We’re looking for an experienced Fundraising Lead to join an important charity that exists to help Surrey’s unpaid carers, aged 5-95 to help people feel more in control of their lives and less alone.

Salary: £25,875 for 30 hours per week, full-time equivalent salary is £31,051

About the role:

The Fundraising Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining corporate partnerships that increase income and diversify funding. The post holder’s primary focus will be community organisations, businesses and other bodies.

You will support the organisation to deliver services and support for unpaid carers. You will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and drive fundraising efforts, community engagement, gifts-in-kind, volunteer engagement and awareness raising.

Key areas of responsibility include:  

• Develop a partnership engagement strategy that raises the profile of the organisation.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with community and corporate partners that support fundraising, gifts-in-kind and volunteer engagement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for community and corporate partners.
• Explore and promote opportunities for sponsorship, donations and corporate giving.
• Support fundraising events and activities undertaken by community and corporate partners, groups and individuals.
• Support the finance manager in developing and writing bids and grant applications for projects.
• Organise community outreach events, workshops, and information sessions to build relationships and encourage support.
• Represent the charity at networking events, conferences, and community forums to develop partnerships and promote the organisation.

About you:

This new position, reporting to the Marketing Manager, requires a dynamic self-starter with excellent communication and networking skills, capable of developing relationships.

Key skills required for this role:

• Experience working in community engagement, business development, or similar roles.
• Experience in identifying, supporting and growing relationships with corporate partners and/or community groups
• Experience organising events and engagement activities.
• Knowledge of developing stakeholder engagement plans/strategies (preferably in the not-for-profit or charitable sectors).
• Confident in delivering engaging presentations and activities to diverse groups of stakeholders.
• An innovative approach to engaging partners and stakeholders with a willingness to try new initiatives.
• An ability to work independently and manage own time, priorities and workload.

Due to project expansion Aquarius Young People’s Substance Misuse Team are recruiting for several Complex Needs Practitioners - Substance Misuse across the county.

Aquarius has been providing structured and targeted interventions to young people engaging in, at risk of substance misuse or affected by parental substance misuse for many years.

You will work on an outreach basis, including visiting schools & colleges, the Children and Families service, the YOT as well as other local community agencies. The role will involve:

• supporting young people away from engaging in substance misuse
• providing young people with skills and coping strategies to manage their recovery journey
• delivering 1-1 and some group work interventions
• targeted outreach to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people
• delivery of service talks and substance misuse presentations to enhance external professional workforce development with our partner agencies.

Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, most work will occur during the day, however as a young people’s service we may occasionally ask you to support out of hours sessional work.

Holding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care or with relevant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care you will also:

• Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community setting.
• Be able to deliver behaviour change support, including group work.
• Be knowledgeable about: safeguarding children, confidentiality, consent and mental capacity and Hidden Harm.
• Adopt a flexible approach to work - hours and locations.

We are seeking a Sex Worker Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (SWISVA) to provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to people involved in sex work, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, including those directly related to sexual violence. You will support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so. You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence, including pathways through the criminal justice processes.  

The post is part of a unique partnership between National Ugly Mugs, Basis Yorkshire and POW (Nottingham) to ensure more specialist support for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence, to develop good practice guidelines, develop and share learning, and to influence change in provisions for sex workers. Each organisation will be employing a SWISVA; the program will be led by a Program Coordinator who will be based with Basis Yorkshire, and who will lead on influencing of policy and sharing of learning to improve outcomes for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence   

The main role responsibilities (further outlined in the job description) are:  

• Oversee a caseload of people who have experienced sexual violence

• Ensure that sex workers have access to specialist sexual violence services, including access to the SARC and support throughout the criminal justice process

• Ensure that safeguarding practice is embedded within working practices to effectively support those at risk 

• Work collaboratively with Police, ISVAs and other colleagues to ensure the needs of sex workers are met and their voices are heard within the criminal justice process 

• Advocate for sex workers wishing to access the specialist service, challenging discrimination, exclusion and stigma both for individuals and within the wider community  

• Ensure the service maintains its strict confidentiality and protects the data of those accessing the service 

• Work collaboratively with peers in the SWISVA Partnership Program and the Program Coordinator to enable the Programme to achieve its wider objectives of quality assurance, development of good practice guidelines, learning, evaluating and influencing  

• To work within POW to support the core services including drop-in and outreach, taking the lead and driving as allocated

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.

We are looking for three Support Workers (Community Connectors – Assessment and Engagement Team) to join our team. We have three positions available in Aylesbury.

Your challenge? To provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. And, all the while, we’ll expect you to operate in a way that recognises and values diversity and understands the functional model of substance use, the Recovery Agenda and the problems caused by alcohol and drug misuse.

Preferably with a NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, or willing to attain this, you are used to working to policy and procedural requirements that include child protection, vulnerable adults, confidentiality and health & safety.

We’ll also be looking for good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and fulfil data requirements. A flexible approach is important too, as is a commitment to taking a client centred approach to providing services and working in a way that recognises and values diversity.

