You will support our Fundraising Director in effective management of the fundraising teams across our UK centres, and the central expertise in Trusts, Major Gifts and Partnerships.

Your responsibilities

• You will support our Fundraising Director in managing and delivering our fundraising objectives and targets for the UK
• Supporting our Fundraising Director in managing, developing and stewarding key high value donor relationships, key stakeholders, and senior volunteers
• Assist our Fundraising Director in managing their workload, managing all mail, correspondence, email and telephone contacts, diary management and travel plans
• You will routinely manage the monthly collecting of reports or data required to produce pipelines and forecasting
• In the absence of the Fundraising Director, you will be responsible for communicating with key stakeholders – utilising their highly developed interpersonal skills to receive and provide complex information

We’re looking for someone who can lead, manage and develop a UK wide Personal assistance grants programme, including emergency grants, that supports people living with Parkinson’s in the greatest financial need, providing items, services and home adaptations that help  people live better with Parkinson’s or help them access activities that increase their physical activity or improve their well-being. 

About the role 

You will be responsible for all aspects of communicating about, operational administration of and monitoring, evaluation and reporting for the programme.  Using data and insights to analyse the efficiency and impact of the awards made, you will recommend development of programme principles, criteria and operational delivery processes.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the operational management and delivery of the end to end Personal Assistance Grants programme process whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships
• Manage all required records and systems for grants awarded including financial requirements
• Lead and develop sustainable volunteer grants panel involvement that is representative of the communities the charity aims to support
• Manage and develop systems to monitor, review and evaluate the efficiency of the grants process and impact of grants awarded and recommend ongoing improvements
• Create relevant and appropriate communications, marketing and reports for the programme for a range of audiences and purposes

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively and manage competing time pressures
• Demonstrable experience of developing and managing operational activities and raising quality standards with a solution focused approach to problem solving

Events & Services Executive

Role Description

We are looking for a senior leader, with extensive experience in education project and/or programme management, who can lead a fast-growing team within a mission-driven organisation. You will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, in particular working closely with the interim CEO, the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Impact and the charity’s Senior Programmes Leaders. You will have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees and the unique opportunity to fundamentally shape the organisation and its direction.

The Chief Programmes Officer will be responsible for all aspects of programme delivery, including providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the programmes delivery team, business development and stakeholder management with new partners in further education, and reviewing and improving delivery across all our programmes. You will work closely with the Director of Impact to refine and implement our approach to programme quality and impact to ensure we are providing the most effective programmes for the students we support. You will play a leadership role in the overall direction of the charity and work with the CEO, the Chief Operations Officer and the Director of Impact to ensure that the systems, processes, and ways of working for the Programmes Team are in place to ensure effective programme delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

• Working closely with the CEO, the Chief Operations Officer and the Director of Impact to provide overall leadership for the organisation, deliver the organisation’s new five-year strategy, and embed its values.
• Regularly updating the board on programme delivery and developments through participation in full Board and subcommittee meetings.
• Deputising for the CEO as needed, internally or externally, representing Get Further in public forums, with senior stakeholders, and with external organisations.

Business development and sales:

• Planning, leading and engaging in sales activity to ensure Get Further meets its goals for growth in terms of college partnerships and student numbers and secures new partnerships in key regions and areas for expansion.
• Line managing Senior Programmes Leaders, supporting their development and the delivery of KPIs with regards to college sales and renewals.
• Working closely with the Senior Marketing and Communications Officer to ensure a joined-up and impactful approach to sales and marketing, including through conference attendance and participation, social media, webinars.

Programme delivery:

• Strategic leadership of the Programmes Team (currently a team of 10 full-time staff), including ensuring that the team has the culture, working environment and professional development opportunities to ensure they are well-equipped to deliver high quality programmes and to meet our delivery KPIs.
• Overseeing efficient delivery of every aspect of each programme cycle, from liaising with the Chief Operations Officer to set and ensure achievement of targets for recruiting and training tutors, to leading the team to deliver on tuition logistics (including clear and timely student, tutor and college communications), and reporting on our impact to our partners in further education, ensuring programmes are high-quality and impactful for students and partners.
• Identifying and rolling out developments to programme delivery that help to improve our ways of working at scale, to enable the team to deliver now and in the future.

Programme quality and impact:

• Working closely with Get Further’s Director of Impact and the wider Impact Team to develop and deliver our processes for monitoring and evaluating the impact of our programmes, including communicating our results with existing and potential partners in further education to support the charity to meet its wider objectives.
• Ensuring Get Further’s approach to curriculum, assessment and tutor training continue to develop and improve with insights from our impact data, including line management of our Maths and English Curriculum Managers.
• Holding the relationship with Get Further’s subject advisory groups.

