To run the next rounds of our 2½-years old Grantmaking Training program, we are looking for a Philanthropic Programs Director to continue finding, training, and advising funders in setting up their grantmaking for maximum impact. In addition, you will provide strategic oversight and guidance to the funders in our five funding circles, collectively distributing $5-10 million annually.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Philanthropic Programs Director, you will lead and keep developing AIM's Impactful Grantmaking training program and oversee our five funding circles. Your primary responsibility will be outreach, program facilitation, and hands-on philanthropic advising for the twice-annual 9-week cohorts of funders giving over $1M annually.
This is a fairly senior position with high stakes, a lot of potential for development, and outstandingly high potential for impact, and thus best suited to an individual with at a minimum 3-5 years of experience and some deep prior expertise in the philanthropic sector.
You will work closely with the Philanthropic Programs Manager in a two-person program team. You will decide collaboratively at the start of your tenure how to divide and/or share responsibilities in the categories below, as well as how to take care of operations and ad hoc tasks and projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Facilitation (~40%)

Deliver program content in an engaging and accessible manner

Develop weekly lesson plans and discussion topics for a 9-week program Zoom calls

Conduct thought-provoking and productive 1:1 coaching sessions with participants for 30 minutes weekly throughout the program.

Prepare for and run the weekly group calls going through topics covered in our foundation handbook
Outreach and Public-Facing Work (~30%)

Conduct regular calls with philanthropists, advisors, and other philanthropic professionals to maintain a strong presence in the sector

Serve as the initial point of contact for new funders interested in or referred to the program, effectively communicating its value without being overly sales-oriented

Scope and test the best ways to find new prospective participants who would benefit from our program and cause a large amount of impact

Ensure each cohort has a minimum of 5 participants contributing an average of $1M+ each annually
-
Maintain visibility of the program in philanthropic circles through activities such as article writing and regular engagement on philanthropy listservs

Represent the AIM Grantmaking program at a minimum of two conferences annually and at local philanthropic events in your area
Community Engagement (~15%)

Foster relationships with our community of 30+ alumni and extended network of funders

Provide strategic oversight and guidance to funding circle co-chairs, serving as a valuable resource and goal-setter

Organise regular alumni catch-up calls for the entire community

Collaborate on planning the grantmaker meetup component of annual AIM network in-person gatherings
Grantmaking (~0-10%)

Program Operations Support (~10%)

Contribute to iterative improvement of program content, adapting based on feedback, evaluation, and tailoring for the upcoming cohort composition

APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you. Our process consists only of stages that our best evidence suggests are predictive of success on the job (such as test tasks) rather than more common but less predictive stages (such as cover letters). We only invite candidates to the next stage if we think they have a good chance of passing it, and take care to choose tasks and interview questions that will also give you a good sense of the role and our culture.
Applicants will be asked to complete the following stages:

About the role:
The Gray's Inn Road supported accommodation project is a 16-bed short stay accommodation service which holds a critical position in the endeavour to address rough sleeping in the London Borough of Camden. The service, funded by the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden council aligns with the strategic vision to make rough sleeping rare, brief, and non-recurrent in Camden. Although there is not a defined maximum stay, the service is designed to be a ‘short stay’ project and will aim to move people on into suitable housing options after 3-6 months.
As a complex needs support worker, your primary purpose is to provide comprehensive, trauma informed support to residents within a psychologically sensitive accommodation setting. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the wellbeing, safety and development of residents.
You will be responsible for holding an individual caseload, undertaking detailed assessments, onwards referrals and adopting a Team Around Me (TAM) approach to support. You will also create tailored interventions to individuals facing multiple disadvantages such as homelessness, mental and physical health challenges, trauma, substance use and contact with the criminal justice system. This will include assisting with practical daily tasks, facilitating access to educational and employment opportunities, maintaining a safe living environment in line with organisational policy.
Your role will also involve daily shift delivery, operational functions and collaboration with key partners and stakeholders such as Connect Forward, Camden Adult Pathway, In Roads substance misuse service, FOCUS and Camden Routes off The Streets. Compliance with health and safety standards, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to relevant policies and procedures are integral aspects of your role. Additionally, your commitment to continuous learning, reflection, and contribution to service improvement initiatives will contribute to the overall quality of care provided to residents.
About you:
- The ability to assist individuals who face multiple disadvantages to identify their personal goals and guide them through the process of change.
- Managing challenging situations in relation to people, including responding calmly to crisis and deal promptly, effectively and safely to complex situations.
- Knowledge of financial support available to clients to ensure income maximisation, rent payment, and increased financial resilience.

