About you
As our Partnerships Manager, act as the day-to-day lead manager and central point of contact for major partnerships, ensuring the full potential value of these partnerships are maximised. You will work closely with our Programme Management team to support the successful delivery of our Programme for our global top ten partnerships.
You will develop and deliver long term growth strategies for our partnerships, proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities that align with Save the Children and our partners priorities.
Additionally, you will achieve and exceed income targets or agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set for the partnership, leveraging resources to support the achievement of partnership's goals, monitor progress, and evaluate benefits.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and partners, supporting them in ethical storytelling and communication efforts.
- Achieve financial and non-financial targets by creating and implementing detailed strategies for short-term income and long-term growth.
- Monitor and manage income, expenditure, and resources, providing regular forecasting and analysis to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Collaborate internally across Save the Children and with external markets to leverage resources and experience, ensuring partnerships align with organizational values and policies.
- Prepare and adapt various communications, including presentations, proposals, social media content, and reports, tailored to different audiences.
- Support senior colleagues and the broader Partnerships & Philanthropy team, including potential UK or international travel and engagement with legal and marketing teams for contract and project execution.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- A growth mindset to drive forward progress with vision, energy, creativity and in a proactive nature. Strong communication skills combined with strong project management, organisational and relationship building skills.
- You will also have solid experience of managing complex partnerships, or within the commercial sector, to demonstrate the key elements required to succeed in this role.

Ways of Working:

“Home Equals” is a five-year global advocacy campaign, recently launched by Habitat for Humanity International and dedicated to achieving policy change, at all levels, to ensure that people living in informal settlements especially in the Global South have equitable access to adequate housing. Together, with partners, governments and communities, we can create lasting change so that people living in informal settlements have safe and secure homes.

Purpose of The role
Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Advocacy to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. The Head of Advocacy will be instrumental in building Habitat GB's profile and influence, establishing strong relationships and coalitions with stakeholders in the UK, identifying lobbying opportunities, providing strategic political insight, and ensuring systematic monitoring and analysis of the international development political landscape. By collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, the successful candidate will drive meaningful change and contribute to addressing housing challenges on a global scale.
· Develop Advocacy Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive advocacy strategy aligned with Habitat GB's mission and the "Home Equals" campaign objectives, engaging key people in Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy team. This strategy should focus on advocating for policy change within the UK government to prioritize housing in international development.
· Delivery of Advocacy Strategy: Deliver activities to implement the advocacy strategy, working closely with Habitat GB’s senior leadership team and Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy team. Activities may include stakeholder engagement and coalition building, policy research and positioning, profile building, lobbying and political insight, and advocacy campaign, initiatives and events.
· Evaluation, Reporting and Learning: Establish mechanisms for systematic monitoring, analysis, and dissemination of political intelligence related to housing and international development issues in alignment with Habitat for Humanity International’s global metric tracking on advocacy impacts. Prepare regular reports on advocacy outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future action.
· Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate closely with Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy team especially on G7 related advocacy and implementation of the Home Equals campaign, other affiliates, and external partners to align advocacy efforts, share best practices, and coordinate actions for maximum effectiveness.
· Leadership and Management: Manage, motivate and mentor UK Housing Advocacy Manager, with regular 1-2-1s, setting individual objectives, giving and receiving feedback, progressing people and plans. Role model our values in line with Habitat GB’s inclusive approach to people and culture.
These responsibilities outline the multifaceted nature of the Head of Advocacy role, highlighting the importance of strategic planning, relationship building, political engagement, and impact evaluation in advancing Habitat GB's advocacy objectives related to housing and poverty reduction.
Person Specification
· Bachelor's degree in international relations, public policy, political science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Experience in advocacy, policy analysis, or government relations in the UK, with a focus on international development, housing, or related issues.
· Experience in developing, delivering and implementing advocacy strategies.
· Proven track record of successfully influencing policy change and mobilizing support for advocacy campaigns.
· Experience of directly engaging stakeholders and decision makers through events, networks, meetings and other mechanisms.
· Experience working in a cross-cultural or international context is desirable.
· Experience in senior management roles, encompassing strategic management and team leadership.
Skills and competencies:
· Strong understanding of the UK government structure, policy-making processes, and key stakeholders involved in international development.

