Role outline and purpose
Network Services Co-ordinators play a critical role in the delivery of central services to food banks in Trussell’s network. The Network Services teams fulfils three vital functions for Trussell; answering public and food bank enquiries, delivering projects for food bank operations, and providing guidance and training on food bank facing platforms. The co-ordinator role is vital to Trussell’s delivery of high-quality services and information both for network members and for other enquirers.
Role responsibilities
· Provide technical and operational support to the network on a variety of food bank facing platforms, including creating and maintaining resources, guidance documents and training for all food bank personnel.
· Compose and send communications and messages to the food bank network.
· Analyse and report on operational data sets, reporting to other teams in Trussell and external partners.
· Lead and manage operational projects, including working with external partners and stakeholders from across Trussell.
· Reply to public enquiries and complaints from members of the public.

Role Overview
This role will co-create, develop and evaluate different governance tools, frameworks, methods and metrics for promoting Good Work through technological disruption and the innovation lifecycle. This will include approaches which involve, anticipate, mitigate and evaluate systems ‘in the wild’.
Working with the wider team the Researcher will deliver action-research projects which evaluate the impacts of algorithmic systems, supporting industry Learning Partners using a range of methodologies.
The successful candidate will have enthusiasm to work at the intersection of social, legal, technical and economic questions. Strong oral and written communication skills, and an ability to maintain respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with industry partners is essential.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- An understanding, through academic or professional training, of the basic workings of algorithmic technologies
- Good face-to-face communication and the ability to be at ease with people from a wide range of backgrounds

Role Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will lead marketing activity to reach and grow a teaching and youth audience for the Into Film programme. The Marketing Coordinator will manage the Marketing Officer’s work, ensuring that it is planned and delivered effectively to successfully promote our offer to educators.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and implement the Into Film marketing strategy to grow our audiences and deliver against KPIs.
- Lead Into Film marketing campaigns - planning, copywriting and coordinating across paid, organic and earned media, taking responsibility to meet Into Film’s KPIs across the Into Film offer.
- Support the Marketing Officer on email communications using our email service provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) by writing and building emails when required.
- Manage cross-platform paid digital activity, including Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), ensuring that it is tracked, evaluated, and delivers an excellent ROI.
- Work with the Press and Editorial Manager to integrate PR and editorial activity with marketing plans to ensure a seamless journey is created for all paid, owned and earned activity.
- Support the creation of content for the Into Film website, as part of Into Film campaigns to meet the needs of our audiences.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications, to ensure that brand and style guidelines are updated, and that the organisation is trained and using our brand correctly.
- Implement, monitor and develop Into Film automated e-communications journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance marketing and user experiences for our audiences.

About the role
Working closely with the Therapy Manager, Clinical Lead and Director of Services, you will deliver the marketing of a programme of member-led training for external organisations and other services at Headway East London. Working directly with our members, you will deliver projects of a high standard which are co-produced and reflect the diversity of our community. You will take a lead on developing and delivering the marketing material. You will collaborate with our members, staff and partners to advance our aims to educate professionals in the public sector, whilst exploring ways to generate income for the organisation through this source.
Principle duties and responsibilities
1. Identify opportunities to engage external stakeholders with the member-led training project of delivering external training to professionals within the public sector.
2. Work directly with Headway members to develop and deliver this project, embedding this work within the organisation’s co-production strategy.
3. Support members to participate in these events in collaboration with other teams, by providing direct practical assistance to members.
4. Identify and seek out new external opportunities which support the development of our therapy service, ensuring that opportunities are quickly acted on.
5. Explore potential income generation for Headway East London.
6. Lead on the design work associated with some of this work (e.g., mock-ups, early design concepts, marketing collateral) and present this externally and through social media channels.

