Responsibilities of our Individual Giving Officer – Retention
- As Individual Giving Officer you will be part of a passionate and friendly team of six, working on the Retention side of the Individual Giving team. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of Cats Protection’s Individual Giving programme.
- You will be making an impact by leading on projects across multiple communication channels to steward our wonderful supporters, ensuring they feel valued and helping to generate over £22 million a year in sustainable income for Cats Protection. This includes everything from leading the creative development of stewardship mailings, building engaging and thoughtful supporter journeys, and project managing telemarketing campaigns – all of which feature cats at the heart, of course!
About the Individual Giving Team:
- We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
- Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
- We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media
What we’re looking for in our Individual Giving Officer - Retention
- Experience in an Individual Giving role or similar, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
- Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets
- Experience in leading projects and managing schedules
- An understanding of the principles of Data Protection legislation and implications for Direct and Digital Marketing
- A good working knowledge of transaction and contact databases

Who is The Charlie Waller Trust?
The Charlie Waller Trust was created by the Waller family in 1997 in response to the loss of their son and brother Charlie who died by suicide. We have since become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities for children and young people. Our overarching mission is to educate those with responsibility for children and young people - parents and carers, teachers, college and university staff, and employers - about children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
The Youth Ambassador Role: We are seeking Youth Ambassadors (16-25 year olds) to join our Youth Involvement Team. We wish to appoint people that can bring diverse experiences in education, work or community in order to help create and shape the work that we do. The Youth Ambassadors role is about prioritising youth representation, identity and community across our charitable activity and beyond. The Charlie Waller Team will provide appropriate training, guidance, and ongoing support to those selected.
What will the role involve?
- Working remotely for up to 2 days (14 hours) a month.
- Attending a Charlie Waller Team day in person in March 2025, in London. Travel expenses will be covered.
- Attending up to six online group meetings with other youth ambassadors and the youth involvement team.
- Preparing for all meetings by reading any specified materials and conducting any preparatory activities.
- Making advisory recommendations regarding the Charlie Waller Trust’s existing projects and programmes in schools, universities, colleges and the workplace.
- Opportunities to be involved in our podcast series, our equity, diversity and inclusion and sustainability working groups, fundraising events and co-delivery of training.
- Co-producing new and reviewing current training materials, resources, and communications.
- Opportunities to public speak at CWT meetings and events, as well as at events and conferences with external partners.
- Attending training sessions around topics ranging from public speaking to mental health research.
- Opportunities to attend mental health conferences on behalf of CWT.
- Opportunities to work with partnership organisations such as The Charlie Waller Institute or the Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Coalition.
- There will be other potential opportunities to co-produce and contribute to other CWT projects and activities, for example as a filmmaker/ researcher/ event organiser/ fundraiser etc.

How much time am I expected to commit?
We expect those joining the Youth Ambassador group to join on a freelance basis for one year from February 2025 to January 2026.
Hours are subject to change each month but on average we would plan for you to work for CWT for up to 14 hours (2 days) per month. The majority of the working hours offered can be arranged as flexibly as possible around your other commitments
Will I be paid?Ambassadors will be remunerated for their time at a delivery and desk rate of £15 per hour for work both online and in person.
Desk work includes training preparation, resource coproduction or review, attending meetings and involvement in focus groups. Delivery work includes training delivery, public speaking at an event about the work of the Trust or hosting or being interviewed on the ambassador podcast.
Any expenses incurred in the role will be covered in line with the Charlie Waller Trust’s expenses policy (public transport or mileage at 45p mile). Main areas of responsibility
Focussed on the Coronation Food Project (CFP) Hubs across the Head of Commercial Development will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of commercial initiatives and activites.

We are looking for an experienced and creative Director to lead communications for UnitedGMH and the Global Mental Health Action Network (GMHAN).
You will have deep experience of global advocacy communications with the ability to develop and execute communications strategies with stakeholders across government, international organisations, civil society, the private sector, the media, research and academia. You will be confident in developing and implementing an organisational communications strategy, with a strong emphasis on brand, advocacy and digital communications to engage global audiences with UnitedGMH and GMHAN.

This is a varied and exciting communications role which sits in the fast-paced High Value Operations team in the Income and Engagement directorate. In the role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the High Value Fundraising teams and beyond to lead on writing high value funding proposals, impact reports, event collateral and other impact focussed donor communications (£100,000+). Main purpose of this role
Our mentoring work provides a person-centred approach, supporting disabled people to access the life-changing power of movement and sport. We train mentors (who are mostly disabled) and match them with disabled people who face multiple barriers and are likely to remain inactive without intervention. They work together to break down these barriers and connect with local sports clubs and initiatives. We delivered our first mentoring programme in Nottingham and are now looking to expand the programme across the East Midlands and other areas in England and Wales. Alongside this we want to expand our already established Supported Runner Programme to enable disabled people to participate in shorter community runs, and to adapt the model to support disabled people into other sports.
We are looking for a proactive, confident and dynamic individual to help us set up and deliver new mentoring and supported sports projects to enable disabled people to get involved in physical activity in their communities. You will join our small creative and supportive team within an empowering, values-led organisation that is person-centred and ambitious to empower disabled people.
We are looking for someone with significant experience of delivering projects at a community level, recruiting and supporting volunteers and project beneficiaries. You will be able to work independently, take initiative and achieve results. You will keep up to date with developments in the disability and sports sectors in order to inform the development or our projects and ensure we are seeking opportunities for partnerships and funding. Project Officer – Job description
Job Title: Project Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Project set up and delivery
- Develop and implement project plans that incorporate KPIs, milestones and responsibilities, ensuring deadlines are met and plans amended as appropriate.
- Develop effective systems, policies and procedures to support project delivery.
- Carry out administrative tasks and maintain accurate records of projects and activities.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions to volunteers and freelance mentors.

