Your role

This role is crucial in helping us raise funds to underpin our new 3 year strategy and to reach even more midwives and student midwives with our awards.  Reporting to The Executive Director you will take forward our fundraising strategy in our three key areas which grows our income and deepens relationships with our existing donors.  We have a dedicated legacy strategy in place and your role will be to move this forward.  We want you to explore ways in which we can use our learning legacy ( 30 years of funding awards)  to both raise awareness and funds and to be involved as we move forward in appointing a new Patron and Ambassadors and help us maximise their impact.

We need you to be a self starter, highly motivated and comfortable working remotely in a small charity.

Your responsibilities

1. Lead on the development of the operational plan  and oversee delivery of the programme and income and expenditure targets.

2. Liaise with staff and trustees, looking for ways to work more closely and meet the needs of the supporters and prospective supporters we engage with..

3. Always take a supporter focused view, being led by their preferences and wishes, and delivering our work in a way that is going to appeal the most to our target audiences.

4. Develop and implement clear strategies for the effective management and cultivation of IMT’s existing and prospective donors..

5. Increase and diversify our supporter base to ensure that our audiences better reflect the population and the communities that we serve.

6. Make approaches to potential supporters and partners, engaging them in IMT work and securing their support.

7. Evaluate activities to continually optimise our relationships with supporters and partners for greater mutual benefit and in alignment with our ethics and values.

8. Stay abreast of changes and trends in fundraising practice to continually optimise performance, as well as ensuring compliance with changing regulations, including GDPR.

9. Other reasonable duties relevant to the role, to support The Iolanthe Midwifery Trust achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective impact and business operations.

About you

Have a proven track record of successful fundraising within a UK charity preferably working at national level, in one or more of these areas: individuals, corporates , legacies, community.

You have excellent communication skills and can work across a wide range of audiences in a clear and confident manner.

You are highly motivated and able to work independently to develop and implement fundraising strategies.

You are well organised and are able to plan and prioritise working to multiple deadlines as well as being able to develop effective systems to monitor progress,

You have a demonstrable commitment and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion. An understanding of the NHS and the midwifery sector and an understanding of the social and structural drivers of health inequalities would be desirable but not essential.

You are up to date in your knowledge of fundraising regulation, compliance and GDPR and its implications for fundraising policy and practice.

You are confident in the use of G-Suite

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Support Worker to lead and support The Mason Foundation’s future growth and development by providing and delivering training to a variety of audiences.  The role is home based - with requirement to travel (ideally, candidates will be located in the ‘South Central’ area of England, including Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, and surrounding areas).  Hours - 30 -37.5 hours, available as a part-time or full-time position.

As the Training and Support Worker, you will play a pivotal part in the development of our programmes and training, through sharing partner insight, understanding the latest evidence and landscape of workplace inclusivity and keeping abreast of other providers in this space. You will be required to travel regularly to deliver face to face training within the community, education settings and workplaces.   

You will have a track record of working within learning, development, community engagement or similar, ideally with experience of supporting communities with additional needs.

You will be a strong, passionate, and inspiring facilitator, driven to deliver impactful training. You will be a skilled communicator, confident in using a variety of methods to engage and empower others from a broad range of backgrounds and settings.

Key Responsibilities

To work closely with the Evidence & Advocacy Manager (EAM) to develop and implement a series of impactful evidence and research projects that support our advocacy messaging, as well as internal and external learning for inclusive programmes and advisory work. These projects will build on established workstreams alongside developing new ones to maintain and extend CBM UK’s evidence base.

Disability Evidence, Policy Research and Learning

With EAM support the ongoing CBM UK Research and Evidence workstream, through:

1. Translating evidence from our programming countries and projects to produce and contribute to a range of resources to influence FCDO and other stakeholders. Tasks to include managing and maintaining established outputs, such as the CBM UK Project Evidence Briefs and Disability Voices paper series, generating new thematic papers, as well as policy and position papers to enhance effective advocacy submissions, briefing notes, blogs and other messaging on key disability rights issues.

2. Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.

3. Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.

4. Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.

5. Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.

6. Keeping watch on UK policy environment and conducting research and analysis to support CBM UK advocacy messaging on disability and human rights.

Dissemination and Communications

1. Maintaining and developing internal knowledge management systems for research and information on disability inclusion and rights, and related areas, to be used by Advocacy, Programmes and Fundraising & Communications teams.

2. Ensuring communication plans are developed with CBM UK and Global Federation colleagues for CBM UK evidence outputs.

3. Maintaining the Advocacy and Influencing pages of the CBM UK website ensuring rights-based communication and focus to support CBM UK and Global campaigns.

4. Liaison with Fundraising & Communications colleagues to amplify media stories, case studies and compelling evidence from country programming for advocacy purposes.

5. Participation in and building good relationships with UK-based disability and development networks, including relevant research networks and membership of the BOND Disability and Development Group.

6. Supporting the professional publication and printing of CBM UK outputs, for dissemination at advocacy engagements and public events.

Other

1. Work with other CBM UK teams to maximise cross fertilisation opportunities and integrated working.

2. Help develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM. Play an active role across CBM, promoting positive working and innovation. Ensure that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.

3. Identify opportunities to initiate and contribute to new initiatives and events, both within CBM UK and externally.

4. Provide briefings and analysis for the CEO and other Leadership Team members where appropriate.

The Role 

SafeLives is very proud of its reputation for high quality training and operational programmes, and your role in maintaining our standards for learners and stakeholders will be vital.