External relationships:

• Building relationships and our brand across the further education, charity and policy sectors.
• Leading on the delivery of a FE Advisory Group that provides advice and guidance to the charity to ensure programme delivery continues to move from strength to strength.
• Supporting with fundraising and advocacy as needed.

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL

• A deep interest and commitment to Get Further’s mission, including the drive to expand our work and the ability to articulate and pitch our programmes authentically.
• An excellent track record of sales within the education sector (minimum two years’ experience of directly selling programmes within education) and skilled in designing and delivering business development plans and/or marketing strategies.
• Extensive experience in leading and improving programme delivery, including the ability to galvanise colleagues to reach annual KPIs.
• Organisational and project management skills, to plan and make strategic decisions to prioritise and optimise time and budget.
• Successful leadership and management of a diverse and growing team, supporting personal development of team members and developing colleagues to foster high performance.
• A confident communicator who enjoys building networks, influencing, and promoting programmes passionately, with the ability to adapt content, tone and delivery of written and oral communications to the needs of the audience.
• A proactive problem solver, able to spot inefficiencies and identify emerging risks early, and propose solutions as they arise.

Job Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for post-production edits of video deliverables. The candidate must be a visual storyteller, capable of delivering compelling and engaging stories about the IRC’s response to emergencies and crises and the people who are impacted.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Content, collaborating with the Sr. Video Editor, video editor, freelance editors, and producers on editing and delivering video products that will be used for major integrated priorities and campaigns for all marketing efforts and audience segments.

 Major Responsibilities

● Deliver finished video for various platforms and distribution needs, which includes editing together raw footage and audio, photo stills, graphics, adapting archival video, and versioning

● Collaborate with Content team, Creative & Content Studio, and stakeholders on creative idea pitches, and deliver on creative briefs

● Source broll for video projects, campaigns, external vendors and partners via internal library and paid footage

● Onboard vendors/freelancers/agencies

● Searching for stock music tracks based on references or direction

● Color correct footage

● Time manage assigned tasks

● Maintain and add to roster of vendor talent, including videographers, editors, sound engineers, graphic artists, narrators, translators, transcription services, musicians, colorists, coordinating with the content team

● Supports in storage and organization of all video content, backups, and gear updates/repairs/rentals meet, as well as procurement of new equipment meet standards, in collaboration with the Video Producer and Multimedia Producer

● Ensure videos meet brand guidelines

Job Requirements:

● Portfolio of work, including short-form social media videos, long-form documentary style, commercials, and/or fundraising appeals, etc.

● Use a variety of technical skills and software to complete production, including Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere, and After Effects

● Experience in sound design, color correction/grading, video quality enhancement, and/or graphics/animation

● A problem solver who’s able to navigate complexity and ambiguity to get to the heart of and cultivate a great story

● Experience supporting projects and collaborating with multiple internal and external partners.

We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region. 
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.

The opportunity

The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.

Responsibilities

The key requirements of the role are:

 Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Lead the recruitment process for IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders in assigned regions.

• Collaborate with local services to identify staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

• Support services by conducting interviews, shortlisting, and making hiring recommendations.

• Identify where IPS services can coordinate, combine recruitment efforts and facilitate links to ensure a joined-up approach.

• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-fidelity IPS services.

Training and Development:

• Deliver comprehensive training programs for new IPS Employment Specialists.

• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new hires during their first year.

• Identify and address training needs, offering additional resources and workshops as necessary.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback.

• Enrol IPS workforce members in e-learning training programmes and the accredited qualification.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders, including IPS services, ICBs leads and NHS Regional Leads.

• Support with workforce planning with services.

• Attend and contribute to regional meetings, sharing insights and updates on workforce development initiatives.

Quality Assurance and Reporting:

• Ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and training processes align with IPS Grow's quality assurance standards.

• Collect and analyse data related to workforce development activities, providing regular reports to the Workforce Manager.

• Identify challenges and propose solutions to improve recruitment and training outcomes.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Regional Managers and Regional Leads to ensure joined up and timely support for services in the region.

• Work closely with the Workforce Manager and other Workforce Leads to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

• Contribute to internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and presentations.

About the role

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

South & West Yorkshire is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Sheffield and Leeds hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

Candidates should live within South & West Yorkshire, in one of the following counties: Bradford, Doncaster, Halifax, Leeds, Sheffield, Oldham or Wakefield.