Flexibility
Habitat GB is seeking to rapidly expand its activities and impact to fight poverty across the world. This means that the organisation must be adaptable and flexible and have an ambitious, dynamic and flexible team. This role will play a key role in supporting our political influencing and public affairs activity, to establish Crisis’ relationship with the newly elected Parliament, and crucially provide the secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ending Homelessness.
Location: Based in our London office (we are open to a range of flexible working options, in line with Crisis’ Hybrid-Working Policy. The team works in the office together one day per week, we can be flexible on this but attending in-person meetings in Westminster and for APPG events will be required)
About the role
As Public Affairs Officer you will provide the secretariat for the APPG for Ending Homelessness, a well-established cross-party group, with broad interest and engagement from across the sector and who have successfully influenced Government on a range of issues relating to homelessness. The Public Affairs Officer will work with the APPG co-chairs and officers to agree a strategic programme of work and to deliver events, meetings and inquiries in adherence with parliamentary procedures. You will work with the wider Policy and Campaigns team to establish the APPG position on key homelessness and housing announcements, as well as managing the APPG communications via the website, mailing list and social media. Previous APPG activities have included inquiries into the previous Government’s commitment to end rough sleeping, homelessness amongst Ukrainian refugees and homelessness upon leaving public services.
You will also shape and help deliver Crisis’ public affairs activity, including in support of our national campaigns to secure the policy changes to end homelessness, and to increase awareness of Crisis more broadly. This includes shaping regular engagement with MPs and politicians to inspire them to work with Crisis, position us as experts, as well as delivering Parliamentary events and supporting our programme of activity at political party conferences.
The role sits within the campaigns team in the Policy and Social Change directorate, but you’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams across the organisation to identify public affairs opportunities and ensure people with lived experience are at the heart of our political influencing activity, including with Crisis frontline services.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have strong knowledge of parliamentary and political procedures, including experience of working with APPGs or similar groups of politicians. Understanding or knowledge of homelessness or housing policy is desirable. You may have experience in; public affairs, policy, communications and public relations.

We have just finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.
Background & Context to the Consultancy
Our new Global Strategy introduces some new approaches and priorities to our work, including: our first ever global Theory of Change (ToC), the most detailed Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach ever, and a sub-strategy dedicated to research, innovation and technology: the Global Research, Innovation and Technology Strategy (GRITS). With the finalisation of the new strategy, and as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our impact and efficiency, we are now seeking a consultant to provide specialised research support and technical advice.
Purpose & Objectives of the Consultancy
The primary objectives of this consultancy are to lead the transitional phase of the GRITS, creating a detailed operational plan for its implementation; support the management of the existing research portfolio ensuring technical soundness, budget adherence and timely delivery; establish a sustainable pathway for research expertise to be led by in-country professionals.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for the following key areas over a six-month period:
Strategy Transition Leadership
- Lead the transitional phase of the GRITS.
- Identify and address any gaps or challenges in the current strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth transition.
Operational Plan Management
- Develop a comprehensive operational plan for the rollout of the strategy.
- Establish the initial GRITS processes including the Go no Go; steering group established and functioning.
- Define clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure the plan is realistic, achievable, and aligns with the charity’s objectives and resources.
Support Existing Research Profile
- Review and support ongoing research projects.
- Ensure all research activities are technically sound, within budget, and on time.
- Provide technical guidance and support to research teams.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to staff and partners.
- Ensure that data sets and tools are appropriately designed and employed.
Pathway to Sustainability
- Create a sustainability plan to ensure research expertise is transitioned to and led by in-country professionals.
- Develop capacity-building programmes for local researchers and institutions
- Establish mentorship and training frameworks to support local leadership in research.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, research institutions, and community leaders.
- Facilitate collaboration and partnerships to enhance the research profile and strategy implementation.
- Ensure transparent and effective communication throughout the transition process.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress and impact of the strategy.
- Regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements to the Lepra’s leadership team.
- Adjust plans and strategies based on feedback and evaluation results.
Safeguarding
- Support the implementation of newly developed processes in relation to the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (PSEA) and Safeguarding (SG).
- Ensure safeguarding measures are integrated into all project activities.

The role

As PR and Content Officer, you will be providing a broad range of public relations related support to Allergy UK to enhance the reputation of Allergy UK and deliver against its vision and mission and for allergies to be taken seriously. The role will require an individual who has demonstrable press office/PR experience. If you describe yourself as someone with a ‘can do’ approach and enjoy a fast-paced autonomous role this role will meet those desires. You will be someone that is confident with all media activity and is looking for a role within the health and not for profit space.
