This is a newly created position to provide additional support to the expanding FICS team. Key Responsiblities:
General Administrative Support:
- Monitor shared email inboxes – acting as first point of contact for external enquiries and logging, fielding, and actioning requests as appropriate.
- Maintain organised documentation for programme activities, including meeting notes, contracts, and correspondence within our cloud-based filing systems.
- Help keep membership/contact information updated within the CRM.
- Support team travel plans including transport, accommodation, and visa arrangements.
- Occasional assistance with scheduling of meetings.
Finance Administration:
- Look after the day-to-day processing of invoices, credit card statements, expenses, and advisory fee payments.
- Assist in monitoring expenses according to allocated budgets.
- Assist with the drafting and processing of contracts for consultancies.
Event Administration:
- Help organise events, workshops, or meetings related to the programmes (most of these are online).
- Coordinate logistics, including Zoom bookings, participant registration, interpretation and translation arrangements, supporting the coordination of speakers and participants, access needs.
- Assist during online events with light tech and administrative support.
- For occasional in-person events, assist with venue booking, catering and travel arrangements and risk assessments.
- Assist with the preparation of emails, presentations, and other materials related to events.

Role Purpose
To create and maintain an effective wholistic service to the Community of 9 Religious Sisters resident in a single property in Colchester.
To establish and maintain effective services and standards including administration and record keeping, for the individual Sisters and for the smooth running and upkeep of the house.
To ensure healthcare assessments of Sisters needs are undertaken and that direct payments for their care are negotiated with the local authority, together with any further allowances to which they are entitled.
To and create a warm, comfortable and safe environment for the Sisters, offering flexibility and a range of support and care, enabling them to live their lives as safely, comfortably and independently as they can, with staff in place to support them.
To liaise with the Sisters in the Community and to work alongside them in creating and maintaining a happy, safe and welcoming home which provides high levels of support and care.
Principal Duties:
A Health and Wellbeing: Main tasks
· appointing, leading, training and co-ordinating a team of carers to provide adequate and appropriate 24/7 care
· preparing staff rotas and leading staff meetings as and when needed.
· facilitating the health and wellbeing of the sisters as requested by:
o Making health related appointments and driving/arranging transport for Sisters to and from such appointments.
o Accompanying residents to appointments and undertaking hospital visits as required, in agreement with the Community. Or allocating another carer to do the same
o Arranging for visits from medical and health professional visits (eg: District nurses, care staff, Physiotherapy etc.) as required.
o ensuring Sisters who are unwell are provided with meals in their rooms if required
o sitting with Sisters and read to them and help with email and personal correspondence, if requested.
o Being aware of any changing needs and circumstances in Sister’s health and wellbeing and agree and arrange for additional support to meet the particular needs of the Sisters.
o As requested, providing additional personal support to a Sister who may have a health concern requiring additional help. This might on occasion, include some help with dressing and personal care.
o helping the Sisters with use of technology as requested including helping with emails and finding things online.
o encouraging and assisting those community members who want to be involved in gardening or any other activity.
B In conjunction with the Community Operations manager:
· To ensure that high levels of cleanliness are maintained, working with the contract cleaners.
· To liaise with the individuals providing those services if any changes or additional tasks are required.
· To understand and assist with all health and safety requirements and statutory obligations, in relation to the buildings and contents of the premises.
· To act on and record any accidents and safety concerns in a timely manner.
C Domestic needs:
· To assist with the Sisters’ laundry as and when they require it.
· To ensure all curtains and bedlinen are cleaned and replaced when needed, as agreed by the Sisters.
· To ensure household equipment is maintained in accordance with legislation and needs and discuss and agree any replacement or additional equipment when required.
D Meals
· to employ and oversee kitchen/cooking staff as needed to ensure all meal and dietary requirements are met
· To undertake shopping for household requirements where required.
· To set up online shopping for the Sisters, liaising with them about their needs and helping them with this.
E General
· To facilitate the best use of the building for the Sister’s welfare and undertake practical tasks in relation to this as required.
· To ensure cover for all services is provided at all times and that the community is aware of any cover arrangements.
· To assist with the organisation of occasional events and funerals at the request of the Sisters.
· If requested, to make arrangements for refreshments for individuals, groups and meetings.
· To undertake any other duties that can reasonably be required of the role.
Personal Requirements:

