The role
FareShare believes that no good food should go to waste and is currently undertaking an expansion plan that will see us strive ever closer to that vision. As the Deputy Warehouse Manager you will be at the forefront of making this happen. As the Deputy Warehouse Manager you will oversee the warehouse and successfully manage day to day operations, as well as developing and implementing new operational practices, efficiencies and standards to as part of the management team. Food Safety and Health & Safety are at our core. You will be part of a management team responsible for the compliance in these areas, ensuring the safe storage and transport of the food, plus the safety and wellbeing of all RC staff, volunteers and visitors. Inherent within our mission is to ensure no good food goes to waste, so you will use your skills and expertise to minimise waste by working with our partners to ensure when food arrives and leaves the warehouse it is fit for consumption.
Main areas of responsibility
Operations
- Part of a management structure accountable for the day-to-day performance of the warehouse;
- Part of a management structure responsible for the development and management or resource plans to meet fluctuating food volumes, CFM demands, volunteer availability and growth plans;
- Part of a management structure for logistics planning to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective distribution of food to meet CFM needs;
- Analyse performance, food volumes, waste and volunteer requirements against KPI’s and produce reports as required by the East Anglia Regional Manager;
- Manage and provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers in the warehouse;
- Contribute to continuing innovation of operational efficiencies to achieve growth plans;
- Support the minimising of waste whilst achieving required targets for food volumes;
Standards
- Part of a management structure accountable for ensuring the FSEA warehouse and logistics operate within the guidance of FSUK policies and procedures,
- Ensure the high standard of attainment is delivered in all external and internal audits. Plus fully participate in any other audit, as required by food partners or external parties.

- Significant warehouse experience with minimum 3 years leading a team

Our client is currently recruiting for a Digital Communications Lead, an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to lead their website and digital channel development. This role would help deliver the Trust's new strategy to support their vision of a Sussex rich in wildlife, valued and protected by everyone.
Responsibilities
- Develop, oversee and manage the Trust's website, with responsibility for content, design and user experience optimisation.
- Develop and oversee external e-newsletters, to include management of audience lists and staff training.
- Develop and oversee the Trust’s online community via social media channels to broaden awareness of the Trust’s work with existing and new, diverse audiences
- Implement and utilise monitoring to further engagement and protect the Trust’s reputation.
- Develop and oversee the digital support and content across the Trust’s projects in collaboration with the appropriate department or project manager.
- Measure website performance through an in-depth understanding of analytics and campaign tracking. Make evidence-based recommendations to continuously improve website performance & user experience
- Work effectively to assist Trust staff to understand online issues, solutions and techniques.
- Develop and oversee the relationships with external website contractors.
- Create graphic resources and digital assets.
- Support the Fundraising and Communications team and colleagues as required.

The role will also involve assisting with the Foundation’s digital marketing outreach.
JOB PURPOSE
- To support overseeing the Foundation’s presence on the Club website, ensuring it amplifies the Foundation’s voice and fosters meaningful connections and engagement with all stakeholders.
- To develop and help maintain the Foundation’s social media presence – this is an exciting time to get involved, with the Foundation discussing its launch on Instagram and some other major platforms.
- To play a key supporting role in email marketing and provide analysis reports on all things digital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Foundation’s growing fundraising & communications team to develop digital and social media strategies that meet the organisation’s objectives.
- Produce high-quality digital content in the form of videos, infographics and more.
- Maintain on brand and up-to-date presence for the Foundation on the Club website.
- Provide support in the implementation of email marketing to key Foundation audiences.
- Produce regular analysis reports, utilising data and responding to what it tells us.
- Spend time working at Foundation activities and across Club sites to understand what stories there are to tell and how we can best share them.

Pace supports around 600 children and young people a year across the following services.
- Our independent, highly specialist, Ofsted-outstanding school, catering for children with cerebral palsy (CP) and other similar sensory motor disorders.
- Our Child & Family Therapy Service, providing advice, assessments and sessional therapy to children (aged 0-18) and support for families. Alongside CP and sensory motor disorders, our therapy service caters for children with a wider variety of needs, including autistic spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, social emotional and mental health challenges, behavioural challenges and school refusers. Our early intervention provision supports babies and toddlers (aged 0-3) known to have, or at high risk of a neurodiasbility.

As a Trusts and Foundations Manager you will be at the heart of our strategic vision. You will lead on building new and stewarding existing relationships to secure substantial funding from Trust and Foundations to support our core services, across Child and Family Therapy Services and the School. What you will be working on:
- You’ll secure significant income from a portfolio of Charitable Trusts and Foundations against agreed annual targets and in line with Pace strategy.
- You’ll proactively identify, develop and support relationships with Charitable Trusts and Foundations (including with their trustees and officers) and provide exceptional ongoing stewardship.
- You’ll collaborate with Pace Trustees and Patrons, the senior leadership team and cross-functional teams, including, Pace School, Child and Family Therapy Services, fundraising and marketing, to support funding applications, data collection/monitoring and impact reporting.
- You’ll adhere to the highest standards of fundraising best practice as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Practice and ensure that all activities comply fully with the relevant Data Protection and any other legislation.
- You’ll manage a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser (currently on maternity leave) and deputise for the Head of Income Generation if appropriate.