Da'aro Youth Project is looking for an experienced caseworker to join our small team based in Streatham Hill, London. The successful candidate will work alongside young refugees, asylum seekers and other young migrants who are at risk or in crisis to ensure that they can access their statutory rights and make progress in their personal development so that they can achieve their full potential. We are seeking an experienced evidence (systematic) reviewer to support the development of clinical guidelines, guidance statements, national audit and new product reviews, as well as supporting the wider membership and Faculty officers in responding to evidence and research enquiries. Part of the role will be to help establish the technical team and providing advice on appropriate methods and processes for the programme of work.
As part of the CEU team the postholder will work closely with the Clinical Director for the CEU, CEU team, clinical fellows, FSRH Clinical Quality Committees and senior faculty officers as well as national and international clinical experts involved in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare. Key duties will include identifying and appraising relevant evidence using established systematic review methods and developing structured evidence summaries across a range of products. The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) is the leader in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare, and we are the voice for professionals working in this area. As a multi-disciplinary professional membership organisation, we set clinical guidance and standards, provide training and lifelong education, and champion safe and effective sexual and reproductive healthcare across the life course for all.
The Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) at the FSRH develops a range of evidenced-based clinical guidance documents including clinical guidelines, statements and new product reviews as well as associated activities such as national benchmarking audits and responding to member evidence enquiries. The CEU is part of the wider Clinical Quality programme overseen by the Director for Clinical Quality who manages this role.
The role:
1. Analytical and technical:
Responsible for developing a range of literature reviews (scoping, umbrella, and systematic reviews) for clinical guidelines and guidance in accordance with FSRH processes and established evidence synthesis methodologies. This includes:
- Contributing to the development of scopes,
- Developing review questions and protocols,
- Systematic searching and identification of relevant evidence,
- Full quality assessment of evidence including application of GRADE framework
- Synthesising, collating and summarising quantitative and qualitative evidence
- Summarising and presenting evidence to guideline committees (GDG)
- Preparing written summaries of the evidence / GDG discussions as part of the guideline, guidance statements, evidence enquiries or new product reviews
- Collaborating closely with the Clinical Director, Clinical Fellows and GDG to write the guideline and guidance in line with FSRH approach
- Preparing technical responses to comments received during consultation or peer review of guidelines and guidance
- Contributing to webinars, blogs, articles and publications relating to guidelines and guidance products
- Contribute to audit and national benchmarking activities
- Responding to FSRH Officer, member or internal evidence enquiries including in relation to new research or products
- Contribute to surveillance process of new evidence relevant to the update of guidelines or guidance
2. Supporting methodological developments
- Contributing to the technical review of methods and the continuous improvement of methodological practices, proposing changes to processes and methodology as appropriate
- Keeping up to date on the latest developments in evidence-based practice methods
- Contribute to identifying new ways to deliver member evidence review services
3. Planning and project management:
- Working with the team, in particular the project co-ordinator, to help plan the work of the CEU and the delivery of guidelines, guidance and associated activities
- Monitor and control guideline development progress, ensuring adherence to project plans
- Contribute to identifying and mitigating risks and issues in relation to the development of guidelines, guidance and associated products
- Co-ordinate and lead guideline development project meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members
4. Communication:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and engagement with a range of internal and external staff, including senior FSRH staff and officers, clinical experts, academics and patient organisations.
- Presenting complex information to multidisciplinary and lay groups such as guideline development groups or FSRH clinical committees
- Contributing to publications and articles on FSRH guidelines and guidance
- Responding to member, press or officer enquiries regarding FSRH outputs and relevant evidence
You will have:
- A Master’s degree level or a higher postgraduate qualification in a related area (for e.g. Public health, life sciences, epidemiology or medical statistics), or medical degree with experience in health services research, or equivalent level of experience gained in a relevant role
- Specialist knowledge of literature review methodology (incl. systematic review)
- An understanding of guideline development and assessment methodology
- An understanding of the principles of evidence-based healthcare, critical appraisal and the interpretation and synthesis of clinical research
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
- An understanding of sexual and reproductive healthcare (Desirable)
You will have experience:
- Conducting literature reviews from inception to write-up
- Working in systematic reviewing methodology including undertaking quantitative and qualitative methodologies either in an academic, clinical or healthcare research environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of the organisation’s financial data and security, and ensure the provision of consistent, robust and accurate financial reporting to the organisation on a timely basis. They will lead the preparation of the annual accounts and will be the primary liaison point with the external auditors. They will maintain consistent financial controls, high standards of delivery service and regulatory compliance across the finance function.
Job Purpose:

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Accountable for all aspects of the finances for the charity, including VAT returns, payroll, gift aid, and the administration of investments and pension arrangements, in line with standard guidelines.
2. Act as strategic financial partner to the CEO ensuring strategy is grounded in robust financial planning. Build, monitor, review and evaluate all budgets, with the Chief Executive and Senior Managers as appropriate.
3. Provide the Chief Executive, Treasurer, and other Trustees with timely and insightful monthly reports, such as: income and expenditure, cashflow, investment etc.
4. Prepare for, and present at, the quarterly Finance and Investment Committee meeting
5. Work with the Treasurer and Chief Executive to manage the annual programme for the Finance and Investment Committee.
6. Carry out periodic and ad hoc finance risk assessments and risk testing, advising the Chief Executive on the extent of the risk and remedial action necessary.
7. Manage all arrangements associated with the annual audit of accounts.
8. Ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place, that they work, and that they are monitored effectively and reviewed regularly.
9. Identify where cost savings can be made without detriment to services.
10. Work with the Treasurer and Trustees to assist them in making decisions on investments.
11. Line manage the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant to ensure objectives are met and that the finance function runs smoothly. Succession plan to ensure the team remains fully staffed.
12. Provide business partnering collaboration and support to each Head of Department.
13. Work as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) to lead the day-to-day running of the charity.
Work Context:
The role of Head of Finance is crucial to the continued success of the charity, and the support we provide to children and adults in Surrey who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind. Early warnings, and long-term predictions of financial problems are essential to the annual planning of activities.
This role involves the post holder having detailed knowledge of daily accounting, as well as the ability of the incumbent to be able to describe financial matters to trustees and staff who may not be financially trained, along with the ability to take a more strategic outlook and to work with other Senior Managers. Careful briefing is needed to help Senior Managers to manage their budget effectively, and to enable Trustees to understand the monthly dashboard and end of year accounts. The post-holder is personally responsible for identifying financial risks to the Chief Executive and Treasurer, along with suggested mitigations that they have identified. The Head of Finance is responsible for making all the necessary arrangements for the Annual Audit of Accounts with the chosen auditors.
The charity constantly needs to reassess priorities in line with a changing funding environment and the needs identified by the people we support. In order to successfully manage these pressures, there is a need for all staff to be flexible and work wherever their core skills are needed most. No one will be asked to carry out work for which they are not properly trained. As a member of the Senior Management Team you may be asked to use your skills to manage such situations and transfer your own experience partially or completely, depending on the situation. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible in your contributions to the effective management of all aspects of the operation of the charity and our services.

Skills and Experience:
Experience
Either, experience of working in a charity environment within the last two years, or commercial experience that has involved ‘hands on’ work in all areas needed by the charity. Demonstrable experience of being able to support at a strategic financial level to help shape the agenda and be hands on is essential
Qualifications
ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA or similar qualification is required.
Skills
Able to provide both strategic and hands-on financial support whenever necessary.
Working knowledge and experience of SAGE or similar accounting systems.
Experience and competence in using Microsoft 365 and a range of other software and applications.
Developed understanding of financial risk management, including the interaction between cybersecurity and fraud risks and controls and financial risks.
