About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
About the role
We are seeking a talented Database Officer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about data to play a key role in supporting the charity's mission through data management and analysis.
As a Database Officer, you will help support the final stages of the implementation of Beacon, and then will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and maintenance of the CRM moving forward. You’ll collaborate across departments, manage data imports, ensure data accuracy, and provide valuable insights to improve our engagement with supporters and donors. Your work will contribute to the growth of the charity by enabling data-driven decision-making.
The Database officer will sit within the CoppaFeel! Operations Team and will work closely with the Data and Compliance Manager and the Director of Operations to support the organisation with the roll out of Beacon.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
You will report into The Data and Compliance Manager and sit within the Operations Team.
The Role
Duties & Responsibilities
Database Management:
- Maintain and update the charity's CRM database Beacon, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Manage records, ensuring data is up-to-date and compliant with GDPR regulations.
- Conduct regular data cleaning, deduplication, and quality checks.
- Support integrations between the database and other systems (e.g., email marketing, online donation platforms)
Data Imports and Exports:
- Process and import data from various sources, including fundraising platforms, events, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Extract and segment data for use in fundraising campaigns, communications, and reporting.
- Process and reconcile donations and assist with direct debit and gift aid claims
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports for teams across the charity, including fundraising, marketing, and senior management, using tools such as Excel or CRM reporting functions.
- Provide data analysis and insights to help optimise fundraising and supporter engagement strategies
Data Compliance:
- Ensure all data processing activities are in line with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Maintain and manage consent on the CRM ensuring GDPR compliance
Training and Support:
- Provide database training and support to colleagues, helping them to utilise the CRM effectively.
- Assist with the development and documentation of database procedures and best practices
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience working in a database officer or similar role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Beacon, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Donorfy, or equivalent)
- Proficient in performing data imports, exports, and segmentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Familiarity with GDPR and data protection legislation, with practical experience in ensuring compliance
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical colleagues

About the Team
The Peer Support and Community team at Kinship is dedicated to enhancing the lives of kinship carers across England and Wales by delivering the first national peer support service. With a focus on building and sustaining networks of peer support groups, the team aims to empower kinship carers through access to resources, training, and development opportunities.
By fostering connections within local, regional, and national ecosystems, the team plays a vital role in ensuring that every kinship carer has access to a supportive community.

