About the role
We’re looking for a case study officer to join our talented and ambitious press, PR and celebrity team.
The successful candidate will support all elements of the charity’s case study function including recruiting and engaging new individuals with the charity who are willing to share their personal experiences of breast cancer to support our work and managing and nurturing key relationships day-to-day so they have the best possible experience when supporting the charity.
A key element of the role will be supporting colleagues in the press, PR and celebrity team to identify and seize opportunities for case studies to share their experiences to raise awareness of breast cancer, Breast Cancer Now and how we’re here for anyone affected by this devastating disease.
You’ll will work with teams across the organisation to support them in sharing the voices of people affected by breast cancer through their work. Liaising closely with colleagues to understand where case study support is required, you’ll identify the people who, through sharing their personal experiences, can best support activities to deliver on charity objectives. Key to this will be gathering the relevant insight and identifying ways we can engage case studies with our work in a way that’s mutually beneficial.
About you
You’ll have a good understanding of issues impacting people affected by breast cancer. With this you’ll have an awareness of, sensitivity to and ability to adapt to their changing needs and circumstances and how this might impact their ability or wish to support the charity’s work.
When engaging individuals with sharing their story to support us, you’ll approach this work with professionalism, sensitivity and care at all times, being sure to identify opportunities bring about mutual benefit for both parties.
Handling sensitive information appropriately at all times is key to this role, and requires you to have a knowledge of GDPR regulations and a commitment to[VS3] following Breast Cancer Now’s compliance and confidentiality regulations. You’ll also be proficient in using CRM tools to store and record interactions and sensitive data relating to supporters.
A strong verbal and written communicator with high levels of organisation, you’ll be prompt in responding to supporters and colleagues appropriately and with clear and accurate information. You will also be a quick learner and work well as part of a fast-paced press, PR and celebrity team.

DFN Project SEARCH is delivering transformative change, supporting, and helping young people with learning disabilities and autism into the world of work. Nationally only 4.8% of people with special educational needs and disabilities gain permanent paid employment in the UK yet 70 percent of DFN Project SEARCH graduates gain jobs, 60 percent of them achieving full-time permanent roles.
You will be required to improve the quality and outcomes of existing DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area. This is with the aim of supporting the organisations to ensure that every intern has the best possible chance to gain full-time paid employment. The focus of this role is to ensure continuous improvement across all sites, relating to model fidelity and outcomes. This relates particularly to sites achieving less than 60% employment outcomes.
Our model means that our regional Programme Specialists form new partnerships and develop new DFN Project SEARCH sites, supporting them through to year one of delivery. Job Purpose

Dimensions
This role will join the executive team, reporting to the CEO and the board of trustees. Great support has a substantial impact on small environmental charities and the people they benefit. This role will see you support an established, enjoyable, professional development programme for city farms, community gardens and care farms. In London you'll focus on training and showcase events, and nationwide you'll lead on helping organisations achieve the Green Care Quality Mark. The role will suit someone creative, methodical and comfortable with people. The role involves getting out and about, but most of the work is office work. This role does not include any practical gardening or farming activities.
Hours: Full time days (37.5 hours) per week. Or four days a week (30 hours) if preferred.

a) London Development - 3 days a week -
To support the delivery and co-ordination of a programme of targeted training and capacity-building for city farms and community gardens in London to improve their long-term viability, thereby contributing to the sustainability of vibrant local communities throughout the capital. b) Green Care Quality Mark (GCQM) Administration - 1.5 days a week
To support the UK-Wide GCQM programme liaising with our panel of Assessors, assigning applications for review and inputting data into our ‘Civi’ CRM.
The programme helps green care practitioners such as care farms demonstrate to clients, funders, commissioners, referrers and volunteers that they operate a safe, professional and caring place to be.
The post holder will be responsible for administration and promotion of the GCQM, and supported by managers to retain participants of the scheme, attract new enrolments, and increase the associated earned income for SF&G.
c) SF&G Membership Support.
A half day a week will be dedicated to supporting SF&Gs UK- wide membership programme through social media, newsletters and database management.

Street Support Network is a small, impactful charity that helps over 30 locations in the UK in their responses to homelessness.
Lead organisations in these locations pay us to host and maintain a localised online directory of services and advice. This is where most of our income comes from.
We also work offline, connecting people in local areas to co-produce better solutions, facilitate conversations and co-ordinate action.
About the Role
This interim role will play a pivotal part in the future of the charity by leading the team and our network of local partnerships to support those experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
This high-impact role requires an independent and strategic leader who can balance managing existing partnerships with identifying and cultivating new opportunities and exploring options for a sustainable future for the charity.
We anticipate this role is needed initially for a six- month period to complete an options appraisal for the future. A longer-term appointment is possible, depending on the outcome of the appraisal.

