Starting Salary - £23,412.00 per year (£12.01 per hour) with biennial increments.

Salary Enhancement -Sleep in payment of £96 per sleep and a 25% uplift on the hourly rate for weekend shifts.

About the position….

• The core tasks of a Residential Social Care Worker are to provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the residents.
• The postholder will assist with the assessments of need and formulation of plans considering the wishes, feelings and Best Interests of the residents.
• You will undertake direct work that is designed to meet the needs of agreed care plans, enabling residents to reach their full potential.
• A number of administrative hours will be spent attending meetings, supervisions/appraisals, training and annual residents reviews.
• The RSCW will also undertake activities with the residents within the community.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the work undertaken with the residents, completing written reports for planning meetings and statutory reviews.
• A part of this role is to undertake a range of domestic duties, including cooking and some cleaning ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

About the role

We are recruiting a pivotal new role in our Supporter Fundraising and Engagement Team at Freedom from Torture. The Senior Data & Insight Manager will be a huge asset to our Fundraising and Comms Directorate leading on the management of all fundraising data and delivering analytics to influence investment decisions and support engagement and income growth.

We are looking for a proactive individual to take our data team to the next level, bringing together the management of our data and CRM (ALMs and Engaging Networks predominantly), data protection and compliance, insight and reporting, testing strategies and innovation and our data transformation project.

With the support of our data services agency and line managing a Data Officer, the right candidate will have full authority delivering the data needs of the department and wider Fundraising & Communications directorate, including digital fundraising and Philanthropy & Partnerships. They will offer solutions and recommendations drawing on their personal experience, the experience gained through their peer networks and the opportunities they've seen from technical advances in the sector and beyond.

Last year we developed a KPI generator using Power BI to produce a live reporting tool. On completion it will create an invaluable easy access platform for fundraising team members to view their key performance metrics. This year we have started a Data Transformation project reviewing processes across our Fundraising & Comms and Finance teams. If appointed you have the opportunity to shape both projects, leading on implementation and systems change and ensuring we put in place a data infrastructure that will serve us well into the future.

We are looking for an experienced data and insights practitioner who understands the needs of a fundraising team with a diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate the technical know-how, ability to analyse data and spot trends and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

We have been awarded a significant grant from the Defra Trees Call to Action Fund for #Defra Heart of England: growing momentum, capacity, skills and trees. In partnership with Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick, and Wychavon District Councils, the Heart of England Forest is leading this three year project to engage with landowners and local communities to increase tree cover across the landscape. Working together to identify suitable areas for trees to be planted, facilitate tree planting, and support woodland maintenance, new woodlands will be created that benefit the environment, boost biodiversity, and provide havens for communities to enjoy.

We are looking for two candidates with widespread experience of project delivery and good team working skills. The successful candidates will work closely with project partners to engage with local communities and larger scale landowners to identify suitable areas for tree planting.  Working with them to understand their needs, you will provide information on different types of planting and support them through the regulatory and funding process.

You will be passionate about landscape-scale conservation and the benefits this brings to both people and wildlife and have a demonstrable track record in successful team working.

The post will be based in the Heart of England Forest head office in Dorsington, but due to the nature of the project  hybrid working will form part of the role.  Each project delivery post has been assigned a particular geographic area – Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon or Wychavon district – and will be expected to travel extensively across their project area. This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. About the role 

Demand for support for people experiencing homelessness is changing and we have a vacancy in our front facing Engagement and Assessment service. 

This service provides first line support to people experiencing homelessness, assessing their needs, identifying support, and working with other staff and services to address their homelessness. 

We need someone to join this team as a receptionist to increase our capacity to respond to new and existing members of Crisis. 

As the first point of contact, our Engagement and Assessment service greets individuals who are experiencing homelessness or facing a risk of homelessness. You will be working in a fast paced and often challenging environment, explaining and guiding people through the Crisis service offer, and signposting to other local support services. You will need to create a welcoming and encouraging environment, to ensure that people seeking support feel understood and respected. 

No two days are the same, and you will be greeting people, helping signpost to appropriate services and responding to telephone and email enquires in a positive and supportive way. This is a key role as you will be part of a members journey out of homelessness, right from their first presentation. 

About you 

As a receptionist you have a real opportunity to demonstrate your compassion and empathy for people experiencing homelessness as our first point of contact at Crisis. 

Sometimes visitors are distressed by their situation and this role would suit someone who is both resilient and compassionate. 

You will need to have strong communication skills, be able to listen and respond even when people are demonstrating their distress through their language and behaviour. This is where you will demonstrate confidence in your ability to assertively challenge inappropriate behaviour and de-escalate conflict. 

You will develop professional relationships with our members who regularly attend and become part of their progression out of the most difficult of personal circumstances. Our current team tell us how rewarding and motivating this can be. 

You will need to be able to help manage the reception area, spot potential concerns and safety issues and respond to these to ensure that reception is a safe space for new and existing members, and other colleagues. 

You will have experience of working with vulnerable people, balancing this together with an excellent level of customer service, IT skills and an ability to accurately record sensitive information. 

You will be interested in evolving your skills and playing an active role as we continue to develop our Engagement and Assessment service further.

RSBC are seeking an experienced Habilitation Specialist to join our Services Directorate. You will have significant experience of working with children and young people with vision impairment and additional needs, excellent written and oral skills, and good IT skills. There will be the occasional weekend and evening work for which time off in lieu will be given.

Hybrid with the possibility of a remote base, but regular attendance at the London Office and within London would be required.

The Volunteering & Recruitment Co-ordinator will be a valuable member of the HR & Operations Team at Richmond Borough Mind. We are a diverse and well-established charity with a workforce of approximately 60 staff and 140 volunteers, and our team deliver a broad range of mental health support services for the community including Counselling, Peer Group Activities, Mental Health Training and Crisis Support. We are looking for a motivated and experienced co-ordinator to help us nurture our growing base of talented staff and volunteers. 

A natural people-person, you'll be a confident communicator with a proven instinct for matching candidates to careers, vocational pathways and volunteer placements. Experience working in the non-profit sector and knowledge of volunteering will be an asset.

A background in volunteer co-ordination and administration within a charity, HR or equivalent experience is essential. A knowledge of employment law, equality, diversity and inclusion, and best practice in HR will also be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and time management abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Respond is entering its thirty fourth year as a charity and has grown from a small London based charity to a medium sized national charity in recent years.  Our mission is to reduce the impact of trauma in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, by developing trusting relationships, through psychotherapeutically informed services.  

 As Director you will be the clinical and safeguarding lead across Bild group and will lead Respond to fulfil its mission of reducing the impact of trauma in the lives of people with learning disabilities, autistic people and their families. You will champion our highly regarded trauma informed advocacy and psychotherapy services and ensure appropriate clinical governance processes are in place. You will also work in collaboration with Bild to continue to develop the Respond branded training and consultation service and develop key stakeholder relationships within the sector, enhancing Responds reputation, encouraging partnership working and supporting the diversification of income generation.

An important part of our work at Respond is working in a trauma-informed way. What this means for us is that we hold in mind the impact of trauma at all levels of the organisation, and all staff take part in reflective practice.     

We provide a range of trauma-informed services for children, young people, adults and professionals. These include psychotherapy, advocacy, campaigning, training and other support services. The work we do is generally long term in recognition of research that clients with autism and learning disabilities who have experienced abuse and trauma take longer to process their trauma and to recover.