We prioritize collaboration across various departments, ensuring that support group leaders receive high-quality advice and training, facilitating their sustainability and effectiveness. About the role
This role is community-based and focuses on engaging kinship carers, bringing them together to form Peer Support Groups, and supporting them to achieve independence at which point they will receive ongoing support from our national Hub.
You will do this by working with local authorities, schools, other charities and community groups. Arranging information events such as coffee mornings to engage kinship carers. You’ll create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community for kinship carers, building belonging, resilience, and empowerment.
Funded by the Department of Education, the National Peer Support Service is a game-changing service that creates a sustainable and life-changing legacy. It builds on Kinship’s 10 years of experience in developing peer support groups and two years of delivering a national service that has set up 145 new groups.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an individual located in South East of England, who possesses the drive, passion, and skills to:
- Develop new Peer Support Groups across a diverse range of communities
- Demonstrate the energy and enthusiasm required to achieve key targets and objectives
- Work collaboratively within the Peer Support and Community Team, as well as throughout the broader organisation, to ensure the development of safe and effective support services for the kinship community.
- Maintain current Peer Support Group levels, taking the lead from the national Hub.
- Maintain accurate records that are used to populate reports, identify learning and share key insights across Kinship that allow the organisation to continuously improve our services and products.
You should have experience in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with various community-based stakeholders such as local authorities, health services, schools, charities, and kinship carers. You will need to understand the key success factors involved in establishing and developing new in-person groups in areas of high need, as well as how to support existing groups in their journey towards sustainability.
As a practical thinker, you will work creatively to identify stakeholders and assets in areas of high need. You will build local connections and bring together kinship carers across the region, empowering them to build resilient and robust peer support communities.
You will be confident in building relationships that generate referrals from external stakeholders and in contacting kinship carers directly to secure engagement with local coffee mornings, community, and training events that will help kick-start a thriving peer support group.
As you establish new groups, you will provide support and training to help them lead their groups effectively, and develop their group culture, resilience, and skills to function independently while offering reassurance and support to empower them.
We are ideally looking for candidates based close or within easy reach of our priority development areas in the South East of England which include; Reading, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire, Slough and Hampshire but also able to travel to locations along the M4 corridor.
An essential requirement of the role is to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Key responsibilities:
Service delivery:
- In-person (face-to-face) strategic outreach into local communities including setting up and attending local engagement events.
- Set up and develop sustainable in person peer support groups, initially attending and leading sessions in person before transition to self-sufficiency.
- Working with existing groups that are at risk, closed or need support that need replacing or rejuvenating to maintain DfE service level agreement, in addition to new groups. Targets are subject to change and are not fixed.
- Recruit and retain support group leaders to develop their peer support groups.
- Assist with the delivery of training to support group leaders and groups to become self-sufficient.
- Develop strong boundaries and positive relationships with support group leaders – building resilience, empowerment and community.
- Support established groups (including independent) in your area to access support group leader networks and training (this includes visiting groups in person) to build a peer community.
- Follow (and where appropriate support further development off) the service blueprint to develop sustainable peer support groups.
- Collaborate with the Peer Support Hub team to provide a joined-up and positive user experience for kinship carers.
- Manage special interest groups and regional online groups as required, transitioning to ‘Hub’ team for sustainability and work with partners.
Service quality, development and data management:
- Accurately record all recruitment, contact information and volunteer case management in Salesforce in line with service framework and data protection requirements.
- Ensure accurate data entry in Salesforce to support service performance, evaluation and learning.
- Provide regular reports to ensure targets and SLA are met for the service.
- Support continuous development and improvement of the service (new systems and processes) as required.

Knowledge, abilities, skills and experience (person spec):

· Proven experience in reaching and establishing strong relationships with hidden or underserved communities in person.

· Proven experience of recruiting, managing, training and supporting volunteers in community settings with an emphasis on understanding and working with vulnerable volunteers.
· Proven experience of ensuring outcomes and impacts of services are evidenced through high-quality data collection.
· Evidence of developing and delivering training/support to volunteers, based on the needs of service users (in this case kinship carers).
· Strong facilitation skills and essential experience of peer support or user-led groups with charity beneficiaries.
· Proven experience of using a customer relationship management system effectively (we use Salesforce).
· In-depth understanding of safeguarding particularly around vulnerable families.
· Excellent communication and engagement skills, with good attention to detail.

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. In doing so, you will use your digital communications skills for the better, contributing to the success of the movement and supporting young people to access transformational educational opportunities they would otherwise not have dreamt of.
Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies. Alongside your business-as-usual tasks, you will support the Digital Communications Manager in coordinating with the advancement and admissions teams at each of the 18 UWC schools to run ad-hoc campaigns and manage external stakeholders and partners.

We are looking for a part-time maternity cover Finance Officer to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes medical research charity, Breakthrough T1D.
As one of two Finance Officers you will focus on income processing, credit control and gift aid. Reporting to the Head of Finance, but working closely with the Supporter Care team, this is a key role in contributing towards the smooth operation of the Finance team responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Brand Operations Officer is responsible for managing the distribution of products donated by brands to community-led projects. This role plays a key part in developing and coordinating relationships with key logistics and storage partners.

