Emmaus Oxford is looking for a Charity retail Deputy Store Manager to join our retail management team running our large charity superstore in Cowley Oxford. Emmaus provides housing support and meaning occupation in our social enterprise to up to 28 ex-homeless men and women [known in Emmaus as Companions].  As well as providing retail management the role also involves coaching and training companions and working closely with our team of Progression Workers and Learning & Development Manager. Emmaus collects donations of furniture and household goods from across Oxfordshire and these are sold in our superstore in Cowley and through our online sales business. Proceeds from sales make a major contribution towards our housing & support service. This is a part time role working 22.5 hrs. [3 days] a week and may involve some weekend working and key holding responsibility. Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a 21st century youth hub located at the heart of Blackburn and a dedicated site in Darwen, open to young people aged 5 to 25 years old, aiming to change the prospects offered to young people in the area. Our vision is to be at the heart of the community, collaborating to create a more cohesive and prosperous Blackburn and Darwen.

We are one of the leading youth organisations in Blackburn, with a membership of over 2,500 young people. We are open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year and offer over 40 different activities and opportunities in our open access youth club.

Context of Role:

The Youth Club Coordinator role is a crucial role within our mission of making sure B&DYZ is “the Number One Service for young people”. You will be responsible for the coordination, leadership, planning and delivery of Darwen Youth Zone Youth Club provision for young people aged 13 to 19 years (21 with a disability). Working positively, collaboratively and at pace with an enthusiastic and energetic youth work team, you will ensure our programme and offer for young people is of high quality, meets the needs of every young person in Blackburn with Darwen and ensures our offer reflects and exceeds on the wishes, needs and views of young people.

You will hold line management responsibility seeking to ensure that there is strong evidence of effective performance in line with our vision, mission, values and strategic objectives. The role will require you to have previous experience within a youth work setting and strong evidence of excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities:

Service:

• To ensure that the offer for young people is the best possible service, ensuring there is a diverse range of activities that create opportunities and encourage young people to participate and have a go at new things.
• To work towards agreed targets including attendance, participation, progression, impact and evaluation and key performance indicators.
• Ensure the programmes meet the needs of existing and new members, engages a diverse range of young people from across BwD and support their active participation and promote their retention
• Maintain a good understanding of the young people we work with, their issues and challenges and the complexities of delivering in a large open access setting through direct work with young people during sessions and through good communication with the team.
• To ensure that the youth work delivery is carried out in a planned, systematic coordinated way and evaluated.

Working hours

This role is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week which requires a flexible working pattern and you will be expected to work evenings and weekends. You will also be expected to travel to different venues/locations.

As part of the wider Enterprise team, our Commercial Marketing Assistant will help devise and deliver marketing campaigns and strategies that will grow audiences and increase revenues across our key commercial income streams. The successful candidate will oversee, coordinate, and manage our commercial marketing channels concentrating on finding and developing new partnerships alongside the Head of Enterprise, marketing and promoting our major sites for partnership working with external organisations.

They will:

1. Assist in the production of marketing collateral and material for the B2B market and the promotion of the Champing brand.

2. Work alongside the Communications team to assist in drafting content and key messages for social media, websites and PR, all of which should adhere to CCT brand guidelines. Handle incoming commercial marketing enquiries as appropriate.

3. Liaise with prospective filming enquiries and work with the local teams to help deliver commercial filming contracts.

4. Build positive working relationships, with internal and external stakeholders, to build on existing opportunities, promote and drive engagement with commercial opportunities.

5. Conduct marketing and audience research, to help support and deliver future revenue growth and gather data to report against KPIs and targets.

The division has ambitious growth for our retail channels and our individual donor supporters in the next five years.

