About the Role
Contributing over 50% of the organisation’s fundraised income, this is a new role. Reporting to the Senior Legacy & In Memory Manager, this role is responsible for developing and implementing the legacy marketing and in memory giving programmes, maximising both income sources so that we can deliver more services to veterans. You will be able to make a significant impact and will use your expertise to lead your team in delivering the best supporter experience. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the post holder will work across multiple income streams, to develop innovative products and tools to engage our supporters and maximise and grow our income generation strategy and lifetime value of our supporters. Strategy & Budget Management
● Work with the Head of Fundraising to deliver a strategy and Ops plan that covers Community, Events, Mass, and third-party Fundraising.
● Support the Fundraising Executive to project manage an existing portfolio of events and introduce new products to grow the programme, incorporating digital/virtual fundraising.
● Review the portfolio of events and build new income generation opportunities for 25/26 and beyond to uplift income and grow supporter participation.
● Set, monitor, and report against budget figures, feeding into forecasting and monthly KPIs, and reporting any concerns to the Head of Fundraising.
● Lead the development and growth strategy for third-party relationships and high-value community supporters.
● Undertake regular reviews of activity including ROI analysis, report progress v budget, and implement actions as required.
● Lead on Identifying new opportunities for community grant funding including but not limited to supermarkets, round tables, rotary, masons, golf clubs, sports clubs, and schools.
● To provide excellent analysis, evaluation, and reporting on fundraising activity to the Head of Fundraising, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for future activity.

Engagement Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the South West and Channel Islands engagement team to support the charity’s exciting work in Guernsey.
This is a part-time role offering remote working.
Position: S11234 Engagement Officer
Location: Home-based, Guernsey, as part of the South West & Channel Islands locality team. However, extensive national travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week
Salary: £20,938 per annum (FTE circa £34,800 per annum)
Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027.

The Role
Reporting to the Engagement Lead for the South West and Channel Islands, the Engagement Officer will work with colleagues across the locality to deliver against engagement activity.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Leading the involvement of people affected by stroke to prioritise our work and improve the experience of people affected by stroke.
• Development of the Stroke Group Network in Guernsey.
• Working with health care professionals, including clinicians, managers and leads.

The Role

Working in a friendly team of 4, reporting to the Head of HR and working with the HR Coordinator and HR Administrator, you will be a vital part of the HR function with a focus on the specific projects but must have a flexible approach and be able to change priorities as required, supporting the team with other activities, including but not limited to: recruitment, induction, employee relations matters, learning & development and manager upskilling.
