As a Carers Hospital Support Co-Ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and supporting carers who’s relative, friend or neighbour is in hospital or receiving treatment at either the Royal London Hospital or the Homerton Hospital. You will be responsible for coordinating vital services, offering guidance, and creating a supportive environment to help carers cope with the challenges they may face whilst their cared-for is in hospital.
Responsibilities:

Identification and Support: Proactively identify carers of patients admitted to, either the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel or the Homerton Hospital in Hackney, and provide them with tailored support, ensuring their well-being is prioritised.

Information and Guidance: Offer information about available hospital resources, support services, and community networks to assist carers effectively.

Communication Liaison: Facilitate communication between clinical staff and carers, ensuring they are kept informed about the patient's condition, treatment plan, and discharge process.

Fundraising Supporter Development Coordinator
About the role
CUF equips people and churches to build just and flourishing communities where they live, so everyone across England can access support when they need it most.
Our fundraising team is a valued part of this, and as our supporter development coordinator, you will coordinate campaigns, direct marketing appeals and other supporter communications, using fundraising best practice, to maximise Church Urban Fund’s income for all components of individual and church giving. This role will report to the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Job Description
Location: Hybrid: Office base is in London with expectation for a minimum of one day per week in the office (The Foundry, 17 Oval Way, Vauxhall, London, SE11 5RR)

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Recruiting new individual supporters through on- and off-line channels, and by identifying prospects from within CUF’s connected audiences;
· Increasing lifetime support from existing individual givers through appeals, feedback pieces, and other engagement mechanisms;

- Oversee the case management of Outreach Workers and other staff.
- Coordinate our response to migrant street homelessness and our specialist roles.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Local Authority, other homeless services and housing providers.
- Have the opportunity to support the Service Manager in collating information for reporting to demonstrate the themes and issues the team face.
Flexibility is essential as you will be expected to work outside of your normal working hours when required, covering shifts that include early mornings, nights and weekends.

The Role
In this role your main focus would be supporting the service users within your caseload and in close partnership with the Forward Leeds Street Support Team, existing Recovery Coordinators, York Street health Practice health care workers and clinical Prescribers to build recovery capital for those who are register at York Street Health Practice and present with substance misuse issues are homeless or have no fixed abode.
The primary focus of the role is to support vulnerable adults to build stability and work towards recovery from substance misuse issues and all related concerns. As stated above the role is primary based at York Street Health Practice but is also closely linked and integrated with their Active recovery Team based at the Forward Leeds Kirkgate Hub.

Key Purpose:
The Business Development team leads and co-ordinates pilot service projects for RABI and runs the mental health training programme.
This role would include helping facilitate the day-to-day running of the mental health training programme and its development and expansion, as well as the integration into the new CRM system.
The role will involve an element of cross departmental working, to ensure both the smooth running of the service, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.
Implementing relevant procedures and processes, revising and facilitating continuous improvement will be key to the success of the role, with a focus on reporting and integrating the service into the CRM.

The Society
The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography and geographers. It is also a charity and a membership organisation. The Society was founded in 1830 and has been one of the most active of the learned societies ever since. It was pivotal in establishing geography as a teaching and research discipline in British universities and continues to play a key role in geographical and environmental education.
The Role
The Society is looking to appoint a new Coordinator to support the access and progression of historically under-represented students in geography. This will involve building on existing Society initiatives and actively engaging with initiatives and networks across the sector. The postholder will work with senior colleagues to shape the Society’s future investments and work in this realm. The Coordinator will work across the ‘pipeline’ of geographers from schools, through post-16 pathways, universities, and into professional practice. This will involve work with students, teachers, academics and geography professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to take forward the Society’s work in this area, which most recently has included the Geography for All project. The role is ideally suited to someone with relevant lived experience, who has the expertise and commitment to make a difference, and who can work effectively with external stakeholders to ensure opportunities are made available to all. Recognising the challenges that often come with such posts, the post-holder will be supported in this work by an advisory group and the offer of independent mentoring.

FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food from the food industry and get it to our Members - frontline charities and community groups all over the Midlands. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Last year we redistributed almost 5,794 tonnes of food from our warehouses in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. It is sorted and stored by our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers, and then redistributed to around 800 Members including food pantries and cafes, homeless shelters and drop-in centres. These local organisations turn the food into food parcels, affordable shopping and delicious meals for people of all ages. As well as food, our Members provide vital support to families and the elderly, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances and living in poverty.
Our food reaches more than 83,000 vulnerable people every week, providing 13 million meals. At the same time, we are growing our Employability Programmes to help people gain work experience, skills and jobs.
The Role
Working within a central Membership Services team, you will ensure that food stock is allocated in a safe, timely and accurate way to optimise the service provided from each of our warehouses to our community members whilst ensuring excellent customer service with members.
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Contacting and liaising with members as appropriate in relation to food orders and processing using online stock system
· Manage the allocations process to ensure all allocations are completed accurately and timely … working with the Warehouse Manager’s across all sites
· Adjusting existing membership - weights / frequency / day changes / fulfilments
To do this you will need to:-
· Understand how memberships and charging structures work and apply theses accordingly
· Monitor inbox for membership change emails
· Liaise with member and discuss cost incurred / saved
· Liaise with Warehouse Managers on scheduling/ capacity
· Update pipeline, calendar & schedule with member changes when a new member is scheduled
· Update Gladys (Stock management System) with information and fee
· Confirm with members via email any stock changes made
· Dealing with telephone and email enquiries effectively and with high standards of customer service
· Develop and maintain good, sustainable relationships with community food members
· Undertake other duties appropriate to the nature of the post as stipulated by your line manager
· Work in accordance with our Customer Services Charter and to communicate this to relevant parties
· Help deliver excellent customer service to our groups & Holiday programmes within the Midlands, ensuring that we work closely with funders and groups to deliver good quality food to all our projects
Person Specification - Skills, Qualities & Experience
Essential
- Competent in IT
- Sound numeracy skills
- Exceptional planning and organising skills, including attention to detail, an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines working with own team
- Good communication skills, including a good telephone manner, with experience of customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively, with flexible working including weekends when required
- A good knowledge of food would be desirable