As Scientific and Patient Information Manager, you will work in the Medical Education and Scientific Engagement team at Myeloma Patients Europe. Under the Department Head and MPE Leadership Team, you will oversee the following projects and activities:
European Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis Clinical Trial Navigator Management (Approximately 50%)
MPE has developed an online clinical trial search tool of European myeloma and AL amyloidosis clinical trials for patients and advocates (https:// navigator.mpeurope. org/en). This role will be responsible for the management, improvement, and promotion of this core MPE programme, including:
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate database of all industry and academic recruiting myeloma, AL amyloidosis, MGUS, and smouldering myeloma clinical trials in Europe
- Liaise with industry and academic clinical trial sponsors, clinical trial sites, and other stakeholders to maintain database up-to-date
- Liaise with web developers to manage the Navigator website, make enhancements, and fix technical issues
- Oversee implementation of translated materials in multiple languages
- Elicit feedback from patients, family members, clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure continued improvement and enhancements
- Manage website news and content
Patient Education Management (Approximately 40%)
A key role of MPE is providing up-to-date, comprehensive, and patient friendly educational materials and tools for our members and the patient community, as well as communicating about advances in myeloma and AL amyloidosis. This role will be responsible for working across MPE to develop an educational plan and develop and deliver resources including:
- Perform efficient scientific watch (monitoring advancements in research and clinical development)
- In coordination with the Head of Medical Education and Scientific Engagement, as well as other department Heads (Patient Research, Access and Policy, Communication, Capacity Building and Advocacy), develop and prioritise a patient educational plan based on member and patient needs, scientific advances and cross-department projects
- Research, write, and develop patient education materials including factsheets, Q&As, webinars, infographics, news stories and social media content related to clinical and scientific updates
- Attending (in person or virtually) scientific congresses and developing conference and scientific meeting summaries, organising post-conference webinars for patients in collaboration with the Communication department
- Manage the execution of educational materials from conception to publication in coordination with Department Head, other MPE departments, and external stakeholders (key opinion leaders, proofreaders etc.)
Patient and member support (Approximately 5%)
- Answer medical and scientific inquiries from patients, carers and MPE members
- Seek information by liaising with appropriate stakeholders (industry, academia, MPE Medical Advisory Committee)
- Build good relationships with MPE’s members
Other 5% - staff meetings, annual events, support the rest of the team with clinical and scientific information.
About you

- A Bachelor’s or a Master’ s degree in a relevant scientific field
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience (and tested during the interview process) of writing and communicating scientific/complex information for lay audiences across different media

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager focusing on our Outreach support across the Northwest. This purpose of this role is to manage and maintain high levels of service delivery. You will directly oversee four Coordinators. About the role and the London Adult Service:
The London Adult Service is a transformational service which aims to provide end-to-end support and casework to victims and witnesses of crime in London. The service is funded by the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and is a key part of the London criminal justice landscape. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our external interface with our stakeholders. The role will be home-based, but attendance at our London office may sometimes be required for meetings.
As a Digital Engagement and Partnerships Manager you'll:
- Promote the London adult digital services to encourage referrals into the service.
- Oversee the implementation of key digital initiatives, working with partners to ensure a joined up user journey.

Our full Maths and English programme builds on the positive habits fostered by our reading log. About the Role
There are 1.4 million primary-aged children growing up in poverty in the UK, and we are currently only working with a fraction of them. We have grown rapidly over the last few years and are now looking to grow our Fundraising team to the next level.
The Fundraising and Communications Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team to deliver Learning with Parents’ fundraising strategy. Their primary focus will be strengthening our existing funding pipeline through prospects research and managing the donor database. They will also be responsible for drafting compelling applications and reports for new and existing donors. They will develop and adapt our fundraising resources and provide wider support to the team.
The Fundraising and Communications Officer will also be responsible for managing Learning with Parents external communications, including creating and posting engaging blogs and social media posts, drafting the Annual Impact Report and managing the organisation’s brand guidelines.

Job Purpose
Reporting to our PR Lead, the PR Manager will play a crucial role raising the profile of Save the Children UK amongst key target audiences, by developing and delivering projects that command media attention and coverage.

Strategy and Project Management

The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.
Key Areas
Marketing and stewardship
- Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
- Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
- Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
- Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
- Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
- Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
- Create and send email marketing campaigns.
- Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
- Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.
- Increase engagement and communications across relevant social media groups.
Relationship management
- Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.
- Understand each individual partner’s ways of working, their individual tone of voice and organisational visions and ensure these are implemented across the partnership.
- Coordinate project groups, communications and meetings, working with various teams within all parties to plan and schedule activities.
Reporting and analysis
- Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant.
- Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
- Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
- Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
- Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.
General
- Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice.
- Identify new trends and scope out new product development.
- Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.
- Help identify and build relationships with relevant celebrities or influencers to contribute to the Women V Cancer marketing strategy
- Work alongside charity partners to develop supporter journeys for a series of UK and Overseas events which will increase conversion, average gift and retention.
- Identifying high value fundraisers and create a specific supporter journey for these individuals.
Personal Specification
Essential:
- Strong project management skills: a logical and thorough planner with the determination to see tasks through to completion.
- Experience in charity stewardship and increasing fundraising on live events.
- Experience in marketing events and recruiting participants.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to understand and marry up different priorities.
- Experience with partnership working, ideally across organisations.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to communicate with MDs, charity representatives and individuals taking part in events.
- Third Sector experience in a fundraising or supporter facing role.
- Confident in engaging with supporters who may be vulnerable.
- Excellent time management skills: able to manage a wide and varied workload, prioritising key tasks and ensuring that deadlines are always met.
- Ambition and determination, both personally for your own professional development and for the organisation.
- Knowledge of marketing avenues, including digital and out of home marketing and techniques to enhance and track performance.
- Experience of working with various social media channels.
- Experience of delivering events or supporting on delivery of events.
Desirable
- Basic knowledge of the charities involved and what they do.
