We are looking for an experienced manager who understands and is passionate about community and volunteer-led fundraising, who keeps the supporter at the heart of what they do and is focused on delivering results. Working alongside dedicated colleagues, this is the perfect role for someone looking to put their experience of leading a community fundraising programme to use and help us grow our regional audience.  You will be an integral part of our Public Fundraising leadership team as we seek to develop operational plans to deliver transformational growth across our income. You will also enjoy the active support and buy-in of senior colleagues, the Executive Team and others from across the organisation who are all committed to achieving our fundraising goals. 

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. This includes conducting follow-ups and answering queries (by phone, email and in person) from both current and prospective participants on the programmes being delivered by High Trees. They will also be responsible for the preparation of finance related performance evidence for monthly/quarterly submission.

The successful applicant will have experience of providing efficient administrative support, be very organised and able to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Must also be flexible and excited about being at the heart of a small but fast paced team which is committed to providing an excellent service to High Trees’ users.

Sounddelivery Media is a dynamic charity that seeks to amplify lived experience stories and expertise to address social inequalities. We work alongside people with direct experience of injustice and inequality to advocate for themselves and their communities.

Our Spokesperson Network constitutes a network of media savvy spokespeople, who have direct experience of social injustices. Developed collaboratively with a network of leaders with lived experience, it aims to diversify the voices we hear in the media and make it more representative of the society we live in. Through training, media mentoring, peer support and speaking opportunities, we tackle the barriers that prevent these experts from engaging with journalists who have the power to influence coverage and ultimately drive change.

Members of our network have spoken on all the major news outlets from BBC Newsnight, BBC Radio Four, ITV News, to the Times, the Guardian, places where they can reach audiences of millions and have influenced documentaries and a storyline for a high profile drama. They’ve become part of policy and advisory conversations: APPGs (All Party Parliamentary Groups), Governmental select committees, speaking at Party Conferences and joining advisory panels.

Our work additionally seeks to support the wider charity sector to develop and amplify lived experience stories and expertise themselves. We work closely with charities to help them develop and train their own panels and spokespeople and are currently facilitating Future Voices, a unique spokesperson training programme for migrant domestic workers in partnership with The Voice of Domestic Workers.

Role Overview:

You will provide strategic support to our dynamic Spokesperson Network of leaders with direct experience of social injustices, through;

Managing our existing media relationships, and developing new ones, to create opportunities for our network of confident public spokespeople to be visible
This role will enable us to increase the visibility and impact of our programme participants and their communities by engaging with journalists, media professionals, and other influential platforms. You will be responsible for broadening speaking opportunities, such as broadcast interviews, opinion pieces, and identifying potential storyline collaborations across various media outlets. You’ll also seek opportunities to feature our network in public forums like TEDx talks, conferences, and other platforms that influence public conversations.

Empowering Network members through training and support to develop and maximise media opportunities themselves.
In addition to media engagement, you will play a key role in empowering our network to create and share their own content. This includes helping participants build confidence and develop skills in content creation (eg vlogs), and pitching to the media, ensuring their voices reach those in positions to drive meaningful change.

Building trusted relationships with lived experience leaders in a ethical, trauma-aware, and holistic way
You will work closely with our community to activate and strengthen our network, driving collective action and amplifying the important issues they are addressing. Building trusted relationships with lived experience leaders is key, and you will ensure that all engagement is grounded in ethical, trauma-aware, and holistic support.

Sharing knowledge with other charities supporting Spokesperson Networks
You will help share what we learn through our work with other charities and learn from them too. Using peer-led sessions to share best practice, challenges and ideas for charities working to amplify the voices of people with direct experience of social injustice.

As a small but growing charity, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of our organisation alongside a supportive trustee board, a dedicated team of four staff, and a group of skilled freelancers. Your contribution will be integral to our mission and the positive change we aim to create.

-Regularly engaging our community and being a sounding board to help to develop their ideas 

-Proactively source longer-term opportunities for the issues our community addresses to be more visible in the public eye this could include building relationships with soap storyliners and documentary makers. 

-Support the team on Sounddelivery Media events that increase the visibility of our community and our work

-Support with delivery of media training and coaching on our programmes. 

