This role presents a great opportunity for a candidate with strong administrative, communication and team-working skills to join the Strategic Partnerships team at the RAF’s leading welfare charity. The Strategic Partnerships team manages the Fund’s relationships with corporate partners who play a vital role in making the Fund’s work possible. The team also develops and markets new fundraising offerings as well as identifying, researching and engaging with new corporate partners who will help the Fund stand side-by-side with the RAF Family in years to come.

This is an ideal role for a candidate already working in the charity sector and wishing to develop their skills in an active partnerships team, or for a candidate interested in transferring their skills into the charity sector. This role is an important one in supporting activity across the team, and particularly the work of the Strategic Partnerships Managers, with a focus on administrative support as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will enable the team to build relationships and meet ambitious fundraising targets, allowing the charity to change the lives of beneficiaries facing hardship now and in the future.

The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Job Title: Rural Programme Coordinator – based in Liberia & Sierra Leone
Languages: German Language skills (preferred but not essential)

Principal Location: Makeni, Sierra Leone, with frequent travel across Sierra Leone & Liberia

Our Organisation:

Street Child believes that every child deserves the chance to go to school and learn. Our projects focus on a combination of education, child protection, and livelihood support to address the social, economic, and structural issues that underpin today’s education crisis. Since 2008, we have helped over 1,500,000 children go to school and learn.

Role Purpose:

• Oversee Street Child’s rolling school construction programme in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
• Support in-school, community engagement, and economic empowerment activities.
• Work closely with local partners to manage the construction of 50-100 primary and secondary schools annually.
• Frequent travel to rural communities to monitor projects and gather updates for internal and donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting & Programme Funding Engagement – 30%

• Review narrative and financial quarterly reports from country teams and provide feedback.
• Lead the consolidation of narrative reports for various donors.
• Ensure regular information flow to communications and fundraising teams.
• Support income-generation efforts, including drafting funding proposals and donor visits.

2. Programme Management – 35%

• Collaborate with national partners, Government, and community stakeholders to identify and assess school construction needs.
• Ensure quality and timely implementation of school construction programming.
• Develop systems to track progress against key milestones and address challenges.
• Train and guide partner staff to ensure the effective use of programme documents and tools.
• Monitor safeguarding policies and support feedback loops with partners and participants.

3. Finance & Procurement – 20%

• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring value for money in selecting contractors.
• Work with finance colleagues to compile financial reporting for programme donors.
• Support teams in compiling requisitions in line with programme forecasts and budgets.
• Coordinate the tracking of donor and match funding requirements.

4. Other – 15%

• Provide surge support across Street Child’s programme portfolio.
• Coordinate staff, stakeholders, and donor visits.
• Represent Street Child appropriately both internally and externally.
• Carry out other reasonable requests within the broad remit of the role.

Person Specification:

Experience and Knowledge:

• Relevant field experience in development programming with local partnership respect.
• Successful delivery of team objectives through collaboration.
• Experience with data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
• Experience working in education, community engagement, and livelihoods programming.

Leadership of the fundraising function at Caudwell Youth. You will be responsible for our fundraising strategy, working with the CEO. You will take a personal lead on high value giving from Corporate and Major Donors.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential skills and experience

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, including a track record of securing high-value gifts of six figures.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering fundraising strategies, including corporate partnerships, major gifts, trusts, and foundations.
• Sound leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve targets. The Fundraising Director will manage a team of two within a wider organisation of 25 staff.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with donors, corporate sponsors, grant-making bodies, and stakeholders, including grassroots and volunteer-driven fundraising efforts.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget management, financial forecasting, and reporting on fundraising performance, with a focus on KPIs and success metrics.
• Ability to set and achieve clear fundraising growth targets, ensuring alignment between current income portfolios and projected expansion.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising proposals and cases for support.
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations, data protection laws (GDPR), and ethical fundraising best practices.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Apprenticeships Service Administrator to support the apprenticeship provision within Harris Federation Central Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the apprenticeship team and support by managing administration and providing essential support to apprentices across the Harris Federation. Key responsibilities include the organisation of Apprenticeship events, maintaining individual learner records (ILR), data analysis, and managing the virtual learning platform and MIS. Additionally, there will be a requirement to assist line managers and staff members with Apprenticeship queries.