As a Training and Engagement Coordinator to the Scotland Team, you will provide effective and efficient co-ordination of resources and support, primarily related to our accredited courses, Idaa and DACA, as well as our open course and bespoke training, when capability allows. We are  seeking a passionate and committed Chief Executive Officer who will help us unite the global Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) community to collectively find solutions to the challenges of the syndrome. Our vision is to create a world where people with PWS receive the services and supports they need to fulfil their potential and achieve their goals. PWS is a complex genetic disorder characterised by low muscle tone and failure to thrive at birth, and later evidence of short stature, intellectual disabilities, behavioural and psychiatric challenges and impaired satiety.

IPWSO is the international umbrella body for PWS associations around the world with 47 full paying country members and contacts in over 120 countries. We are committed to supporting people with PWS and their families whatever their needs and wherever they live.

We build communities between people with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families and the professionals who support them to share knowledge and expertise and improve outcomes for people with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families everywhere.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Leadership

· Strive to ensure that the charitable purposes of IPWSO are followed and that it delivers the public benefit set out in its governing document.

· Take overall responsibility for the management and administration of IPWSO.

You'll be acting as a first point of contact for a wide range of supporters and enquirers and maintaining excellent stewardship to nurture and grow our donorbase.

You'll be managing and improving resources to support fundraising including t-shirts, posters, flyers, donation boxes and fundraising packs.

You'll be liaising with the communications team to create promotional materials for the website and social channels to increase fundraising engagement.

You'll be working alongside the fundraising team and communications team to deliver fundraising campaigns.

You'll be managing a number of external accounts to maximise event fundraising including Run for Charity, Enthuse and Discover Adventure.

You'll also be managing accounts to support in-memory donations and legacies and enhancing opportunities for growing these income streams.

This job is for you if:

You are passionate about creating a better world for people living with severe mental health conditions.

You have at least 2 years’ experience of fundraising ideally in individual giving or community fundraising.

You have excellent written and verbal skills – with experience of writing compelling copy and building diverse strong relationships.

You have excellent project management and time management skills.

You have experience of delivering against targets.

You are comfortable working with minimal supervision in a remote environment.

You have a sound understanding of the principles of fundraising including ethical fundraising and GDPR compliance.

You have a high level of competence using Microsoft Office software and are able to quickly adapt to new technologies.

About the Role
As the Finance Administrator you will build good relationships with the wider staff team and be a friendly and knowledgeable source of advice for all queries relating to donations, credit cards, expenses and budget processes. You will support the Finance Manager with day to day tasks, such as bank reconciliation, recording transactions in QuickBooks, responding to staff queries and budget template preparation. As a key member of the team, you will be the primary user of many existing processes, and will be able to identify when and how systems need developing or updating to be more efficient. 

About You
You are passionate about helping staff to record and manage their fundraising and expenditure. You appreciate order and logical systems and processes and are skilled at using those systems and explaining them to others. You thrive on knowing you are using both your organisational skills and your relational skills to support others.

The Rank Prize

Location and travel

We all work remotely, however travel and overnight stays are required as part of the role. You'll attend around 3-4 symposia a year, which run from Mondays to Thursdays and are currently held in the Lake District. You'll also attend 2-3 half-day meetings in London a year, which may require overnight stays depending on how far away from London you live. It would be helpful if you had a full UK driving license and access to your own car.

How you will make a difference:

Amna is seeking a Social Media and Design Consultant on a monthly retainer contract to support our digital content strategy and enhance our online presence. Both individuals and agencies with the relevant skills and experience are welcome to apply. This role is pivotal in amplifying our mission through creative and impactful content that engages our audience and reflects our core values. The consultant will bring expertise in social media management, graphic design, and video editing to help us effectively communicate our story.

Deliverables include:

• Designing up to 20 high-quality graphical posts per month for social media, ensuring alignment with Amna’s visual identity and core values.
• Editing videos and reels for social media channels, up to 5 per month, using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Scheduling posts across social media platforms using Hootsuite, ensuring consistent and strategic content delivery.
• Uploading and managing content on Amna’s website using a web Content Management System (CMS), such as WordPress.
• Providing ad-hoc design support as needed, including infographics, reports, and digital marketing materials (2-3 per month).
• Collaborating closely with the communications team to develop and execute content strategies that raise awareness and foster engagement.
• Keeping up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance Amna’s digital presence, engaging with comments and messages.
• Amna team will share briefs and provide text, creative direction and copy for each deliverable.
• The consultant will be also expected to be available for 1-2 check in meetings per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience managing social media platforms and developing visual content for social media, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Experience in using social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, for scheduling and analytics.
• Interest in social impact, social justice, and working with communities affected by adversity, including displacement, war, conflict, poverty, abuse, or marginalization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote working environment.

• Additional language skills (Arabic, Dari, Pashtu or another language spoken by our partners and the communities we support).

Work Location and Environment:

This is a remote service contract opportunity open to applicants in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Asia. The consultant will be expected to coordinate with Amna’s communications head based in London.

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*.  Key to the project is management of the assets, funded by the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) through their Cultural Assets Fund (CAF).

As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. Alongside the Conservation Projects Manager for Chapels you will deliver the maintenance programme, including regulatory and legal compliance, as well as deal with utilities and insurance of chapels. 10 of the chapels are in our North region, 6 in our West region and 4 are in our South East region.

You will have previous experience in the field of historic buildings maintenance, repair or property management. You will be an effective communicator, be able to plan and deliver your own workload and also work as part of a team. As you’ll be working at chapels throughout England it is essential you have a full driving licence.
