Your Role as HR and Volunteering Manager

In this pivotal volunteer role, you'll be instrumental in crafting and nurturing our team's spirit. Working closely with our leadership, you’ll develop and implement HR strategies to build, manage, and empower our volunteer community. Your responsibilities include:

  • Volunteer Recruitment: Design and execute creative strategies to attract a diverse, dedicated pool of volunteers who are as passionate about our mission as you are.

  • Volunteer Onboarding & Training: Develop comprehensive induction programs and training sessions that ensure every volunteer feels equipped, welcomed, and valued.

  • HR Policy Development: Craft and refine pioneering HR policies that support a culture of inclusivity, fairness, and excellence within our start-up environment.

  • Team Engagement & Support: Foster an environment that nurtures collaboration and celebrates each volunteer's contribution, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.

  • Performance & Development: Implement processes for regular feedback, recognition, and continuous professional growth, ensuring our team is constantly evolving.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with our leadership to align HR directives with our operational ambitions, establishing a foundation that propels SUNSHINE’s mission forward.
