About The Role

Alongside our Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for successfully promoting our challenges to individuals, charities and corporates, with the primary aim of ensuring that monthly registration targets are met, but also with the aim of marketing Global Adventure Challenges’ services as a whole.

You will plan and deliver our digital marketing strategy, which involves, but is not limited to:

• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to individuals, charities and corporates, including but not limited to organic and paid social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid search and display advertising while adhering to deadlines
• Designing and monitoring all paid advertising, including but not limited to Meta and Google Ads
• Supporting our charity partners in their promotion of our events, including the production of marketing kits for new offers and events
• Working with our Charity Accounts Officer to create PowerPoint presentations for information evenings for our charity partners
• Managing the company website and ensuring that content is up to date, including challenge dates and itinerary details
• Writing creative copy including blog content for the website, ensuring content is optimised for search engine results
• Creating and scheduling regular marketing emails to our subscribers and charity and corporate partners using Dotdigital
• Designing and delivering all digital creative media including online challenge brochures, in addition to managing and maintaining the brochure website using WordPress. This requires a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to maintain functionality
• Creating a range of content using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to content for the GAC website and social media channels in addition to providing design support to other areas of the business

Administrative tasks

• Reporting on KPIs from various marketing campaigns including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, email sends, search engine optimisation (SEO) and other marketing streams
• Providing regular reports and analysis on website usage and trends using GA4
• Accurately reporting the expenditure of marketing campaigns
• Producing PowerPoint Presentations for information events for charities, participants and corporates
• Recording accurate stock levels of all merchandise including but not limited to cycling jerseys, trekking t-shirts and place orders with our supplier as required
• Contributing towards the design and sales of merchandise via the company’s merchandise website
• Line-managing the Marketing Officer, providing guidance and supporting them in their management of our social media channels

 Other tasks

• Developing and suggesting new marketing and client sourcing streams for the business
• Ensuring all correspondence (written and verbal) is to the highest standard
• Alongside Company Directors, implementing any new Marketing procedures that will benefit the business
• Any other duties as and when required under instruction from the Directors.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience in a digital marketing role, including SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
• Strong knowledge of website analytics tools including GA4 for tracking website performance
• Proven track record in allocating and managing budgets on paid channels, including Google and Meta Ads
• Experience managing WordPress websites, with basic HTML and CSS skills
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create image and video content (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects whilst still meeting deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to potential roadblocks
• Up-to-date with the latest developments in the digital marketing industry

Having begun as a two-person part time project with the modest goal to development of some resources to support listening practices, the School for Synodality has grown to become a hub of encouragement and support around synodal practices within the Church in England and Wales and an important voice in the international conversation about the implementation of synodality. This growth has necessitated stronger working partnerships, growing our capacity and systems. To ensure the limited capacity of our directors is best utilised we’re looking for an operations manager to join are team to support smooth running of the project and development of its vision. 

The School for Synodality Operations Manager will be central to the operational and administrative functions of the School for Synodality, including overseeing the work of the Administrator and Communications Specialist and supporting projects and partnerships with diocese, local church communities and other stakeholders across the Church. The role requires someone who understands the Catholic Church and is committed to fostering collaboration for the vision of the School for Synodality. 

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a remote, flexible context and working alongside part time staff and volunteers with limited capacity.

Job Purpose

As Project Manager for the BSR registers you will ensure the continued success of BSR’s biologics and biosimilars registers and support BSR’s Registers and Research Committee. This role requires someone who is highly organised with a keen eye for detail, strong financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders from across a range of different sectors.

About the BSR registers: The BSR registers are a vital source of rheumatology data, which we encourage the rheumatology community to access and analyse for research purposes. BSR’s three active patient registers covering rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis are open for recruitment. Our ankylosing spondylitis register, although closed for recruitment, is available to access for academic research and is contributing data to research questions coming out of the EuroSpA research collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

Management of the BSR registers

• Hold overall responsibility for management of the BSR registers including all legal, contractual and financial matters
• Work with BSR’s delivery partners and registers funders to ensure that contracts, protocols and other agreements are implemented, upheld and administered effectively
• With support from the Head of Publishing and Director of Practice and Quality, negotiate, agree and manage contractual agreements with partners and funders
• Proactively and diplomatically manage contractual and legal risks and issues as they arise
• Ensure the rights and obligations of the BSR (including intellectual property rights and patients’ data protection rights) are upheld and met
• Monitor emerging issues and changes to policy and regulatory frameworks that impact BSR registers, ensuring that colleagues and partners receive timely updates and that BSR responds promptly, ethically, and transparently