SMART is a vibrant and busy Charity supporting people affected by mental illness. Our main hub is in Chelsea, where we run a number of work and training projects for members to learn new skills; build confidence and; develop a strong network of support. We also work in partnership with members to develop and deliver a programme of social, healthy and holisitic recovery activities in a friendly and enabling environment.  We are looking for a highly organised and experienced administrator who can help us manage all elements of our operations, and provide a welcoming first point of contact to suppliers, referrers and the people we serve. About the role:

Working within a passionate team providing an effective, high quality support service to address the presenting needs of clients with complex needs in relation to poly substance misuse, mental health, and a wide variety of associated issues (including: street activity, offending, physical health, background of complex trauma.)

The primary role of the project is to enable clients to understand their emotional and mental health needs and manage these effectively. Project workers will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships, build social networks and access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.

Project workers will need to be resilient, innovative, flexible and creative. A commitment to working collaboratively and within a recovery framework. There will be an element of housing management work with the expectation that clients manage a successful tenancy before moving on to more independent housing.

The Project Worker role be required to work a rota inclusive of early, lates weekends, on average one weekend in four.

The successful applicant will work alongside our Trustees, our CEO and our existing Head of Fundraising and Communications in a jobshare to meet challenging fundraising targets. You will be joining us at an exciting time of development, as we open at our third site in Islington, welcome new members of staff to our team and begin work on a new strategy for 2025-2028. We have a strong track record of grant fundraising and seek someone who can support us to diversify our income, develop a fundraising strategy with a variety of income streams and bring experience and ideas to raise our profile. Connected Futures is Youth Futures’ systems change programme. It aims to foster joined-up solutions to the complex issues and barriers facing disadvantaged young people.

We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the overall programme management approach for Connected Futures. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop and deliver an approach to programme and project management across Connected Futures. The postholder will take the lead on specific tasks, and coordinate the work of the wider cross-organisational Connected Futures team.

You will liaise with external partners and stakeholders, as well as supporting multiple internal customers and workstreams, often to tight deadlines. You will support key external and internal engagement processes, working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of meetings and capture key decisions and inputs to feed back into programme delivery.

This is primarily a project management role, enabling a cross-functional team to work effectively and efficiently together on a complex, fast-moving and high profile programme. As well as dealing with tasks as they emerge, you will work across the team to keep track of progress, identifying any issues and risks, and enabling the Head of Programmes and other internal stakeholders to gain an overview of the programme as a whole.

This role is fixed term to January 2026 and can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Dive deep to uncover any barriers that stand in their way, helping to remove those barriers to enable them to shine and propelling them on their journey towards amazing outcomes. Responsible for a group of young people, for one-on-one support and guidance or just gently pointing them in the right direction. You'll be on a mission to assist with travel expenses and find clever ways to handle their other commitments. You'll champion their support and learning needs with employers, and you'll be the ultimate liaison, working alongside partners like the job centre to ensure that nothing stands in the way of their success!

You’ll also be the guiding light for our delivery partners and service providers as we want them to deliver the best experience and outcomes for our young people. High-fives all around! Roll up your sleeves and deliver employability sessions directly to our incredible young people. You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

About the role:

We are seeking a committed and resilient Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker to join our dedicated team at our Female Supported Accommodation Service. Our service provides vital support to women facing a range of complex challenges, including homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, and experiences of violence and abuse.

As a Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker, you will:

• Provide specialist interventions and one-to-one support to a caseload of women with complex needs.
• Work within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), utilising trauma-informed practices to support women who may have experienced rough sleeping, domestic violence (DV), or violence against women and girls (VAWG).
• Collaborate with external agencies such as Adult Social Care, Health, Mental Health, and other specialist providers to enhance access to services and improve outcomes.
• Support and guide Project Workers, sharing your expertise and setting best practice standards for complex needs support.
• Advocate for your clients, helping them navigate the health and social care systems to access the services they deserve.
• Work creatively and flexibly to engage with hard-to-reach clients, providing them with the confidence and skills to maintain their progress.

• Experience working with women facing homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, or domestic violence.

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Young Person’s Worker. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing support to at-risk young people who are experiencing homelessness.

Your mission: to support and empower young people to develop the lifelong tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services. You will carry a caseload of clients who you will formulate a comprehensive support and safety plan with, which forms part of the ongoing casework, promoting independence and preparing young people for moving into independent accommodation, and employment and education.

About the Role:

As the Young Person's Worker, you will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to ensure client needs and aspirations are at the centre of the support planning process. You will be the lead worker overseeing the support and development of the young person’s needs and aspirations. You will guide and signpost the young person to the relevant statutory and non statutory services and will be key in motivating and coaching the young person to develop independent living skills.

About you:

• You bring experience working with young people in the community and in accommodation services.
• Your toolkit includes practical skills in motivation and coaching young people
• Your approach is creative, analytical, trauma-informed and rooted in a strengths and recovery model.
• You can creatively inspire opportunities for our young people to thrive and to develop to their highest potential.
• A non-judgmental approach to working with complex needs young people and to promote a strengths-based approach and an understanding of and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
• Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to supporting young people achieve the outcomes and goals we support them to set for themselves.