The Vacancy
The Programme Development Manager is committed to supporting colleagues and partners in programme design and development. The team also connects programmatic issues and global policy and advocacy to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground.
Saferworld’s income is secured primarily from statutory and institutional donors; however, securing funding to support our partners in conflict-affected countries and allow for more flexible programming increasingly requires a more diverse funding base. The Programme Development Manager will support efforts to identify and secure funds from statutory donors, trusts and foundations, and other non-traditional funding mechanisms.
The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes. The successful applicant will have a focus of approximately 4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. Working closely with Country Managers/Directors, and programme and grant management colleagues, the post-holder will lead on: coordinating and facilitating programme development processes (including taking the lead in drafting high quality concept notes and proposals, theories of change, logical models, risk matrixes and budgets); developing and supporting the implementation of long-term country funding strategies and donor engagement strategies; and supporting new donor engagement and sustaining relationships with current donors. About the role

We are seeking an individual located in Greater London, and willing to travel across the South East of England who possesses the drive, passion, and skills to:
· Establish new Peer Support Groups across a diverse range of communities
· Supervise a small team of Peer Support Development Officers

We are ideally looking for candidates based in or around Greater London and willing to work initially across the London Boroughs and into the South East of England. This role may involve work to establish groups on the periphery of this area that currently have no dedicated development staff.

The Evaluation Officer role is a specialist post created to support the management, development and implementation of evaluation programmes across Alzheimer’s Society. The role is pivotal to promoting a culture of continuous improvement across all directorates. The post holder will support the Evaluation and Impact Team in the development and implementation of evaluation and impact measurement programmes for support services, influencing and research activities across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
You are someone who is passionate about making a difference for people affected by dementia and understand the important role that evaluation plays in making this happen. You also appreciate the complexities that come with working in a large and fast-moving organisation but are able to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively to get the job done. We are looking for a quick learner who brings an open mind and lots of enthusiasm.
The successful candidate will benefit from working as part of a small and supportive team, whilst also taking responsibility for a number of their own evaluation projects. They will connect with colleagues across the Society to understand areas of work and develop appropriate evaluation approaches, provide evaluation support and recommendations, report on and share findings.
You are:
- Proficient in Qualitative and Quantitative research approaches in social research
- Able to lead on 2/3 projects simultaneously, using project management approaches.
- Able to apply research methodologyinto practice from scoping projects, to producing reports and making recommendations, aligned to an evidence base and with the Help and Hope strategy
- Aware of differing evaluative approaches and tools.
- Able to facilitate training and focus groups
- Curious, with a problem solving approach to data collection to greater inform decision making

Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our small and busy Housing team in Bethnal Green. We are offering full time or part time roles and the full time equivalent salary is £28,000 per annum , plus benefits including the opportunity for hybrid working.
About the role:
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing a housing management service to the service users living in Vibrance owned and managed services. You will provide support to Vibrance services in relation to health and safety, maintenance, housing law and tenancy issues, rent collection, and arrears management. You’ll also provide specific support and advice to individuals who use Vibrance services with housing matters and money advice.
The Housing Officer role will be supporting our services located across London & South- East England and as such ability to travel is essential.
Responsibilities as our Housing Officer will include:
- Supporting prospective service users (and their carers where appropriate) with all aspects of the moving in/out process, to ensure that people are able to make an informed decision about whether or not to move in or move out
- Ensuring that individuals are maximising their benefits, including supporting them to make claims and liaising with the Dept of Work and Pensions and Housing Benefit staff as necessary
- Providing support to ensure that individuals are able to maintain their tenancies, including debt/arrears management, anti-social behaviour resolution, and the issues that can arise from shared living
- Working alongside our service managers and landlords to ensure that accommodation remains fit for purpose, well maintained, suitable for the individual residents and that all health & safety responsibilities are being met