About this role
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic fundraising specialist and team player with a proven track record of income generation, to take on this exciting new role at this exciting point of our organisational growth.
Across the last two years, EduSpots has significantly grown its income, and significantly advanced the quality, scope and reach of its operations in Ghana, with further plans for expansion in the years ahead. We are looking for an individual that understands the value of community-led change, with all our work centred on, and resulting from the actions of 400 locally-based educational Catalysts.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on the responsibility for growing our income generation from trusts and foundations, as well as building a strong network of partnerships with schools, corporates and individuals who will contribute effectively to our overall annual income targets. We are looking for an experienced individual, who is able to work with the CEO to develop larger fundraising partnerships at this point in our development.
You will oversee a small part-time fundraising team, comprising a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager, alongside interns and other income-generation roles that may emerge.

Our energy work is directed by our Consumer Power strategy, which guides our focus on putting people at the centre of a fast, fair & accountable energy transition under four pillars of action: securing energy consumer rights; sharing the benefits of a fair and affordable transition; empowering prosumers; and amplifying consumer voice in energy policy. Most recently, we have begun super-charging the consumer opportunities created by the transition and emerging energy-related technologies, using a new approach of working with a broader network of stakeholders, including businesses, to deliver positive change for consumers around the world.
Purpose of the role
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Lead for Consumers in the Energy System, in delivering research, analysis and global advocacy on the topic of clean energy futures and generally contributing to building our impact under our Consumer Power strategy. The Coordinator will focus on supporting implementation of a variety of new projects, for example:
- Through our “Exploring Energy Consumer Voice in the Clean Energy Transition” project, we are collecting and analysing examples of successful consumer voice campaigns and will showcase action by consumer organizations across multiple countries to drive forward the clean energy transition. This work aims to empower consumer representatives with a strong voice in clean energy transition dialogue.
- In our “Blueprint for Inclusive Energy Services” project, we are working with businesses to explore energy consumer vulnerabilities and develop innovative, tailored services that can assist most vulnerable customers to access and afford the energy they need to support their wellbeing.
This is a varied role that will involve collaborating across Consumers International’s teams and working with external partners to support project management and assist with research, report writing and stakeholder engagement. The role will include supporting the Lead with direct communication to external stakeholders such as businesses, governments, subject matter experts and wider civil society, and working with our Member Engagement Lead to liaise with our consumer advocacy group Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the implementation of clean energy futures projects. This will include managing the project plans and signalling the timelines for project deliverables, as well as assisting with engagement with a wide group of project partners to gather their inputs and feedback and keep them updated on project progress.
- Support the Lead in conducting research and analysis to support the development of proposals, reports and events relating to clean energy for consumers.
- Work with Consumers International’s members and partners to gather examples and insights to inform the development of our analysis and outputs, in particular for the “Exploring Energy Consumer Voice in the Clean Energy Transition” project, and on clean energy futures more broadly.
- Draft, provide input to, and disseminate communications (e.g. meeting minutes, research reports, topic briefings) to project stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely and appropriate communications.
- Support organisation of in-person and online stakeholder workshops or meetings including supporting the development of agendas, invite lists and online and in-person logistical arrangements such as coordinating travel for staff and speakers and delegates attending the events. This may include both project-related meetings and representation at other events and high-level global moments such as COP30.
- Contribute your thoughts and ideas to development and delivery of the clean energy futures work programme and strategy.
- Support the communication of activities and decisions internally on clean energy futures so that all staff are informed and engaged in our work.

Role Summary
To provide administrative and operational support for Into Film’s Filmmaking programme, including the BFI-funded Young Creatives programme and our Every Child a Filmmaker initiative. This role supports the wider programme’s operational delivery by handling organisational tasks and assisting with specific activities, ensuring smooth running of projects in collaboration with the Filmmaking Coordinator, Filmmaking Lead and wider team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be part of the matrix project team supporting filmmaking activity across the organisation, working under the Filmmaking lead, Filmmaking Coordinator, and Joint Head of Programmes, to implement the delivery plan for Filmmaking.
- Provide administrative support for the delivery of filmmaking projects, focusing on scheduling, tracking, updating documentation, and reporting.
- Assist in the coordination of partnerships with informal youth groups to help stimulate and incentivise filmmaking activities, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of partnerships.
- Support resource development by assisting in the creation and maintenance of filmmaking resources, including assisting with logistical arrangements for teacher training events, competitions, and courses.
- Collaborate with the Marcomms team to assist in promoting the filmmaking offer across all communication channels, including providing organisational support for social media campaigns.
- Provide support particularly to the judging process, for Film of the Month (or similar) ‘always on’ competitions, partnership and themed competitions and the Into Film Awards.
- Maintain the CRM database of filmmaking organisations across the UK, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- As additional funding allows, research and reach out to underrepresented and underserved young people through organisations (including schools) to match with experienced filmmaking practitioners to deliver projects.
- Assist with data collection and evaluation for reporting to funders by ensuring accurate data input and collection from relevant stakeholders. Maintain content on the Filmmaking ‘Hub’ pages to keep them fresh, relevant and up to date.
- Support the production of an annual filmmaking showreel highlighting a range of diverse, representative stories.
- Add youth made films to Into Film+ streaming service, Into Film Shorts YouTube channel, other online platforms and submit films to appropriate international youth film festivals.
General Responsibilities:
