We are looking for applicants to work as part of the supported employment team providing on the job employment support for individuals with learning disabilities. The part time role will be based across the county of Flintshire and work intensively with individuals who are looking to develop skills and secure paid employment. As an Employability Coach at Hft you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible, by supporting them to achieve goals and aspirations around paid employment. In this creative and rewarding role, you will enable people to develop and acquire relevant skills needed for the workplace, support them to gain work experience, with the ultimate goal of them progressing into paid employment. You
will provide innovative and high-quality support to the people we support while they build skills for employment, develop their CV’s and when they have secured employment. You will be helping to ensure that the people we support:

About you

You will have a ‘Can Do’ attitude, be driven and enthusiastic about helping people with learning disabilities to meet their aspirations. You will have the ability to look for creative solutions to meet people's support needs in a way that respects their individuality. You will work be able to work well using your own initiative and in partnership with colleagues from partner organisations, and with Hft’s Work Options Manager.

As an Employability Coach in this role, you will work Mon-Thursday during office hours, however you will need to be open to flexible working which may involve some occasional evening and weekend work.

You will lead a two-year project contributing to the work of the No Wrong Door partnership – local organisations and local residents working together to ensure there is ‘No Wrong Door’ for Black Disabled people seeking employment, as they can expect excellent support from any organisation.

About You:

• Demonstrable hands-on experience of designing and building reports and dashboards using a variety of tools.
• Experience using and managing data collection and analytical platforms.
• Excellent writing skills, ability to disseminate and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience and expertise at writing SQL queries within SQL Server or similar tool

Role Purpose

You will work alongside the Strategic Projects Manager to provide flexible and high-quality project management and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, working across THET’s programmatic, operations, policy, and advocacy work.

THET is experiencing an exciting time of growth, and you, alongside the Strategic Projects Manager, will play a critical role in supporting this growth to be managed well, and in ways that allow colleagues to maintain a focus on existing projects and programmes.

The Strategic Projects unit focuses on new and emerging areas of work which require close collaboration with staff across the organisation, and to use creative thinking, sound project management and administrative skills. Recently completed work ranges from providing interim programme and events management support to THET’s Experts In Our Midst programme, to project management and coordination support to the UK-Africa Health Summit. Work is now starting on initiatives to tackle the organisational change we see at THET, such as strengthening recruitment and induction processes, and improving our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion approach.

Main Responsibilities

1. To provide high-quality project management support for new and emerging areas of work, responding flexibility to opportunities and needs as agreed with the Senior Management Team and Strategic Projects Manager.

2. To broker cross-organisational collaboration with the wider staff team to deliver on these projects and manage the effective handover of responsibility to those teams at appropriate moments.

3. To flex across projects and programmes during pinch points to provide extra capacity to team members where necessary.

4. To provide sound administrative support to the Senior Management Team and Strategic Projects Manager, undertaking research, planning and on occasion, logistical support as needed.

5. To liaise with a range of senior external stakeholders in the UK and overseas in the delivery of strategic projects.

Soul City Arts (SCA) is an arts organisation committed to developing creative programmes with a vision of ‘connecting communities and transforming society through creativity’. 

ABOUT US:

The organisation is founded and led by artist and curator Mohammed Ali MBE, who has built a strong team over the past two decades. We create events and programmes that explore commonalities and shared narratives of people across all faiths and those of differing perspectives. We seek to build hope, pride and confidence within communities enabling them to celebrate themselves and their narratives. We like to help tell the stories of everyday people in extraordinary form.

We are currently a small team of three employees and 3 more regular freelancers with ambitions to grow! 

We are now looking for our next hire - an experienced Senior Producer - to help us support our ambitious plans.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The  Senior Producer will support SCA’s Artistic Director in the effective delivery of all SCA activity, from planning to delivery review, whilst providing effective event support. You will supervise and manage a small team.

As Senior Producer you will work collaboratively with creative organisations and practitioners; be skilled at building relationships with speed and credibility with people at all levels, cultivating strong relationships with UK, international partners and venues alongside developing new partnerships. You will also support the Artistic Director to oversee and manage events and projects.

You will be a creative, collaborative and ideas driven individual, confident in managing people and multiple priorities, with extensive experience of producing complex productions with a range of partners.

What you will be responsible for:

• Identify artistic opportunities that further SCA artistic ambitions, nationally, internationally and digitally by developing partnerships and prospecting leads 

• Work with the wider SCA freelance team (production manager, tech etc) to deliver diverse commissions, programme strands and ideas across multiple interdisciplinary artforms. 

• In collaboration with the Artistic Director establish new relationships with potential partners and companies, programmers and producers, nationally and internationally. 

• Identify the best way to develop each project, and be the first point of contact for events and projects that are taking place locally

• Ensure artists SCA is working with are supported, communicated with, and managed to ensure the best possible experience.

• Manage event/project budgets liaising with the Executive Director providing regular and accurate updates. 

• Manage and champion representation, accessibility and inclusion across the Producing Process including setting frameworks for accountability and monitoring. 

• Ensure effective internal production communication between the SCA team, artists, production partners and staff 

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget 

• Work with the SCA team to collect data for Arts Council England and other funders as 

• Lead on projects that include community engagement and meet with the local community champions and figures to profile build and develop relationships, including schools and our work within schools 

• Represent the company at cultural, city council and Arts Council meetings as required locally and nationally

• Work with partner venues to ensure all spaces for projects, including workshops, rehearsals and technical support are booked 

• Work with the Production manager for site specific delivery to ensure the technical and production requirements for the artists are met. 

• Liaise with the artists to understand who is attending, what their production and technical requirements are and liaise with venues and SCA staff with regards to implementing this. 

• Liaise and work with the operations manager with regards to contracting of artists, freelance staff and access to Port Hope. 

• Advance planning of production schedules in conjunction with the Operations Manger and Studio Assistant to ensure that events can be set up in good time.

• Other producing responsibilities as required

ABOUT YOU:

• Demonstrated achievement of results in proactive partnership, stakeholder and business development

• Previous responsibility for contracting and financial oversight

• Experience of financial monitoring

• Experience of managing projects and large-scale events 

• Working knowledge and understanding of operational delivery linked to projects and programmes, including the development of systems, policies and procedures and ensuring compliance

Growing Hope is a charity that champions accessibility and provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to our senior leadership team of four individuals – our CEO, Executive Director of Services, Director of Operations, and Director of Growth. We are looking for a strategic and innovative individual with strong planning and organisational skills who is committed to the Growing Hope vision and values. As the charity grows we require support for project management and development of processes across the organisation. We’re looking for an individual who looks at the bigger picture, can help us with horizon scanning and can bring new ideas and processes to our ways of working.

Job Purpose
As Growing Hope reaches towards its vision to have twenty clinics by 2030, the Senior Team require additional support in order that they can fulfil the strategic direction of their roles. The Executive Assistant will be flexible and adaptable and able to help the team with streamlining processes as the charity grows. This role will provide essential daily support to the senior team including diary management, project management and process support across the organisation.