Role Overview:
As a Young Persons Link Worker, you will be providing social prescribing support to young people, and/or their families. The aim of the role is to help clients improve their health and wellbeing by connecting them to community support. This could include helping people with a range of issues such as coping with social pressures, emotional wellbeing, physical inactivity, financial difficulties, crime, loneliness, bullying, relationship issues, housing issues and family problems.
The role involves working with professionals in Primary Care, education, social services and other community and voluntary sector services to develop the service. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, passionate about supporting people and dedicated to reducing inequalities in the local area.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Person-centred care and support
- Deliver effective social prescribing appointments using a holistic and person-centred approach
- Empower clients to take control of their own wellbeing by building their confidence, motivating them to set goals and creating personalised action plan
- Signpost and refer people to local voluntary, community and statutory services that help meet their needs
Communication and Collaboration
- Work with the Primary Care partners and the Enable Health & Wellbeing Team to develop a social prescribing service that supports young people and families
- Maintain regular contact with primary care teams, providing updates and sharing knowledge of local VCSE organisations
- Develop supportive relationships and work in partnership with local VCSE organisations, community groups, and statutory services to make safe and effective onward referrals
Service Quality and Development
- Collect and record outcome and monitoring data using required systems, contributing to the evaluation of the programm
- Manage own case load to ensure clients receive appropriate levels of support and expectations are met and keep accurate records of client interactions and record all onward referrals to VCSE service
- Gather client feedback to evaluate the quality of the service and to inform service changes and developments
- Complete Quality Assurance Assessments for VCSE organisations accepting social prescribing referrals to ensure they are safe, effective, and have the support they need to be part of social prescribing
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a role that involves delivering face-to-face support in a relevant health, social care or youth work environment
- At least 2 years’ experience working with/ supporting disadvantaged young people and their families
- Experience of working with the VCSE sector, including with volunteers, small community groups and youth groups
- Experience of partnership working and relationship building across different sectors and organisations
- Motivational interviewing, behaviour change, or health coaching qualification (desirable) or willingness to undertake training (essential)
- Understanding of the challenge’s young people and families within inner London face particularly relating to obesity and mental health issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and other client monitoring systems or tools as required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range partners including GPs, VCSE organisations and service users

About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. As Communications and Projects Officer – Baby Bank Alliance (BBA), you will have a crucial role in overseeing social, digital, and internal communications for the Baby Bank Alliance and their 170+ member network, as well as supporting other key operational activities.

Young People Support Worker
We have a new role available for a Young People Support Worker to join Depaul UK to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Position: Young People Support Worker
Location: Islington, London
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time – Three-week rolling (two weekends off/one on)
Shifts: 8:00am – 14:00pm and 12:00pm to 20:00pm

About the Role
To work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Your work will be underpinned by the Depaul Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of which is to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for a caseload of (5) clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service.
In accommodation-based services, you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in a positive and successful move on. The role will have responsibility under Depaul’s commitment to successfully deliver the contracted outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
· You will ensure the safety and well-being of clients in the service at all times possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable,
· It should not be seen as precluding future changes after appointment to this role.
· You will carry a caseload of clients for whom you will be the named key worker, and you will also take joint responsibility with your team members for the well-being and day-to-day support of all clients in the services
· You will lead on risk and needs assessment and support planning for your key clients and contribute to ongoing needs and risk assessment of other clients in the service
· You will develop and implement SMART outcomes-based support plans for your key clients
· You will deliver one-to-one and group support opportunities within their accommodation and in the local community aimed at increasing resilience in the clients we work with.
· You will proactively work in partnership with multiple agencies including statutory teams, to support the wellbeing of Depaul clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols.
· You will be flexible, reflective and creative in your engagement with clients and personalised in your support to them.

You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Experience working with the client group.