-Work with the communications team on content- ensuring messaging is impactful in blogs 

-Participate in our peer-led meetings to share our learning and invite guest speakers to share theirs.

-Experience at a senior level working in media relations within a charity, journalism or similar.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on an exciting role within the Humanitarian Team of the Programme & Policy Department/Programme Management Team.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of policies and practices managing projects with the FCDO and DEC. A good grasp of programme and financial management combined with an ability to provide distance support to Country Offices and partners.

The Humanitarian Programme Manager is responsible for the overall management for a portfolio of programmes across the programme management lifecycle from the contracting stage to close out. The team is looking for a talented individual to support our portfolio projects through excellent contract and finance management.  You will have knowledge of donor compliance and donor reporting and will provide integrated programme delivery, contract, and compliance expertise throughout the project cycle: from implementation plan set up to reporting and close out. Purpose of Role

This is a new role within the Strategy and Governance team, a team which supports delivery of the Ramblers’ strategy through business planning, project management and impact measurement, and oversees the management of governance matters.

The purpose of the Project Manager role is to:

• Manage project teams to drive delivery of key initiatives in the business plan using best practice project management approaches. (80% of time)

• Provide a Project Management Office (PMO) function, helping to raise standards and rigour in project management across the organisation. (20% of time)

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle of key projects including:

- preparing a project mandate / business case and updating as required

- identifying and tracking a clear set of measurable outcomes / benefits

- establishing and overseeing appropriate project governance arrangements

- developing a project plan setting out activities, deliverables and milestones

- identifying and managing key risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies

- preparing and managing a project budget and a resourcing schedule 

- developing and implementing communications and engagement plans, working with the comms team

- coordinating with external partners, suppliers and contractors to ensure project requirements are met

- updating stakeholders on progress through regular status reporting

• Enable senior leaders to effectively support project delivery by providing a regular portfolio health report.

Your role involves coordinating with various CARE entities and overseeing specialist audits in areas like cybersecurity and GDPR. The Philanthropy Manager is a key member of the Philanthropy & Partner Engagement Department within War Child’s award-winning Fundraising team. Working closely with the Philanthropy Lead (line manager) and Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will manage a portfolio of major donors at 5- and 6-figure level to support a team target of c£1.4M.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will: 

• Identify and qualify a pipeline for up to 6-figure gifts for both unrestricted and restricted giving

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.

Royal Museums Greenwich is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Each of these sites has a unique identity and a common purpose to serve our communities, through sharing our collections and expertise. Working in the Engagement department and reporting to the Adults and Communities Participation Manager, the Communities Participation Producer will create a year-round public programme of activities inspired by the collections, themes and sites of Royal Museums Greenwich. Key responsibilities include producing and delivering programmes in collaboration with community partners and stakeholders to create relevant, inclusive and inspiring activity across the Museum’s multiple sites. The role will focus on creating activity that welcomes underrepresented audiences to Royal Museums Greenwich sites, developing trusted relationships in the process and responding to the social purpose of the organisation.

The role will develop programmes that connect communities and collections around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. This will involve working across generations to  facilitate dialogue around under-represented histories and current issues in a variety of formats including large scale public festivals, talks, workshops and more. The role will have a focus on developing participation opportunities for African and Caribbean and East and South-East Asian diaspora, as well as LGBTQ+ communities, to develop stronger connections with the collection and bring new perspectives to maritime history. This will involve audience research and internal dialogue to create supportive spaces and activity at Royal Museums Greenwich and contribute towards it becoming a more inclusive and representative organisation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering a range of inclusive cultural engagement provision for diverse audiences, including large-scale public events, and creating audience-led programmes for African and Caribbean/ East Asian/ South-East Asian diaspora communities. The postholder will have a track record of building strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders, along with experience of writing and producing resources and promotional materials for a range of target audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role, as is a passion for activating and supporting dialogue around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. The postholder will be innovative, imaginative, creative and self-motivated; highly-organised, able to work to deadlines across multiple projects while managing a budget; and have the ability to undertake some evening and weekend working.
