In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients, many of whom have experienced homelessness, addiction, or involvement in the criminal justice system. You will provide tailored employability advice, one-to-one support, and deliver workshops aimed at helping clients develop the skills and confidence they need to rebuild their lives.
You’ll support with our LEAP project, providing a crucial stepping stone for clients in the early stages of recovery. By collaborating with partner agencies and working alongside our Peer Navigators, you’ll ensure clients receive the comprehensive support they need.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete initial assessments, risk assessments and risk management plans ensuring a high standard of case management.
- Work with a caseload of people who have experience of homelessness, addiction, and/or the criminal justice system that want to improve their chances at moving into training, education and employment.
- Provide employability advice and a range of interventions with the aim of supporting them to improve their employability, access training, volunteering, and move towards employment.
- Lead on and develop the Good Shepherd structured volunteering programme for people in early stages of their recovery journey.
- Work with Peer Navigators from our LEAP team to provide additional support.
- Signpost and make referrals to external agencies and build positive working relationships with partner agencies across the city.
- Deliver one to one’s, workshops and group sessions.
- Collect, collate, and interpret data that is required to report on the outcomes achieved through this work.
- Record and update service user activity in line with GS Confidentiality Policy.
- Maintain a high level of professional boundaries in line with GS Safeguarding Policy.
- Observe all Health and Safety regulations related to the role and comply with GS Policies and Procedures.

Our Welfare Officers provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family. As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you will use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.
You will play an active role within the community, promoting the service through the delivery of presentations and representing the service at public engagement events. You will also work closely with RAF welfare teams, local authorities, health, education, civilian agencies, charities and other military organisations to ensure the best outcome for the service user.

About you
To thrive in this role you will have relevant experience of supporting adults, families and children/young people. You will be able to take a flexible and creative approach to problem solving. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver presentations with confidence.
You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have experience of carrying out assessments, preparing plans, monitoring and reviewing outcomes.
There will be some travel required and therefore you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own car.

About the Role
This role will be pivotal in growing the Help for Heroes email supporter base driving income and engagement from different audiences. It’s an exciting chance to be a part of a rapidly growing Individual Giving programme, to working with internal and external stakeholders to produce digital campaigns with advocacy and campaigning at the heart of what you do.
You will be involved in recruiting, engaging and converting the supporter community across digital channels, predominantly via email and DotDigital. It is key advanced engaging supporter journeys via email, following and creating automation journeys whilst also coming up with creative ideas for execution. Motivating supporters to engage with the charity, whether by signing our latest petition, donating, or signing up to become a regular giver.
Additionally, you’ll be able to report and analyse on all elements of our digital mobilisation campaigns, reacting to audience and sector insight to optimise our supporter journey.

When a client’s situation is more complex and full advice is required, you and the volunteers can show members of the public how to contact our Adviceline service. We also have some capacity to help people who are in need of urgent support on the day.

The Role
An exciting new role has arisen, where we are seeking a pro-active, solutions-focused, team player for the role of Development Officer (Operations) for our Development department. As Development Officer (Operations), you will lead the implementation of LAMDA's new fundraising database system of Raiser’s Edge, including data migration, system optimisation, and creation of comprehensive documentation.
Working closely with the Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the CRM, to support fundraising and alumni relations efforts, while ensuring compliance with data protection laws and establishing best practices for system usage.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, with a good understanding of CRM systems and fundraising processes. You will also have experience in financial processing, have keen database management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Mind in Camden have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Hearing Voices Team as a Service Manager. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to help sustain and develop our hearing voices projects which include Voice Collective (supporting young people and their families), Voices Unlocked (supporting people in prisons, forensic units and Immigration Removal Centres) and the London Hearing Voices Network (a network of peer support groups for adults who hear voices across London).
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of overseeing and developing these projects while being part of a team that is able to be creative and innovative in its approach. To be successful in this role, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Movement and the role of peer support within this, in addition to understanding the importance of different frameworks for understanding mental distress. You will have experience of supervising or mentoring staff/volunteers, and have the skills necessary to build a strong and effective team.
With the confidence and organisational skills necessary to take the lead on busy and diverse projects, on the cutting edge of the Hearing Voices Movement, you will be required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (from mental health services, prisons, forensic settings, academic institutions, and youth sectors). As such, this role is best suited to someone who is flexible enough to modify their approach to suit the situation. We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills, who is able to communicate the values of the Hearing Voices Network clearly and accessibly in a range of settings.
As well as having responsibility for the day-to-day management of the projects, including supervising staff/volunteers and ensuring we meet targets agreed with funders, you will also be required to undertake direct development work when necessary. This role is about creating opportunities for excluded young people to access employment. You will be part of a national team of Opportunities Coordinators, but your role will focus on supporting the London region to deliver the employability elements of our intervention.
You will play a crucial role in the implementation of the employment readiness element of our intervention, which involves organising Career Taster Days (CTD), supporting employability workshops with young people & identifying training, work experience, apprenticeships, & employment opportunities.
This role requires someone who can build & develop relationships with corporate partners & generate meaningful employment (or training) opportunities for young people. This will involve working closely with the busy internal team at Dallaglio RugbyWorks & the schools where we work.

Are you an organised and efficient administrator?
We are looking for someone to join our team supporting Unpaid Carers in Lewisham in a part-time admin role based at our Carers Hub at Glass Mill Leisure Centre. Our activities programme offers Unpaid Carers the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities in a social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.
You’ll work closely with the service manager to plan and arrange a wide programme of activities for young and adult Unpaid Carers. This will involve liaising with providers, ensuring health and safety, insurance and other checks are in place, arranging resources and refreshments, completing risk assessments and booking venues.
You will promote activities to Unpaid Carers, manage bookings and respond to queries. As the role is based in our Carers Hub, you will interact with Unpaid Carers visiting the team or enquiring about the service. You will also provide additional admin support to the team as needed.
Applicants should have experience in an admin role and excellent customer service skills. You will require exceptional communication, organisational and written skills, and should be a proactive and creative thinker. You must be proficient in using Word and Excel, with experience of using databases.
The part-time hours (22.5) can be worked as 3 full days or shorter days across the week. Some flexibility is required for occasional evenings or Saturday working.
