In the role of Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Retention & Development at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, you will play a key role in supporting the Individual Giving team. Your work will focus on retaining and developing relationships with supporters, ensuring they have the best possible experience with the charity. This includes managing supporter queries, processing donations, and providing sensitive and empathetic communication, particularly with those donating in memory of loved ones.

Additionally, you’ll provide administrative support to the team, maintaining accurate records and occasionally covering reception duties, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. As Head of Development, you will be a key member of a small team. Reporting to the incoming Chief Executive, you will develop and implement the preexisting fundraising strategy and guide the organisation’s communications and PR strategy. You will inherit a strategically developed portfolio of relationships and income streams, with particular strengths in trusts and foundations, and a strong network of individual donors and scope to build corporates. There is also a small but growing legacy circle, created in response to a recent bequest of £1M+. You will line manage a small team of two: the Development & Communications Coordinator, and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. With ambitions to expand upon NYJO’s existing work, your ability to set and achieve more ambitious targets will be essential.

Please note that this role will require occasional travel that will vary across the year, depending on the events calendar. Travel is likely to be required twice per month - please discuss with Joe Blythe at QuarterFive. 

As Head of Development, you will:

• Develop and implement the existing fundraising strategy and develop marketing and communications efforts, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging to effectively engage donors and stakeholders
• Deliver a high standard of supporter care and relationship management tailored to the level of giving, including nurturing their successful new Legacy Club
• Manage and attend an annual series of fundraising events, from relaxed open days to formal receptions
• Oversee NYJO marketing and communications
• Line manage the Development & Communications Coordinator and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Experience of securing 5- and 6-figure grants from a range of trust, statutory and/or individual sources
• Tailoring applications to appeal to a diverse range of funders/donors, which may include drawing together distinct areas of activity to create bespoke packages
• An outgoing, approachable, confident and professional manner in dealing with donors, prospects and other stakeholders
• Interest in UK Jazz and enthusiasm for working with young artists and musicians and broadening access to participatory arts for all young people

We are looking for someone to join our Public Fundraising Team as a Senior Challenge & Public Events Officer, to independently manage and have overall responsibility for leading on the planning and delivery of a pilot bespoke running event happening in May 2025. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of project managing large-scale events with exceptional organisational skills; developing multi-channel marketing plans; developing and delivering complex stewardship journeys, and have strong relationship management skills.

For the UK, London, Hybrid: WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base. About WaterAid:
The climate crisis is a water crisis. Around the world, people are feeling the effects of climate change through water, including flooding, droughts, sea level rise, and irregular rainfall. Climate change is affecting seasonal and long-term water availability, meaning we can no longer rely on rain, river flows and aquifers. 

The Resilient Water Accelerator is an initiative designed to increase the flow of private and public finance into water projects that help the most climate-vulnerable communities build resilience to climate change. Despite the high need, only 3% of total climate finance flows go towards water. Our mission is to demonstrate the business case for increased and enhanced public and private investment in water-related deals in emerging economies that strengthen resilience for climate-vulnerable communities and are replicable so that millions more can benefit. We are working to increase the speed, scale, and replicability of water investment by creating a pipeline of bankable projects, bringing together the right mix of financing with the right commercial structures and partners, and supporting improvements in the enabling environment.

About the Team:
We are a friendly, supportive, globally distributed team, bringing on-the-ground expertise and comprehensive perspectives, combining climate policy, water economics, private finance, measurement and evaluation, and governance. We are currently housed within WaterAid – the world’s largest NGO focused on providing water, sanitation, and hygiene outcomes for people in developing countries, and are one of WaterAid’s flagship programmes. We have a close partnership with Global Development Incubator, which is providing incubation support for the RWA.

The RWA currently has 11 staff, based in 6 countries, and we have plans to build the team to around 18-20 over the next couple of years, to extend our delivery from 2 countries (currently Nigeria and Bangladesh) to 6, and to secure additional financing to complement the investment we have secured from the UK Government.

About the Role:
The Manager – Climate & Water will play an important role in this small, international team by managing the integration of ideas, policy frameworks, and findings from research and practice into the Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA)’s programmes in our target countries and at a global level. They will report directly into the RWA’s Director of Programmes and Investment, shaping and delivering the future RWA as a highly effective and impactful learning organisation.

• Project management to ensure RWA’s Programmes and Investment-related activities are delivered on time and within budget. Using agreed project management software, track and report RWA’s programme-related deliverables. 
• Conduct research and integrate findings to strengthen RWA Programmes design and delivery: Provide regular inputs and updates on water-related climate, and climate-related water policies, practices, and trends in RWA’s focus countries and target markets and at a global level using quantitative and qualitative approaches, to inform RWA’s understanding of local markets and project origination & early-stage development efforts. 
• Support the creation and rollout of tools, templates, and business processes for RWA team members to integrate climate policy and climate finance into program operations: Collaboratively design, iterate, and improve RWA’s suite of tools and methods for use throughout RWA’s programming, including but not limited to: Understanding Local Markets (ULM), which includes scoping new markets for RWA operations and maintaining an understanding of the markets where we operate; Deal Origination and Early Stage Development, to integrate climate policy and finance into local decision making about opportunities and challenges; 
• Summarize, synthesize, and effectively communicate climate and water-related ideas for internal (RWA staff & board) and external (specific & general) audiences: Support communications strategy and audience segmentation efforts; contribute to RWA’s external communications and knowledge products, to share and amplify how RWA is thinking and learning through diverse media, e.g., newsletter, blogs, field notes, podcast, social media. 