A primary focus is on onboarding learners and maintaining accurate enrolment records, contributing to the effective delivery and evaluation of apprenticeship programs across the Federation.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:

General Administration and Apprentice Support

• Supporting Harris Federation as a main provider, ensuring all apprentice data is accurate and up to date
• Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations to promote apprenticeships
• Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and information sessions
• Supporting the promotional/marketing strategy to drive apprenticeship applications and delivery
• Organising and managing information days for prospective learners / students and supporting the recruitment to various apprenticeship programmes
• Maintaining responsibility for monitoring and updating records on the DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service) system and other data system trackers
• Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the apprenticeship tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and levy usage
• Helping to maintain the EOSONE learning platform to ensure accurate data and the declaration of our monthly ILRs (individual learner records)
• Supporting the implementation, procurement, quality assurance and evaluation of the apprenticeship offer to support business objectives
• Data analysis and preparing regular reports on performance of various programmes

Management Information System (MIS)

• Managing and actively updating EOSONE learning platform to ensure all the learner portfolios are up to date including off the job
• Supporting with the on-boarding of learners on the Harris Federation main provider provision and the completion of relevant enrolment documentation, procedures, and guidance

As our Lead Learning & Development Specialist you’ll support BHF in the successful delivery of this organisational wide Enterprise Foundations programme.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.   

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day a week on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. 

About you

Experienced in designing and delivering complex learning programmes for both technical skills (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Power BI) and behavioural skills (e.g. communication), you’ll have previously experience managing complex learning programmes with multiple audiences, workstreams and stages, as well as experience in developing online learning resources and delivering virtual learning experiences.

You’ll be an all-round L&D Specialist but who has experience with technical training and can understand/pick up new tech quickly, able to work directly with subject matter experts and not get overwhelmed by the jargon.

Role Summary

Job Summary:

The Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director of Programmes will provide high-level administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of the office and supporting the Deputy Director in managing their workload. Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:
   • Manage the Deputy Director’s diary, schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
   • Prepare and organise meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
   • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the Deputy Director.
   • Handle incoming communications (emails, calls, etc.) and respond or redirect as appropriate.
2. Project Coordination:
   • Assist in the coordination of projects and initiatives led by the Deputy Director, including tracking progress, deadlines, and deliverables.
   • Conduct research and compile data to support project planning and decision-making.
   • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of cross-functional projects.
   • Maintain and update project documentation and files.
3. Liaison and Communication:

7. Personal Assistance:

Qualifications:

Our partner is seeking a Project Finance Officer to join a close knit finance team, within an impactful international charity. The role in addition to having a focus on financial processing & accounting, has a significant focus on business partnering and providing support to country offices.

Responsibilities

• Supporting country office staff with their finance data inputting, ensuring that these are accurate and complete; monitoring their cashflow, managing funding requests and processing intercompany invoices, reviewing and analysing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting with processing payroll.
• Maintaing budget holder reports.
• Support the team with the internal audit and annual year-end audit processes.
• Support with HR & other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Astute individual, with a degree in or studying towards an accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA or ACCA, and interested in a career in international charity finance.
• Strong technical background and understanding of double entry bookkeeping and data entry, strong attention to detail.
• Experience in developing systems, working with complex consolidation systems, and on grants financial management is desirable.
• Good numeracy & IT skills.
• Good relationship building and communication skills, able to work effectively with overseas staff with sensitivity, and support them with any queries/issues they have.
• Able to work effectively, prioritising a varied workload.  
• Working knowledge or fluency in French is strongly desirable.

This role is permanent, and is only open to candidates with the RTW in the UK. This role requires the individual to be in the office once a week. In addition to the salary on offer, the organisation will offer some support for those candidates studing towards an accounting qualification.
