Our Programme Officer role is vital to the smooth running of our Systems Improvement team’s projects. You will be a key part of our delivery which focuses on supporting multi-agency local area partnerships to improve their SEND systems & processes. In particular, we see a key element of this role as supporting our work which supports local areas to improve inclusion in all of their educational settings.
Programme Officers are given discrete elements of projects to lead and deliver with engagement from other team members and an identified project lead. One day you might be co-facilitating a focus group with parent carers to understand the current strengths and challenges of co-production in a specific local area; and the next, analysing a local area’s data to shape the next steps of a project improving outcomes for children with special educational needs and disability.
This role will support the delivery of and take responsibility for identified elements of NCB and Council For Disabled Children’s (CDC) multi-agency SEND Systems Improvement contracts, which aim to improve practice and in turn influence policy. You will work with a variety of stakeholders including the Department for Education, Parent Carer Representative bodies and Integrated Care Systems from across England alongside local authorities working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

What the job involves
We’re seeking a Digital Channels Officer to join our Web Operations Team covering maternity leave on a fixed term basis.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing content for our website, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and impactful. You’ll be responsible for publishing digital updates via the content management system (CMS) to ensure timely, high-quality, and consistent content across the website. Working closely with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK, you’ll provide guidance on our online presence and help deliver engaging digital experiences for all our audiences.
Your day-to-day will include editing, proofreading, and publishing content that resonates with our audience. You’ll also help train internal teams on our content management system.
Collaborating with our Web Operations Team, you’ll spot opportunities for improvement and contribute to larger projects, helping us continually improve our site and deliver results more efficiently.
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content who is comfortable authoring basic HTML and preparing web images with accessibility requirements in mind. You'll be skilled in using content management systems (ideally Umbraco) to build and update web pages.
You’ll need the technical skills to author and edit basic HTML, as well as prepare and edit images for the web. A solid working knowledge of interpreting website analytics, including experience with Google Analytics and search engine optimisation techniques, is essential. You’ll be an excellent communicator, skilled at explaining complex analytics and technical details in a clear, approachable way for non-technical colleagues.
In this role, you’ll also need the ability to prioritise tasks and handle tight deadlines, negotiate effectively, and manage challenging conversations when needed. Experience with online community moderation and staying informed on current web tools and trends will be advantageous as we continuously improve our site.

Third Sector Leaders Kirklees has received more than £900,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, to empower local people to take individual and collective climate action and reduce fuel poverty in their community.

Summary and key purpose
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.
- Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.

The Ubele Initiative was established in 2014 as an African Diaspora led intergenerational social enterprise. Our mission is helping to build more sustainable black and racially minoritized communities across the UK. Ubele is unique in that it was built from bottom-up and is intentionally an intergenerational organisation.
Over the past few years, we have designed and delivered a wide range of local, regional, national, and international initiatives which seek to create and build community wealth.

About The Role
As a Ubele Programme Coordinator, you will be a member of the Community Wealth Building hub supporting the programme manager by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating learning programmes, communicating with our partners ensuring resource availability for the project team from project inception to completion.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Programme Coordination & Collaboration
Collaborate with the CWB Director and Agbero Programme Manager to coordinate the delivery of learning and training within Agbero2100.
Serve as the first point of contact for the Agbero2100 London programme, handling and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.
Maintain effective and ongoing communication with key stakeholders, ensuring their active engagement and interest throughout the programme.
2. Event & Training Coordination

Baca is looking for a Support Worker who can join the support team and provide support, care and be a role model for young people who are newly arrived refugees and victims of trafficking aged 16 to 18. Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. Job Summary
Chapter One is seeking a Manchester Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to children facing disadvantage communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base, but who is also able to travel frequently around the Greater Manchester area to visit schools.The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers (also part-time) who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work additional hours during busy autumn months, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year. Role Description
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will lead in the development and implementation of the Cathedral's financial strategy and objectives, providing expert financial guidance and support to Chapter and senior colleagues to develop strategy to deliver Chapter's vision. Key Responsibilities
The CFO will support the Facilities Manager in the development of the Cathedral's Property portfolio and our Net Zero Carbon Strategy.
Strategic:
- Overall responsibility for the finance function ensuring the accurate and timely presentation of management accounts, budgets and cashflow reports and annual accounts for the Cathedral and Enterprises.

Your challenge? To provide brief and long-term interventions which will incorporate outdoor spaces and activities that promote healthy lifestyles and reduce substance misuse. An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and the ability to write client records and report and fulfil data requirements.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026 requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

As Fundraising Insight & Database Officer, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a data culture across the Fundraising & Partnerships departments, taking ownership of the CRM (Raisers Edge NXT), implementing new processes and getting creative with data to empower the teams and embed data as a driver of decision making.
To be successful as the Fundraising Insight & Database Officer, you will need:
- Experience using a CRM, ideally Raiser’s Edge/NXT and extensive knowledge of Excel
- Experience of producing marketing/fundraising campaign selections
- An understanding of the principles of Data Protection Legislation