About you:

• At least 5 years’ experience working in on climate-related issues, with a preference for climate policy in middle-income countries and/or climate-related finance.
• A passion for effective Project Management, process design, and continuous improvement cycles with an organised and structured approach to work, managing deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research, analytical, and modelling skills, with an ability to summarize, synthesize, and articulate findings in clear and coherent ways for diverse audiences.
• Intellectually curious and flexible, with a willingness to explore and test diverse ideas, try new things, and approach learning with a sense of humility and humour.
• Familiarity and experience working with GIS / other large-scale datasets to create models and conduct research and analyses preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-cultural contexts. Experience facilitating virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, and trainings with diverse audiences preferred.
• Creative and open-minded when working with others in identifying, understanding, and resolving multi-dimensional problems. 
• Masters’ degree in one of the following or related fields: climate science, climate and/or water policy, sustainability-related finance, business administration, public administration, public policy.
• Experience of working in and with geographically dispersed teams.
• Team player with a flexible mindset and ability to establish boundaries and adapt in response to changing priorities and demands.
• Able to work on own initiative, providing proactive advice and recommendations, and comfortable operating with a degree of uncertainty and change.

RJ4All is looking for an innovative UK Operations Director who will drive impactful social justice projects and community initiatives while fostering strategic growth and income generation. You will oversee our dynamic UK-based operations out of the Rotherhithe Community Centre, work closely with the Director, and lead our Centre-based team. 

Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) is a charitable, user-led international institute with expertise in preventing and addressing harm at the individual, community and inter-state levels. We are one of the world’s leading experts in transferring complex criminological and social justice concepts into practice through real-life pilots and community projects. 

The UK Operations Director will lead on the delivery, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of RJ4All’s UK-based services, and especially those run from the RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre. It is expected that they will generate income for the UK operations and contribute to new ideas for UK-based projects that fall within RJ4All’s agreed strategy. Finally, the post holder will act in place of the Director when they are unavailable or for any other agreed reason.

This post requires leadership and strong ethical commitment to RJ4All’s core values and vision, independence balanced against organisational priorities and focus. To this end, the postholder is expected to have excellent communication with the Director, and be able to participate in complex, high level discussions with the non-executive directors and other stakeholders about the future of RJ4All. Key Tasks 

• Lead on the management of RJ4All’s UK Operations especially those run from the Rotherhithe Community Centre, ensuring its facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards. 

• To line manage the Community Project Coordinators and Officers, the Fitness team, administrators, finance support staff, interns and volunteers. 

• To lead on drafting applications for funding from government, trusts and foundations, donors and sponsors for UK programmes and services. 

• To lead on managing and delivering of all services running out of the Community Centre including the RJ4All Sports branch, Community Gym, YouthClubs+, Foodbank, and Community Library 

• To lead on creating and monitoring the UK Operations’ Theory of Change on annual basis, and review it against available data and individual projects’ Theory of Change. 

Qualifications 

Essential 

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a relevant field such as equalities or crime prevention 

• Experience in non-profit, CIC, or small business environment

• Experience in managing paid and volunteering personnel

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising 

• Experience in writing and monitoring budgets 

• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to contribute to decision-making and planning 

• Willingness to learn and develop as a leader, inspire others and self, motivate and set own priorities 

Desirable 

• Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related 

• Certified trainings in restorative justice and other relevant areas 

• Knowledge of the HMRC and UK tax regulations and best practices

As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you’ll create opportunities for our amazing supporters to connect with and drive our work through various means of individual giving. You'll create engaging communucations, ensuring that our donors feel valued and understand the impact they're having on babies and their families, and you'll develop key appeals and individual giving activity to drive growth in these income streams.

You will:

1. Manage the development of individual giving income streams, including legacy giving, regular giving, one-off gifts, in memory giving and new products
2. Co-ordinate key engagement activity, such as the annual supporter Thankathon and Impact Report
3. Oversee administration and stewardship of individual giving income
4. Manage the promotion, sale and distribution of Lullaby Trust merchandise

This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary; the two salary ranges above reflect this. The 21 hours could be worked across 3-5 days per week.

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a medical charity with a focus on supporting doctors who lead in clinical radiology and clinical oncology ultimately working to improve patient outcomes and we are looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join us.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight, advice and support to key stakeholders across the organisation. You will be a trusted adviser to non-finance teams helping them to understand financial data and make informed decisions. You will be a key element of the high-performing and credible finance team, supporting both the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant and the Assistant Accountant in operational finance and in ongoing delivery of accurate financial information on which the business partnering relies.

To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical skills, providing financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting advice to drive performance and operational efficiency. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the RCR. Having strong commercial acumen, you will be able to communicate with and influence a range of audiences effectively with an understanding that strong, reliable financial data is the foundation of a successful business and is a primary deliverable.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver a decision support service to managers and directors to deliver improved financial performance outcomes for the RCR.
• Ensure that partners use effective financial controls over their spend and income conforming to RCR’s policies and to optimise RCR’s outcomes.
• Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.
• Provide effective analytical insight and advice to partners and Head of Finance to maximise the return on investment and support for implementing change to improve outcomes.

What you’ll need:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
• Experience of financial business partnering role or accounting role in comparable organisation.
• Excellent commercial skills, including the ability to lead or support negotiations and to influence and motivate others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical/non-professional audiences.
• An enquiring and analytical mindset with the ability to spot risks, to dig further to follow up on problems and work through issues to offer practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on prospective donors, foundations, and corporate supporters and monitoring grant portals to build a pipeline of new funding opportunities

• Supporting with event design and management to engage new donors and steward existing partners
