We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our fantastic Communications and Engagement Team.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, working alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Officer on a part-time basis. The post holder will work 14 hours per week or two full days. We can be flexible on the days worked to accommodate the post-holder’s needs. We will require them to be predominately office-based because of the need to build relationships with team members, internal colleagues, and crucially our commercial tenants. 

About the Marketing Manager (Part-Time) role

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing plans which support Coin Street’s purpose and values.

This includes raising brand awareness, promoting the shops, studios, and restaurants at Oxo Tower Wharf and Gabriel’s Wharf, and developing marketing events and in-person activities at the sites. 

The successful candidate will have marketing experience in retail, leisure, or hospitality, with a strong track record in developing strategies and executing online and offline campaigns. They should be strong at managing stakeholder relationships, using content management systems, Google Analytics, and email marketing. Candidates should also be experienced in brand management and overseeing creative projects.

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER 

Reports To:     Communications Manager
Hours: Full Time (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week)

We’re Dogs for Good. We bring people and dogs together to help make everyday life possible. This role will ensure our stories and impact are understood, celebrated and championed by all our stakeholders across multiple channels. • Collaborate with stakeholders to source and share relevant content.

• Maintain relationships with local partners and key stakeholders.
• Respond to enquiries from the public, media, and community members.

Person Specification:

JOB PURPOSE

The Partnerships Engagement Officer will support donor engagement activities across Start Network’s. Start Network is working with a growing number of committed trusts and foundations, corporates, and institutional funders. The role will provide a unique donor engagement experience for these existing donors, through impact reports, case studies and a series of engaging events, as well as scaling-up our efforts to secure funding from new sources. By providing support across the Resource Mobilisation team, as well as support for our external communications and events, this role will gain insight into the full breadth of Start Network’s programme and funding portfolio.

Working with colleagues across the organisation, this role will identify donor prospects, produce compelling presentations, draft concept notes and funding proposals aligned to donor priorities, support engagement of existing donors, plan and coordinate events and develop key communications geared towards donors.

About the Role

Llanelli Foodbank is seeking a Fundraising Officer—a passionate and motivated individual who can inspire local businesses, community groups, and individuals to contribute to the fight against food insecurity. Every pound raised means another meal on the table for a family in need, and this role is pivotal in securing the vital funding required to sustain and expand our services.

As our Fundraising Officer, you will:

• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local businesses, donors, and sponsors.

• Develop creative fundraising campaigns that increase public donations by at least 50% within a year.

• Organise community initiatives and events that not only raise funds but also spread awareness of food poverty in Llanelli.

• Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities to support and grow the Foodbank’s impact.

The post holder will lead Refugee Support Devon (RSD) in achieving its mission and strategic goals. This person will act as RSD’s primary ambassador, advocate, and spokesperson, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, funders, and the wider community. You’ll be part of the Trust’s Development Directorate, leading the development and delivery of the Trust’s volunteering transformation plans with the aim to improve collaboration and efficiency across the Trust.

About the role

This is a new role funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund that will enable the transformation of how the Trust supports volunteering by delivering a programme of volunteer and staff engagement and training, and leading the set up and migration to a new cloud-based volunteer management system. The role will also lead on volunteer development with external partners as part of the project.

Location: Head office in Victoria typically 1-2 days per week, remaining working from home
Flexible working: this role is based in Victoria with typical working hours of 9-5pm. Hybrid working is available in this position. Flexible working requests are available from day one. We would also consider applications from part time applicants working 4-4.5 days per week.

Role & Responsibilities
 
Our COO is a pivotal role – a similar role has not existed within our organisation for five years, during which time our income has increased from £4.5 million to over £6 million and rising. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys making a role their own, finds great fulfilment in supporting others to achieve their best, and enjoys seeing positive changes in action.
 
As our COO, you’ll be a member of the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team with day-to-day overall leadership responsibility for finance, people, organisational development, impact measurement and governance.

• Support the CEO in ensuring the Trust’s good governance, including planning and preparation for Board and subcommittee meetings, and broader Trustee engagement including recruitment and away days
• Working closely with the CEO and SLT, take ownership of the development and implementation of the Trust’s 5yr strategic business plan ensuring regular review of financial progress and high-quality reporting to the Board
• Lead on risk management, business continuity and crisis management including resilience planning and developing contingency procedures
• Lead, develop and manage the Central Services team including two direct reports: Head of Finance and Head of People & Organisational Development
• Act as the Trust’s Health and Safety lead by taking a proactive approach to oversight and monitoring of the Trust’s H&S management systems and processes

Our ideal Chief Operating Officer

• Senior level experience in an organisation with responsibility for developing, implementing and reviewing financial and strategic business plans
• Strong strategic finance and financial forecasting experience including working knowledge of charity SORP accounting, VAT, Gift Aid and balance of restricted and unrestricted income
• Proven skill and confidence in building, working with and interpreting complex financial spreadsheets and data; including the ability to model different financial scenarios and communicate effectively both with qualified finance professionals and non-finance colleagues
• Experience of working collaboratively to set and monitor organisational budgets and income targets, ensuring that accountability is embedded throughout the organisation and supporting organisational growth
• Commercial acumen, including a track record in identifying, developing and supporting successful and sustainable commercial operations within an organisation
• Demonstrable experience of overseeing the collation, analysis and communication of data to produce internal and external evaluations and reports

We have some big fundraising plans, and as we look towards a major appeal later this year, we are growing our fundraising team. Our Philanthropy Fundraiser will focus on corporate, major donor and regular givers, ensuring we maintain great relationships with all these groups, as well as bringing new supporters on board. While we are fortunate to have a strong base of support, we know there is huge potential for developing our support, particularly in Telford and Mid Wales.

Working as part of a small but highly effective fundraising team, the successful candidate will be motivated to work towards challenging income targets, confident in pitching and presenting, and committed to making a real difference to lives affected by cancer in our community.