Relationship Management and Communications

• Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with BSR’s delivery partners and funders
• Support the delivery partners to maximise recruitment to the BSR registers
• Oversee and facilitate communications about the registers between BSR, partners, funders and stakeholders
• Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders, including regulatory and oversight bodies
• Collaborate with BSR’s communications team to drive registers awareness and engagement and develop content for social media, website and member communications
• Collaborate with other BSR teams to ensure joined up working, share good practice and evidence

Management of BSR’s Registers and Research Committee

• Provide secretariat to the BSR Registers and Research Committee through organising three meetings per year, preparing agendas and papers, note and minute taking and managing the committee membership, working closely with BSR’s membership team
• Support the Committee to develop and deliver its workplan

About You

The Central Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Central Operations Manager with administrative support for the Society, which includes finance administration, membership and grants administration and journal sales processing. There is also a requirement for the postholder to support with some facilities management and office support activities.
The postholder will contribute to and support the Central Operations Manager and the Chief Operations Officer in the delivery of all of the Trustee Board’s strategic objectives and particularly in relation to long-term sustainability by maximising cost savings and efficiencies.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

The External Training Manager will work with internal subject matter experts to develop and implement our programme of external training which is aimed at building knowledge of older people’s options when experiencing financial hardship.

Our training is aimed at professionals and trusted intermediaries working in the commercial, statutory and not for profit sectors. Our ambition is for everyone who works with older people to know what older people may be entitled to, how to support them to claim and where to get further help. 

You should have extensive experience of designing and delivering training to a range of audiences, along with experience of developing resources and of training evaluation. Knowledge of how to ensure training is inclusive and accessible, along with excellent communication and relationship building skills is essential. Prior knowledge of financial hardship topics relating to older people is not required, as you will be working with subject matter experts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As part of a small, dynamic team of five, including the Associate Director of Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, and two Communications and Digital Marketing Officers, and a PR consultant the postholder will play a central role in enhancing our digital presence, delivering results-focused campaigns, and supporting the broader communications and fundraising goals of Response.

Lead the planning, implementation, and optimisation of paid and organic social media campaigns.

Work collaboratively to identify target audiences and create tailored, impactful content to engage potential donors, key stakeholders, including commissioners, potential new employees and those who may benefit from our services.

Oversee  the creation of compelling, high-quality content that demonstrates the impact of Response’s work, using lived experience stories, case studies, and data-driven insights.

Oversee the management of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others, ensuring consistency with brand messaging.

Identify and develop opportunities to grow digital fundraising, leveraging paid social media campaigns, crowdfunding, and other tools.

Educated to degree-Level or CRM or equivalent experience.

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and trends, including paid social, SEO, and email marketing best practices.

Experience managing social media platforms, including community management and performance optimisation.

Experience managing the design and production of marketing materials, with proficiency in tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to write persuasively for diverse audiences.

This is a vital role as we seek to deepen and expand connections with the College’s alumni community. The Alumni Engagement Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of an alumni and supporter engagement strategy which aims to build relationships with alumni and donors to lead to greater involvement with the College through the giving of funds, time and expertise. As the Events Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering diverse, exciting, and high-impact events aimed at raising vital funds to support the charity work. From skydives challenges to gala dinners and football events, you’ll be responsible for designing, delivering, and monitoring an innovative events programme to meet income and engagement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate fundraising events, ensuring they achieve their financial and engagement goals.
• Build lasting relationships with supporters, creating a positive donor journey and ensuring excellent stewardship throughout.
• Work alongside  the Charity Team, Communications, Finance, and HR departments, as well as volunteers and to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Secure event sponsorships from corporates and partners, ensuring event success through strategic partnerships.
• Develop and implement safety measures for events, ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation.
• Recruit, train, and deploy volunteers to support event execution, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
• Work with the Communications team to produce content for social and traditional media to maximise event exposure.

About You:

• Experience: You’ll have a proven background in event management, ideally within the charity sector. Experience in fundraising, managing event budgets, securing sponsorships, and working with volunteers is essential.
• Skills: Excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A strong understanding of health and safety, fundraising legislation, and donor stewardship is vital.

Salary: starting salary is £37,338 - £42k
