What will I be doing?

• Manage the annual IOP Awards - Medals and Prizes awards cycle, which celebrate outstanding physicists in the UK and Ireland.
• Support our strategic engagement with academia, universities, national research facilities and independent research organisations.
• Play a critical role in delivering our physics impact projects to shape the debate on matters of importance to the physics community in academia and business.

Projects you work on may include:

• Manage the IOP Awards - Medals and Prizes, including managing nominations and scoring on the Awards platform, executing the engagement plan, managing key stakeholders including Awards Committee and providing excellent customer service to nominees and winners.
• Support our impact projects, including encouraging participation from IOP members and Groups and setting up surveys, workshops and meetings to gather evidence from the community.  Past projects include Green Economy, Quantum and Semiconductors.
• Manage and engage with key stakeholders in academia, including IOP Fellows and Members, award winners and universities, bringing new members into the fold.

Working closely with colleagues across the Communities and Participation Team and the wider Communities and System Partnerships division, you will leverage existing lived experience networks and community relationships to drive change with and for people living with cancer through strategic programmes of work. Context and purpose of role

Ramblers walk leadership programme increases the skills and confidence of people from diverse backgrounds to lead walks, enabling more people to benefit from group walks. As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Walk Leadership) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Walk Leadership programme across GB.
• Create operational delivery plans – to identify milestones, monitor risks, resolve issues and manage resource requirements.

Job Summary

Taking a leading role as part of the Individual Giving management team, you play an important part in helping to achieve a step change in the growth of the net voluntary income of St John. The role will work closely across Individual Giving and the wider Fundraising Directorate to develop an evolving supporter acquisition strategy that will aim to recruit new supporters with a focus on digital. The role needs to focus on managing the implementation of the strategy including using insight and data to develop, implement, manage, monitor and evaluate campaigns across a range of channels, with a cutting edge and contemporary approach whilst staying current with the continuously changing legislation and support climate. Responsibilities include working with agencies and suppliers to project manage the full cycle of direct marketing campaigns.

About You

• Significant experience in a third sector direct marketing role
• Track record in managing effective digital campaigns on a national or regional basis
• Experience of using fundraising databases e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
• Extensive experience of using a variety of fundraising channels including digital, email social media, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS
• Experience of leading a revenue generating team, including generation of six figure acquisition income 

About the Role

• Oversee the supporter acquisition programme, taking responsibility for outstanding donor recruitment with the highest standard of quality and compliance and ensuring a diverse programme mix; ensuring they are in market on time, on budget and on brand.
• Develop an annual plan of acquisition activity; monitoring and analysing all campaign results, with ongoing test and learn mechanisms in place to drive continuous improvement and making recommendations for future activity to effectively maximise income and ROI
• Working collaboratively with key fundraising and data teams; lead the development and continuous improvement of new supporter product development
• Strong agency relationship management across a variety of partners and suppliers, from building relationships and negotiating to contract and routine performance reviews
• Lead on all KPI tracking, trend analysis and interrogation of results at all levels; including programme optimisation to ensure targets are met and contingency planning as required.
• Work closely with key colleagues across individual giving and in other directorates to ensure they are involved in relevant aspects of acquisition activity

Transparency International (UK) and the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition are looking for a Senior Coalition Communications Coordinator

You will work for the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition (UKACC) and its Illicit Finance Working Group (IFWG), collaborating with each of its member organisations. The purpose of this role is to coordinate communications activity amongst its member organisations. Communications will largely focus on the UK’s role as a hub for dirty money and range across all channels – from digital and social media to print, broadcast and events.

The Senior Coalition Communications Coordinator will report to the Coalition Policy Manager and perform this within the Transparency International UK advocacy team.

Main responsibilities

• Coordinate UK Anti-Corruption Coalition members to review, refresh, and develop the Coalition’s communications strategy.
• Coordinate joint UKACC media responses and coordinating relevant comms activities between comms professionals embedded within member organisations and relevant parliamentary groups.
• Manage the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition website and social media activities, ensuring the content is relevant to key audiences, compelling and up to date.
• Responsible for coordinating and producing shared messaging and content for the Coalition informed by audience insight and understanding.
• Responsible for working with members to design and deliver events that support the Coalition and member objectives.
• Perform other duties not listed, e.g. help the Coalition Policy Manager complete some tasks and support working groups, including drafting policy consultation submissions and advocacy documents, preparing meeting agendas, and other non-communication functions.

You will provide inclusive stewardship to networks and communities, acting as a welcoming and supportive point of contact for people living with cancer who are engaged in Macmillan’s work. You will also act as an initial point of contact for internal Macmillan teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all enquiries are managed in a timely and supportive manner.

Working alongside our other Participation and Stewardship Officers and the wider team, you will assist with the design and delivery of participation programmes with a focus on organising high-quality and accessible participation activities. You will deliver a well-administered and responsive participation experience for people living with cancer, ensuring GDPR-compliant data management. You will develop and maintain systems to manage Macmillan's external networks and ensure effective, accessible management of up-to-date documents, resources, tools, and templates for colleagues. You will work the Communities and Participation leadership team to shape and maintain effective team management tools and processes.

Please note: this is a part-time role, working 21 hours across 3 days per week. This will typically involve no more than one evening each quarter and one Saturday each quarter, with each event requiring a few hours of work.
