accommodation Service. This Project is a 15 bed mixed gender supported accommodation based in Islington. The role will require you to work alongside the Regional Services Manager, to provide a high level of support to these clients.
You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs relating to: mental ill health, physical health & substance use needs. You will also play a key part in reducing the risk of re-offending, liaising with external professionals, preventing homelessness and promoting the independence and social inclusion of these clients.
The working rota for this post is Monday-Friday (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm.) We strongly welcome applications from local residents of Islington.

Working as part of Signpost Stockport for Carers’ team to provide high quality support to unpaid carers. Working in partnership with Age UK Stockport’s Hospital Discharge Support team to contribute to, and in close collaboration with, the NHS Integrated Care Business staff team and other partners and stakeholders within the system.
To work positively to provide appropriate services to the unpaid carers of those Stockport residents who are being discharged from Hospital. The role is focused on working with carers, within their homes or other setting(s) that is appropriate and convenient for the carer, to ensure that they have the information and support they need when the person for whom they care is discharged, not only in that moment but for up to six weeks following that discharge.
The Hospital Discharge Community Carer Support Worker will need to demonstrate alignment with our organisation’s values:
CONNECTION – This person must be able to build relationships with a variety of people, including service users, stakeholders and staff. This is a key role in a small and busy team and this person must be willing to share with, and learn from, colleagues offering peer support and training, and cover for other staff on an occasional basis.
COMPASSION – To have an understanding of the issues faced by those with a caring responsibility and how this may impact the carer’s ability to engage with the process.
EMPOWERMENT – To recognise the role of the carers assessment review in facilitating change and celebrating what the carer is doing well.

Key tasks
To work as part of the team to deliver meaningful carer and service outcomes, within the remit of the contract specifications and requirements and current Hospital Discharge policy, as updated from time to time.

Taking overall responsibility for the office-based functions that enable Pathway Project to undertake client facing work, she will provide direct line management for the Pathway Project Data analyst, Fundraising, Office administration and Awareness teams. 1. STRATEGY, PLANNING AND CONTROL
a. To contribute to the setting of long-term Objectives, along with the CEO & Board.
b. To contribute to and implement the volunteer strategy to ensure the Charity is offering quality volunteering experiences.

2. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
a. To manage a budget for volunteers and fundraising ensuring return on investment can be quantified and resources are capitalised on.

c. To efficiently manage and procure goods that will create and generate income and report on the ROI for these goods.

4. LEADERSHIP

The role
This role will play a key part in the success of fundraising at The King’s Trust International, both through managing a small portfolio of both philanthropy and corporate donors and more broadly through supporting the fundraising of the wider team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on some of the Charities largest and most promising applications to fund life-changing support to patients and staff at Royal Papworth Hospital. Managed by the Head of Philanthropy, this role will contribute to the charities 2022-27 strategy, aiming to bring tomorrow's treatments to today's patients.

Please note this role requires a minimum of 1 day a week working in person from Royal Papworth Hospital, other than this it is flexible/ hybrid working between home and the hospital site.

Main duties of the job
As Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Fundraiser, you will proactively and independently manage relationships, reporting and application cycles for Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory Funders, adhering to all deadlines to maximise income generation. You will write high quality and compelling proposals to attract new and significant sources of funding. Working closely with colleagues in the programme management team you will identify projects suitable for prospective funders. Using the information provided, build compelling and persuasive applications and cases for support. You will monitor the ongoing progress of programme activities, outcomes, and finances and report back to funders, highlighting any changes as soon as possible.
