As Charity Director, you’ll be working in a multi-cultural environment supporting vulnerable people with limited English across Kingston, Hounslow and Richmond. Our client group includes refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, and our volunteer-led services support them to learn English and gain access to vital local services, including housing, education, healthcare.We provide a ‘blended’ service for our clients which includes in-person and on-line support as well as class-based teaching, all of which is dedicated to helping those with the lowest language skills to progress into volunteering, education and work.

LEAH has experienced a period of growth, having doubled its staff team across the last 5 years to meet demand for our services. We have no shortage of clients, a strong and enthusiastic volunteer base and a dedicated and experienced staff team.

LEAH is at an exciting time, and we are aiming to expand our service impact and reach across London.  The new Director will lead the development of the new 2025-28 strategic plan which will be the key to our future development and success.

This is an exciting opportunity to support and develop the work of the Christian Funders’ Forum (CFF).  We are looking for an experienced coordinator with excellent relationship skills to continue to support and grow the membership of the CFF to enable the group to deliver on its mission to live and share Christ’s love through supporting each other and serving the Christian charitable sector.

With experience at Board level, they must be comfortable with presenting to Boards and with the ability to develop strategy and present business plans.

Previous experience of the gallery and museum sector would be desirable but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from candidates with commercial, charitable and private sector backgrounds. The role:

• Providing sound financial advice and management to the Directorates. Including reviewing business cases, papers to Governance Committees and policy proposals, to ensure that the financial implications have been properly considered, are affordable and recommendations reflect good Value for Money.
• Presenting financial information to Senior Management Teams on a regular basis. Communicating complex financial issues to internal and external stakeholders, enabling individuals with little financial knowledge to understand key messages.
• Understanding the business - Developing a full understanding of the policies and cost drivers of the Directorates' spend ensuring they are managed and monitored effectively to meet business plans and objectives.
• Leading on month-end and year-end activities, working autonomously to ensure that the management information for your area of responsibility is accurate and correct.
• Challenging and supporting Directors and Budget Managers in managing spend on a portfolio basis. Recognising potential risk and opportunities and identifying solutions to manage them.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified Accountant.

• Significant experience in communicating complex financial issues to enable individuals with little financial knowledge to understand the key messages.

The Head of Finance will lead the finance team, ensuring robust financial management and sustainability to support our charitable objectives. With responsibility for a team of five you will lead and provide statutory, financial and management accounting, including all financial planning and analysis, for the Football Foundation (Foundation) and the Premier League Stadium Fund.

The role:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organisation’s visions e.g. treasury management, developing long term cashflow strategies to maximise returns to the organisation.
• Lead and work with the SMT, Management Group, PMO Lead, and Data & Insight team to create and maintain financial and cost models to support the development and finalisation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, focusing on the relationship between services, resources, and productivity.
• Work with the CFO in preparing and presenting the consolidated budget and plan to the SMT and ARG Committee.
• Develop high level models to support strategic and operational decision making, e.g. assessment of financial sustainability of grant applications and monthly reporting to funders in line with contractual obligations.
• Continue the development and transitioning of the finance team from a mainly transactional team to a team providing forwarding looking information. Enhance collaborative decision making through improved business partnering and transparent reporting.
• Ensure all legal entities comply with relevant legislation and prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT, Charity Commission, and other statutory financial returns as appropriate.

Essential criteria:

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualified financial and operational management experience.
• Proven experience at a senior level in a finance role with responsibility across the entire finance function, including hands on experience in delivering business partnering.
• Knowledge of the legislative, tax and regulatory framework of companies, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
• Leading an end-to-end external audit process.
• Developing/improving and implementing financial procedures and controls.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The Senior Programme Development Specialist  will work on complex and major bids, often on multimillion consortia, commercial contracts and multi-country partnerships, and will be expected to take a high degree of responsibility for developing successful bids including negotiations with internal and external partners. 

This position will drive a high-quality bidding process with institutional donors and large foundations to build a healthy and sustainable funding pipeline so that CIUK can achieve our programme goals. You will work closely with technical advisory teams, country offices, finance colleagues, and other partners in order to deliver winning bids, which showcase CARE’s programme innovation and deliver impact as well as ensuring adequate cost recovery for CIUK.

Work as part of the Student Voice Team to embed campaigning and organising across all areas of our work ensuring that students from every segment of the membership are empowered to make change through campaigns. Enable our communities (Academic Associations, Liberation Networks and Student Representatives) to grow and develop into effective representative bodies.