The UK Men’s Sheds Association (UKMSA) is seeking a skilled and inspirational CEO to lead our charity through the next stage of its development and the continued delivery of our core mission of improving the lives and wellbeing of men (and women) through the Men’s Shed movement across the UK.
We are looking for a Chief Executive with the energy, vision and experience to take on the strategic leadership and direction of our well-respected and fast-growing national charity, which brings tangible benefits to men’s health, mental health and suicide prevention across the UK. Our strategy is one of ambitious targets to support the expansion, reach, diversity and sustainability of the Men’s Shed movement, in line with our vision of happier and healthier men by virtue of reduced loneliness, anxiety and depression, improved wellbeing, and saved lives.
Our new CEO will be a proven and exemplary strategic leader, who will head our mission, guide the team, represent our charity with partners, funders and politicians, and support the Shed Movement we exist to serve. Your track record of inspirational leadership and excellent communications skills will be a key part of building and diversifying our funding (including developing sustainable income growth strategies and bringing in commercial sponsorship), broadening and deepening our partnerships and our relationships with government, and driving our future success. Your experience in executive leadership in the nonprofit sectors will ensure the good management and statutory compliance of UKMSA. We recognise that you may not have a background in the Men’s Shed movement, but your strong emotional intelligence will enable you to quickly develop a good understanding of the community we serve.
Key Skills
• Leadership – the ability to motivate, develop, and deliver through a team of staff and volunteers such that the organisation meets its goals.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills – these will need to be excellent (including written communication) in order to build rapport and effective relationships across a range of people, from our members to the general public, political figures and senior executives in other organisations. As UKMSA’s public face, the CEO must also be adept at showcasing our work, including in the media and to parliamentary and other government bodies.
• Financial Acumen – the CEO will be expected to operate the budget and develop our new strategy for ensuring sustainable income, actively leading the development of corporate sponsorships and other significant income streams.
• Flexibility & Adaptability – the new CEO will be expected to learn about the world of Men’s Sheds quickly, to be able confidently to represent UKMSA and to build strong relationships within the Men’s Shed community (both within the UK and internationally). And as we only have a staff team of 13 (geographically dispersed), it is expected that the CEO will actively engage in some of the more tactical work, including being ‘hands on’ at events.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic social researcher to join our fantastic Surrey Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) team.
Based with Good Company, a local anti-poverty charity, the Community Researcher role would design and conduct research on wider determinants of health (e.g., poverty, food insecurity) and their impacts on health inequalities, with a particular focus on co-production and other forms of participatory research. The wider determinants of health are a diverse range of social, economic and environmental factors which influence people’s mental and physical health. Systematic variation in these factors constitutes social inequality, an important driver of the health inequalities.
In addition, this role would seek to increase the capacity of local voluntary sector organisations to carry out their own participatory research, as well as supporting the HDRC programme team in promoting participatory research methods across Surrey and building the local evidence base on the wider determinants of health.
There will be a second Community Researcher post based with Reigate & Banstead Council which will focus on building the participatory research capacity within the local authority.
About Surrey Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC):
This role would form part of the new and innovative Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) programme funded by the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR). The Surrey HDRC programme is delivered by Surrey County Council, University of Surrey (UoS), alongside local partners Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Good Company and Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF).
Surrey HDRC is designed to boost the capacity of Surrey County Council to do research, together with our communities, with the aim of improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities in Surrey communities. Surrey HDRC will develop a sustainable research culture, build research capacity and capability, and increase our local evidence-base on wider determinants of health.
About this role:
The post holder will be based at Good Company and will work as part of the Surrey HDRC programme team, leading on participatory research and co-production. The role includes:
· Developing a programme of research on wider determinants of health inequalities, with a particular focus on co-production and other forms of participatory research.
· Strengthening the participatory and co-production research capacity across Surrey, with a particular focus on the Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector.
· Actively supporting the wider Surrey HDRC team in promoting the value of participatory research and co-production across Surrey County Council and its partners and building the local evidence-base on the social and wider determinants of health.
The post holder should have demonstrable skills in qualitative research methods, including experience of conducting participatory research. Ideally, they will have an understanding of health inequalities and the social and wider determinants of health. Experience of working or volunteering within a community setting would also be desirable.
