What we are looking for:

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a Senior Fundraising Executive to join our Hospital Engagement team. This position is based in the hospital for 3 days per week, with the remaining time spent working from home.
As a Senior Executive, your main focus is to build relationships and connections within the hospital in order to increase the Charity’s visibility, drive income growth and referrals from patient families, visitors and hospital staff.
Salary
The salary for this position is £35,051 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
This is a varied role where you will:
- Engage and develop strong working relationships with hospital staff members.
- Roll out a patient family fundraising training programme, delivering training to staff groups, identifying fundraising champions within the hospital and increase patient family referrals.
- Collaborate with the Hospital Engagement team to recruit and relationship manage hospital staff in our Charity Champions Programme.
- Collaborate across the charity with our Grants, Brand Marketing and Communications team to coordinate charity family activity and implement a hospital engagement and communications plan.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
This role is focused on relationship building and influencing and we’re looking for someone with:
- Experience working with the public in a customer facing role.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. (you will need to be comfortable working with patient families in a hospital environment).
- Confident delivering presentations and training.
- Experience working with or managing volunteers.
Whilst you’ll be an employee of the Charity, this role requires you to be onsite at the hospital for 3 days per week (with the rest of the time spent working remotely).
The hospital is a large site and you’ll be physically attending different department meetings, organising events, and hosting events (ensuring branded stock is available, moving boxes, helping with event set up).
About the Team
This role sits within the Hospital Engagement function within the Community team, whose purpose is to drive the charity’s presence within the hospital to build key relationships and increase income from patient families and hospital staff.
This is a role with regular hospital contact and appointment to the role will require the individual to meet any hospital access requirements which may change over time.

This role provides support for the direction of financial accounting processes related to accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information and analysis. This role supports the Head of Financial Accounts with the planning of the statutory audit, the implementation of automation within the Financial Accounting function and accountancy software and reviewing and improving the processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely follow-up actions to clear and resolve historical balances as part of the preparation for the consolidated statutory accounts for the charity.
- Focus on process improvement for the processing of credit card expenses.
- Works with the Head of Financial Accounts for audit planning activities.

Location
The role would be based at one of IntoUniversity centres in Birmingham, Bristol, Coventry, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester or Nottingham, with regular travel across the network and to our Head Office in London.
Salary
£57,500.
Plus additional London contribution of £2,600 for London-based candidates.Pro rata for part-time candidate.

Role Overview
This role will co-create, develop and evaluate different governance tools, frameworks, methods and metrics for promoting Good Work through technological disruption and the innovation lifecycle. This will include approaches which involve, anticipate, mitigate and evaluate systems ‘in the wild’.
Working with the wider team the Researcher will deliver action-research projects which evaluate the impacts of algorithmic systems, supporting industry Learning Partners using a range of methodologies.
The successful candidate will have enthusiasm to work at the intersection of social, legal, technical and economic questions. Strong oral and written communication skills, and an ability to maintain respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with industry partners is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance the mission, goals, and ethos of our organisation
- Understand the importance of Good Work as an ethical and legal framework guiding the implementation of responsible AI
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with industry partners through action research projects
- Support, collaboratively conduct and lead high quality research, including survey research and analysis and action research projects
- Undertake and participate in additional research projects on workplace impacts of AI and AI governance
- Write blogs, research papers and reports and deliver presentations with an understanding of different audience needs
- Develop, lead and deliver training to professionals working in AI governance where appropriate
- Support the wider team in identifying potential funding opportunities and developing funding proposals and meeting funders
- Respond to relevant items of public policy, and engagement of our network at events
- Supporting and/or coordinate meetings, workshops, roundtables and parliamentary activities relating to workplace governance of AI
- Support the establishment and development of the Sandbox architecture through the drafting and revision of key governance documents and agreements
- Tracking and reporting to the relevant team/people on individual work that contributes to the impact of IFOW’s work
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of policy and practices relating to governance of algorithmic systems
- Applied or academic experience researching the social, economic, legal and ethical impacts of algorithmic systems
- An interest in the relationship between governance, political economy and job quality
- An understanding, through academic or professional training, of the basic workings of algorithmic technologies
- Good face-to-face communication and the ability to be at ease with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- A strategic mindset and the ability to offer and receive constructively critical feedback
- The ability to work both collaboratively and independently, comfortable with making decisions at pace and sometimes in a changing and uncertain environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay on top of many large and small tasks simultaneously, as well as a commitment to quality and attention to detail

Role Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will lead marketing activity to reach and grow a teaching and youth audience for the Into Film programme. The Marketing Coordinator will manage the Marketing Officer’s work, ensuring that it is planned and delivered effectively to successfully promote our offer to educators.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and implement the Into Film marketing strategy to grow our audiences and deliver against KPIs.
- Lead Into Film marketing campaigns - planning, copywriting and coordinating across paid, organic and earned media, taking responsibility to meet Into Film’s KPIs across the Into Film offer.
- Support the Marketing Officer on email communications using our email service provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) by writing and building emails when required.
- Manage cross-platform paid digital activity, including Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), ensuring that it is tracked, evaluated, and delivers an excellent ROI.
- Work with the Press and Editorial Manager to integrate PR and editorial activity with marketing plans to ensure a seamless journey is created for all paid, owned and earned activity.
- Support the creation of content for the Into Film website, as part of Into Film campaigns to meet the needs of our audiences.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications, to ensure that brand and style guidelines are updated, and that the organisation is trained and using our brand correctly.
- Implement, monitor and develop Into Film automated e-communications journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance marketing and user experiences for our audiences.
- Lead on evaluation of marketing campaigns, working with the Marketing Officer, including continually optimising conversion journeys across the Into Film offer.
- Generate communications activity that illustrates our impact across the education and film sector, including advocacy of our vision and mission.
- Ensure lead generation, acquisition, and ongoing management of Into Film contacts is GDPR compliant.
- Manage the budget for Into Film marketing activity and tools.

Minimum Requirements:
- Experience of managing cross-channel marketing and communications campaigns.
- An excellent working knowledge of digital marketing including paid, owned and earned media.
- Experience of managing marketing and communications agencies and/or freelancers, including briefing, budget setting, monitoring and reporting.
- Experience of managing budgets.
- An excellent understanding of data analysis and how data can be used to measure the success of marketing and communications activity, through analytics tools such as Google Analytics and CRM.
- Experience of using an Email Service Provider (particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to build and send emails to segmented audiences from our CRM database.
- Knowledge of customer journey development and how to automate communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud that motivate and reward user actions.
- Excellent working knowledge of CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) to build campaigns, user journeys and segmentation.
- Working knowledge of PPC and SEO to maximise our offer to our audiences.
- Experience of creating content (written and moving image) for an educator, public sector or arts audience.
- Experience of managing staff workload, ensuring deadlines are met and delivery performance is monitored.
Desirable:
- A good understanding of the education market and how teachers can use film (and the arts more broadly) to meet their teaching and learning objectives.