Responsibilities include:

Growing, planning & delivering KCLSU campaigns

• Provide resources, support and mentoring to student officers and student campaigners, utilising digital and offline organising models of engagement, to support them to develop hard-hitting and effective campaigns.
• Coordinate and work with KCLSU teams to support representatives and members in delivering their campaigns and communicate the impact of campaigning at KCLSU, building interest and recruiting new activists as a result.
• Deliver a range of approaches to student voice engagement, developing diverse methods of participation and innovative practices for facilitating student decision-making, co-creation, and capturing insight.
• Work with external organisations to lead on KCLSU involvement in local, national and NUS campaigns.
• Responsible for measuring and reporting the impact of our campaigns.

Developing Student Representative Communities

• Support Networks, Academic Associations and Campaign groups on-going growth and development, supporting them to build inclusive, active, and intersectional student-led communities.
• Engage with representatives through coaching, building relationships and providing support as they develop and deliver their campaigning and organising agenda.
• Ensure participation in representation is accessible and inclusive, identifying and removing barriers to engagement particularly for low participation groups.

Leadership Development

• Create and deliver training, guidance and ongoing support for Student Officers, Student Representatives and Academic Associations, equipping students with the knowledge and skills that enable them to thrive in their role and feel empowered to grow as community leaders.

With 1.1 million current members contributing over £95m to the charity’s cause in 2024, the RSPB has set itself a bold ambition to increase supporter numbers and net income from this core area.

Working closely with the Executive Director for Income and Conservation Investment and other senior stakeholders across RSPB, the Director of Supporter Fundraising will ensure that the organisation maintains and increases its income in membership, individual giving, legacies, in memoriam and community fundraising. The role will be responsible for a large team working to develop new strategies and to engage and grow a diverse supporter base, enabling the charity to inspire long-term support and active engagement with their work.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing a large and complex individual giving or subscription programme across multiple products and channels. They will also have demonstrable experience of leading successful organisational transformation to create long-term value, as well as of leading projects within a complex stakeholder or matrix management environment. Significant experience in individual supporter fundraising or consumer marketing through direct marketing techniques will be essential.

As a leader, the successful candidate will have strong collaboration skills with the ability to inspire, develop and motivate teams to achieve challenging goals in a variety of contexts. They will also be able to use their networking and interpersonal skills to build excellent internal and external relationships and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. KCLSU is looking for a Student Voice Coordinator work within the Student Voice team to coordinate the development and delivery of representation practices, and embed these processes across KCLSU’s Community Engagement Department and our student voice partnership work with King’s College London. This will be focused on Student Futures, a large-scale transformation portfolio King’s College London is undertaking.

Student Futures aims to improve student experiences in key areas across the next three years. These areas include improving core processes and systems for education delivery; ensuring the university is able to provide proactive and personalised support for student wellbeing; and delivering a distinct, valuable extra and co-curricular student experience.
At times, the post-holder will also be required to support other King’s Transformation Office programmes, such as Campus Futures, which is overseeing the development of King’s campus spaces and facilities in the next few years.

This role is funded for the next three years, the planned timeline of the Student Futures portfolio, and is offered as a 3-year fixed-term contract.

Job Specification
ENHANCING REPRESENTATIVE PROCESSES
• Act as central point of contact for colleagues across King’s and KCLSU for centralising and sharing information about student voice and representation structures related to Transformation Office projects;
• Set up and oversee systems for the management of student representative data between KCLSU and various King’s project teams;
• Ensure that all areas of student representative recruitment, induction, and support are conducted smoothly;
• Record student attendance and other participation data to support evaluation processes and ensure appropriate remuneration;
• Support the payment of remuneration and/or incentives to student participants where required, working with the KCLSU Finance and relevant King’s teams to ensure this is appropriately administered and recorded.

ORGANISING REPRESENTATION PRACTICES
• Lead on the practical organisation of Student Futures representation practices – calendar management, room booking, procuring materials, etc.;
• Liaise with KCLSU and King’s College London colleagues across a range of teams to ensure smooth operational delivery;
• Provide support with other Transformation Office representation practices where necessary.

DATA & COMMUNICATIONS
• Support the Policy & Research Coordinator with the capture and analysis of datasets relating to the student experience, including data from relevant representation practices;
• Contribute to the scrutiny of evidence, trends, and datasets to identify to identify insight relevant to key Student Futures projects;
• Contribute to student-facing communications related to Student Futures and other Transformation Office programmes as relevant, including updating KCLSU webpages
