The Programme Coordinator role
Due to the exciting expansion of our programmes in 2025 we are seeking a new team member on a fixed term basis to support our next year of growth and delivery.
In this role you will provide crucial customer service and administration to support the delivery of our inspiring employability and skills-focused workshops in schools.

*Hybrid working
This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. These days are considered commuting days. You do not need to live in London to apply for this role, but you will need to consider what you feel is a reasonable commuting distance for you to attend the team days in London.

Carers Scotland is seeking a Senior Employment Manager to lead our work in supporting unpaid carers in employment and employability. The role includes managing and leading the Carer Positive scheme and Employers for Carers Scotland. You should be passionate about supporting unpaid carers to enter and remain in employment, where they want to start or continue their career. A confident, self-starter you should have considerable experience of managing programmes and projects, as well experience of income generation, including preparing bids for project funding. A strong network within the business community and an understanding of employment practice would be an advantage, as well as experience in public speaking and training. A good team player is a must.

We're looking for a Community Fundraising Manager - it's a great opportunity to develop a plan and deliver a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities to engage people with our work and contribute to our income.

Working Conditions

ROLE PURPOSE
This role provides vital administrative support to the fundraising team, handling a range of tasks from donation processing and data management to coordinating team schedules and managing the giving inbox. The Fundraising Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations through effective record-keeping, accurate processing of cash and card donations, and organising essential materials and resources. Additionally, this position serves as a first point of contact for donors and supporters, delivering a warm and welcoming experience for all who call or visit the Welcome Office.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support
• Donation Processing: Process and log all donations, including cash, card payments, and online donations. Ensure accurate coding and logging of donation information, especially during seasonal appeals, and support backlog processing as needed.
• Email and Inbox Management: Respond to emails in the giving inbox, directing queries appropriately and maintaining organised records of communication.
• Cash Handling and Banking: Arrange and oversee regular cash collections, maintain records in the safe, and support regular cash counting and banking to ensure accurate and secure handling of donations.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Support team scheduling needs, including coordinating departmental meetings, agendas, and any follow-up actions. Assist with booking and organising events as needed.
• General Office Support: Manage the distribution of collection tins and buckets, assist with inventory and stock checks for fundraising materials, and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising resources.
• Additional Administrative Duties: Perform a variety of other administrative tasks to support the wider fundraising team, including preparing reports, maintaining organised files, and supporting volunteer coordination when required.
Supporter Engagement
• Act as the first point of contact for all donor enquiries through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all supporters.
• Process donations made in person, over the phone, and through other direct channels, and assist with maintaining a timely and personalised thank-you process for supporters.

Team Collaboration
• Provide front desk coverage, welcoming visitors and donors at the Welcome Office and serving as a friendly and helpful representative of the organisation.
• Work collaboratively with the fundraising and wider team to support ongoing needs, assisting with tasks across departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Support team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.
• Any other duties as required by the needs of the organisation
Additional Information
• Hours: This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week. While the role is fully office-based, there is flexibility in how these hours can be scheduled, and they may be spread across 3, 4, or 5 days depending on preference.
• Location: This role is based in the Welcome Office, at St George’s Hospital, Tooting where the Fundraising Assistant will serve as a front-facing representative for the organisation.

No corporate partner has the same needs, and whilst our purpose remains the same, this role requires flexibility, ability to manage a portfolio workload, communicate ideas and influence to ensure the partnership maximises brand opportunity for The King's Trust.

This role is perfect for you if you are an experienced marketing professional, confident producing marketing strategy and campaigns, influencing stakeholders and a range of digital marketing skills including using social media channels, , as well as have a detailed understanding of the marketing communication mix – understanding the right media to reach particular audiences.

Charity People are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful unique children's welfare charity to find them a new part time Operations Manager. This is a new role, in a young but fast-growing charity who are progressing at a fast pace. They currently have a Finance and Operations Manager, but since there is such growth, they are now splitting the role and have created this temporary Operations Manager role, with the view of this becoming a longer-term fixture. You will initially report to the Finance and Operations Manager. This role can be worked remotely, with at least one or two days per month being spent in the charity's office in Leeds, so it would be ideal to have the successful candidate residing in proximity, or someone who can travel easily into Leeds monthly.
This a small organisation who requires some further guidance and support from the new Operations Manager, to really help underpin everything already in place, and to drive the operational side of the charity forward. There are around 20 staff members, and many more volunteers, and everyone is extremely passionate about the cause, and would love the Operations manager to be just as passionate and onboard with the values of the charity's team.
Key areas of focus for this role are HR, IT, Data Protection and Health & Safety. There is work to be done in each area, reviewing, tweaking, amending, and recommending any changes across policies, systems, staff training, risk assessments, benchmarking, employment contracts and safeguarding. So, this is an exciting role where you can get stuck into various aspects and help shape the future structure of the charity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and develop customer-centric products with the Senior Manager, with a focus on virtual events, social events and any other opportunities in this space
- Oversee product delivery from planning to evaluation, collaborating with experts internally and externally, attending events, and representing BHF positively.

Working arrangements
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
