About this job:
As Systems Accountant, you’ll:

• lead on the development and enhancement of Unit 4 ERPx, functioning as system administration and SUPER-user,
• work closely with various internal stakeholders (particularly the IT team) to ensure integration between existing systems and Unit 4 ERPx, building strong relationships with leaders to ensure the system meets requirements,
• be the main point of contact with the system supplier, responsible for ensuring both the smooth-running of the system and continuous improvement,
• be a problem solver, proactively identifying system gaps and working to resolve them in the most efficient way,
• build reports based on business requirements, ensuring decision-makers have financial reporting that provides meaningful insights and recommendations.

About you:
To excel in this role, you'll need extensive hands-on experience with the Unit 4 ERPx system, with a thorough understanding of its demands, capabilities, risks, and opportunities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be cultivating relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, taking a diplomatic and empathetic approach. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial accounting system processes and management are also crucial. A commitment to, and empathy for, the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust is vital.

As the Head of Partnerships and Strategy, you will support the Board in its development of organisational objectives and strategy. You will champion our highly regarded trauma informed advocacy and psychotherapy services and ensure appropriate clinical governance processes are in place. You will also work in collaboration with Bild to continue to develop the Respond branded training and consultation service and develop key stakeholder relationships within the sector, enhancing Responds reputation, encouraging partnership working and supporting the diversification of income generation.

UK-Med is a humanitarian NGO that has been responding to disasters for over thirty years. We prepare and equip medical teams, both in the UK and worldwide, so they are ready to respond when epidemics, conflict and natural disasters hit. When Ebola struck West Africa in 2014 we recruited and trained UK doctors and nurses who helped local medical teams and other NGOs to bring the outbreak under control. We are core partners, providing the clinical component and key support structures of the UK Emergency Medical Team (UK EMT) in line with WHO standards.

We are recruiting a Logistics Manager who will provide leadership across UK EMT partners in ensuring effective logistics arrangements for UK EMT deployment of health facilities including the Type 2 field hospital. Our ideal candidate will bring significant experience of providing logistics support in the humanitarian sector (expected to be at least 5 years) including in insecure environments. You will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to bring together people from a range of organisations, cultures and perspectives into a coherent team.

Promotional Activities:

We are delighted to be recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced and influential Fundraising Manager to be a key contributor in ensuring we continue to transform young lives through sailing and other opportunities.

As a member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for managing the Fundraising Team in Poole and directing the activities of those in other ASF locations to generate income against set targets and develop new income streams, working collaboratively with the CEO and wider ASF team.

You will need to use your gravitas and well-developed influencing skills to nurture relationships and articulate the benefits of ASF work to key high value donors to leverage more sizeable donations. You will use your well-developed networks to further build our funding portfolio. This includes developing partnerships with corporate businesses and local communities.

Working collaboratively with the Growth and Performance Manager, The Operations Teams, Finance Manager and the Trustees you will demonstrate a proven ability to develop, write and deliver high quality applications and proposals for funding.

Planning, supporting and attending ASFs regular fundraising activities, events and dinners is a key requirement for the role.

Role Summary:

Global Health 5050 is seeking a hands-on Head of Operations to support the professional running of the charity. The successful candidate for this post is expected to play an integral role in contributing to the growth of GH5050, as well as taking a leading role in managing the day-to-day and longer-term operations of the charity.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is able to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and in the detail execution. Role Responsibilities:

● Support the leadership of GH5050 and the key organisational management decisions that need to be made for the effective growth and operations of the charity.

● Ensure effective internal communications by facilitating clear, consistent, and timely information sharing across all team members.

● Own the candidate experience of our team from recruitment to onboarding, learning & development through to performance management and reward.

● Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure legal compliance for a fair and equitable workplace, using external experts (currently Safe HR) as needed.

● Ensure the quality and effective operation of internal policies, including keeping core policies up to date, developing new policies, organising the review of existing policies.

● Maintain the risk register and monitor and deliver priority activities to mitigate risk.