How you will make a difference

Your role will enable inclusive, empowering and efficient people operations workflows at GFI Europe. Reporting to the Head of Operations, your work will fall under the following categories:

• Manage the People Operations function, including line managing two team members.
• Develop an inclusive, empowering and engaging People Operations strategy that ensures best practices around management principles, professional development, diversity, equity and inclusion, and other aspects of a healthy culture are adopted.
• Track team morale and culture by coordinating team engagement surveys and by listening to team members’ needs from when they join the organisation and all along their employee journey with us, taking steps where necessary to improve the employee experience.
• Be the main contact person for the GFI Europe team to discuss HR-related needs or concerns.
• Oversee solid HR management by:

You must have:

Benefits and the fine print

• Terms of employment: Full-time (38 hours/week), flexible working hours.

For reference, full-time range (total amounts received in gross salary plus benefits including home-working allowance) would be for:

The Policy and Public Affairs (PAPA) team is part of the Strategy and Knowledge Directorate at the NSPCC. The Directorate exists to help shape the world around us – and what the NSPCC does – so that it reflects what we have learned and can help keep children safe from abuse. The PAPA team develops and holds the NSPCC’s positions on key public policy issues and harnesses these to influence policy makers and external stakeholders across the UK. The PAPA team’s strategic focus is divided into five ‘workstreams’: child protection and children’s social care; early years; child sexual abuse; online safety; supporting young victims and witnesses.

We are now seeking a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer to play a leading role in the online safety workstream to ensure legislative and policy frameworks in England and the UK are fit for purpose in preventing online abuse and harm to children.

You will join the team at a crucial moment for children in the UK and help us make the case for strong and ambitious regulation and legislation to ensure every child is safe online.

The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer will lead the development of new policy positions and delivery of public affairs strategies to achieve regulatory, policy and legal change which tackles abuse and harm to children online. This will involve evidence-based policy development, being responsible for thematic policy areas, and playing a key role in forming and delivering public affairs and influencing strategies.

You’ll be able to demonstrate that you can hit the ground running and deliver high impact policy outputs and public affairs initiatives to ensure the NSPCC delivers real change in the best interests of children and continues to be seen as a credible and authoritative voice on online harms.

LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. Job Purpose

This is a new role, joining a small and growing Fundraising Team, with responsibility for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, grant-making trusts, and corporate supporters, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

You will build and maintain lasting relationships with LMKs valued funders, thinking strategically and working closely with programme delivery colleagues to develop fundraising cases of support and impact reporting.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Development, the successful candidate will join LMK’s core staff team, and will have a real input into our plans and strategies for the future by working with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board and trustees to develop and implement our long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities:

● Develop and deliver a structured and dynamic plan to engage high-value donors, trusts and corporate supporters.

You'll oversee the delivery of corporate partnerships, producing and executing a strategy for growth, whilst ensuring our delivery plans are achievable.

You'll oversee new business activity, playing a leading role in high value solicitations to secure new corporate partnerships that deliver both strategic and cash value. You'll manage the corporate partnerships team to achieve the overall strategy, monitoring performance against clear objectives.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience of securing high-value, strategic corporate partnerships that deliver commercial value to companies.
• Proven experience of developing and implementing annual strategies and plans.
• An understanding of trends and developments across the commercial sector and experience of applying these to successful corporate partnerships.
• Experience of management of staff.

Are you ready to join our team?   As the Church Building Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in this exciting new position that will provide a comprehensive support service to clergy, churchwardens and parish volunteers; offering advice and guidance on caring for church buildings, navigating faculty jurisdiction and signposting to relevant resources and further support.

There is also the option (subject to conditions) to undertake an Apprenticeship with Strode College to complete Historic Environment Advice Assistant (Higher Apprenticeship).

The role is funded by the Church of England’s Buildings for Mission fund on a two-year fixed-term basis.

Position: Church Building Support Officer

Responsible to: The DAC Secretary. The Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches (DAC)

Location: Hybrid working is offered to all staff. We have an office in Old Alresford, SO24 with a requirement to come into the office for department team days, once a week.

The Diocese covers the areas from Bournemouth and Andover in the West, Southampton and Lyndhurst in the South, Alton and Odiham in the East and Basingstoke in the North.

Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time), core hours of 10am–4pm

Salary: £31,181 per annum

Annual leave and benefits:

• 25 days annual leave (not including bank holidays)

• Employer contribution of 10% of basic annual salary into our pension scheme.