About the Responsibilities
Manage existing SSN locations:
- Manage relationships with existing locations and strengthen engagement with them, ensuring they receive tailored support and we receive maximum income.
- Use our CRM system to track partnership engagement, including relationship status, history and payments. This will likely include engaging with partners regarding outstanding payments.
- Host and facilitate quarterly online network events to encourage collaboration amongst SSN locations. Support our locations with managing their data integrity. This will include recruiting and managing volunteers. Measure and report on impact using Theory of Change and other metrics, both internally and for our partners. Be responsive to enquiries from potential new partnerships.
Support the Street Support Network Team:
- Provide appropriate support and direction to the two team members.
- Host and lead regular team meetings to ensure communication, engagement and collaboration.
- Meet regularly with Chair of Trustees and Finance Advisor. Prepare Reports for Trustees and attend Trustee meetings to present advice and support actions agreed.
Income Maximisation and Fundraising:
- Work closely with our Finance Advisor to maximise fee income from existing SSN locations.
- Collaborate with our external fundraiser to identify additional funding opportunities and submit compelling grant applications to supplement fee income covering the charities’ core costs.
- Provide guidance to local partners on their fundraising initiatives and grant applications to meet their SSN fees.
Explore and present an options appraisal for the future of Street Support Network:
- Work with Trustees, team and external partners to explore options for the future of SSN to include options for expansion and development of new products and services or for consolidation.
- Collect evidence and undertake stakeholder consultation and provide written reports to Trustees to help with decision making.
- Develop action plans for taking strategy forward.
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Significant knowledge and experience of the homelessness and charitable sectors

In the last 5 years, this role has achieved huge success in CARAS’ development, more than trebling our income and enabling us to expand our staff team and therefore our reach. We are a highly impactful organisation that is often looked to for our insight in the sector. We have an ambitious five-year strategy, co-produced with group members, staff, volunteers, trustees and partner organisations, that guides our current work.

This opportunity comes at a very exciting time. CARAS will be piloting a 4 day week from the 1st of January- 30th June 2025, meaning that all staff will be working 80% less time for 100% pay. Full time employees will reduce their hours to 4 days per week. About the role
Are you passionate and knowledgeable about delivering training in AI and keen to apply your skills to lead a purpose-driven project?
Media Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on the delivery of a pioneering new programme. You will be empowering charities and under-represented creative talent, helping them gain AI skills to bridge the growing AI divide and prevent marginalised communities from being further excluded or disadvantaged.
The programme will provide AI essentials training to two of Media Trust’s key beneficiary stakeholder groups: (i) small charities advocating for and supporting marginalised communities, and (ii) talent from under-represented backgrounds working, or aspiring to work, in the media and creative industries.
Media Trust will be partnering with one of the world’s leading tech companies who will deliver the training for the programme – we expect a formal announcement of the partnership in late November.
You will be responsible for designing the delivery calendar and managing the launch and delivery of this ambitious programme, which will run from January to December 2025. You will also manage the MEL (measurement, evaluation and learning) processes for the programme and produce a quarterly progress report for the programme funder.
You will provide insights and learning from the programme to help Media Trust design new AI-related and other digital skills training programmes for charities and/or creative talent from under-represented backgrounds.

Role Description
Our membership community are the lifeblood of GCT, representing a passionate group primarily based in the UK, inspired by the magic of Galapagos. Through their membership donations, this community provides a critical stream of income, protecting this special place long after people visit and represent our best advocates for protecting Galapagos into the future. We are seeking a special individual who can help us reach more of this UK audience and catalyse a growth in new supporter recruitment. At GCT, we truly believe that regenerative tourism can be part of the solution for conservation and this role will also drive stronger connections with tourism businesses and other targeted corporates to grow GCT’s income, donor recruitment opportunities and also to disseminate messaging to influence more sustainable practices in the Galapagos tourism industry.
Reporting to the CEO, the Membership & Regenerative Tourism Manager will drive the development and implementation of three key GCT strategies: Membership, Corporate fundraising & Regenerative Tourism. The role will line manage the Individual Giving Fundraiser who is responsible for managing GCT’s contact database and membership/corporate fundraising administration.
What you’ll deliver:
Membership
· Working with the Individual Giving Fundraiser you will oversee a growth in GCT’s membership (targets to be agreed upon appointment) whilst ensuring our strong record of supporter retention is maintained, ensuring our members feel a valued part of protecting Galapagos.
· Working with the Individual Giving Fundraiser and Communications team, you will develop and deliver high quality communications to members and tourism contacts, growing recruitment and ongoing engagement.
· Working with the Individual Giving Fundraiser you will manage GCT’s contact database (CRM) and will refine GCT’s membership, supporter and corporate data tracking processes, reporting monthly and quarterly indicators to the Senior Leadership Team and Board.
· You will ensure robust administration of membership, supporter and corporate income, with an ‘all-hands-on-deck’ attitude during busy income processing times.

o Highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timeframes.
o Strong finance/budget planning experience with ability to track targets, RoI and KPIs.
o Excellent written and verbal communications skills, experience in best practice customer service.
o High digital literacy, confident in a variety of softwares (e.g. Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes, databases and CRM systems).
o Excellent team management skills with evidence of supporting others to achieve their potential, experience in training others desirable.
Desirable:
o Experience working in the charity sector and particularly in environment/conservation or the tourism sector will be an advantage.
o Evidence of fundraising and/or marketing skills e.g. a qualification or training course is desirable.
o Spanish language ability is an advantage but not critical to this role.
o Confidence in public speaking to a variety of audiences and experience facilitating workshops is beneficial.
Place of work: GCT offices, central London (UK) with potential for occasional national and international travel; based in London office at least 2 days per week, option to work from home up to 3 days per week. This is a UK-based role, please only apply if you are legally entitled to work in the UK and can easily travel at least two times a week to our London office (near Waterloo).
Hours of work: 35 hours (5 days) per week.
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
Reports to: CEO
Line Manages: Individual Giving Fundraiser, possible intern/ volunteer/ consultant management