● Own the implementation of a new organisation-wide programme management tool, ensuring seamless integration and securing team buy-in through effective communication and training initiatives.

● Support the Co-CEOs to engage with the board of trustees. Prepare documents for board meetings; liaise with trustees to fix dates and meetings; support the effective operation of board meetings; develop proposals for trustee engagement; take minutes of board meetings and follow-up on action points; support the recruitment and onboarding of new trustees to the board.

● Manage the operations functions including office rental agreements, our IT systems and providers, other suppliers of goods and services (insurance, HR, finance). Provide any other general operational and administrative support as appropriate, within the general scope and level of the post.

● Ensure that GH5050 complies with legal and other statutory regulations, including leading and managing Charity reporting requirements to the Charity Commission and other relevant bodies and undertakes ongoing risk assessments and proposed mitigation measures as required.

● Lead on Annual Returns to the Charity Commission in collaboration with the Finance Manager and Trustees and ensure timely and accurate reporting to HMRC.

● Work with Deputy Director and the Finance Manager on the management of the financial resources and project grants of the Charity, ensuring that all expenditure complies with funder and legal regulations.

● Direct line management of Finance Manager and Operations Executive. Support to ensure payroll, pensions, expenses, etc. are paid out in an accurate and timely manner and that new staff are enrolled in payroll / pensions etc.

Person specification: 

● Bachelors-degree qualification or relevant professional experience.

● Experience working in a similar or relevant role with a passion for the GH50/50 mission and where they can have impact.

● Experience in human resources, policy creation and GDPR.

● Experience engaging with NGO boards of trustees.

● Demonstrated proficiency in managing teams, some of whom are based remotely.

● Experience of working effectively in a team, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative professional relationships with a wide range of partners across diverse contexts, including whilst working remotely.

● Experience working independently and flexibly. An ability to manage competing priorities and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. 

● Strong familiarity with MS Excel and proficient in using a wide range of software.

Would you like to be at the centre of a major fundraising appeal improving lives for thousands of people across the UK? 

We are looking for an organised and creative Project Manager to coordinate our ongoing multi-million pound appeal. The campaign is funding specialist nurses and therapists for Parkinson’s, making a huge difference to the lives of people living with the condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition, and this work is one of the charity’s top strategic priorities for 2024 and 2025 and a crucial fundraising and communications priority.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fundraising and communications teams across the charity, including Philanthropy, Trusts, Commercial Partnerships and Special Events, with a growing focus on Individual Giving, Events, Community and Supporter Experience as the appeal builds momentum. 

We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed diverse projects, and also has experience of working in one or more of these fundraising disciplines to ensure they can hit the ground running. We’re keen to hear from people who have a proactive and problem-solving approach, and who enjoy working with lots of different people and on varied topics. 

The role will join an ambitious and supportive team coordinating projects across fundraising, and will benefit from flexible working conditions and the can-do attitude that runs through Parkinson’s UK’s Fundraising and Experience directorate. The post-holder will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues in several fundraising teams, growing their own skills and knowledge.

What you’ll do:

• Operationally plan and project manage the charity’s multi-year fundraising appeal, building systems and processes to ensure its success.

• Prepare project and campaign materials to support fundraising colleagues and volunteers with promotion and marketing, specific proposals, pitches and events.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Fundraising Directorate to identify existing and new supporters to share appeal plans and materials with

• Set and update specific targets for the appeal and track financial performance from pipeline through to banked income.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of planning and project managing fundraising appeals and campaigns (or similar complex projects), leading to achievement of goals and targets. 

• Highly organised and able to manage a range of activities across different teams, encouraging and motivating colleagues to support the project goals and creating compelling project updates and reports. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident working with key stakeholders at many levels within the charity. 

• Knowledge of key fundraising disciplines, including having worked with high value audiences or experience of digital marketing and engagement.

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was born out of the tragic story of Suzy Lamplugh, a 25-year-old estate agent who went missing whilst at work in 1986, was never found, and was eventually declared deceased in 1993. Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.
