As a QEHB Charity Senior Corporate Fundraiser you will primarily be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in Edgbaston, with frequent travel off site to attend meetings and events.
You will be key in helping to build new relationships with corporates across the region and nationally as well as nurture existing supporters.
This role is for someone with considerable experience in corporate fundraising (ideally 3-5 years) within a Charity with a proven track record of delivering on income targets and proactively generating fundraising leads and ideas.
The Senior Fundraiser will work closely with other members of the hospital charity and will be responsible for delivering demanding fundraising targets from corporate supporters and local businesses.
This role will cover fundraising for all aspects of the hospital, including the hospital charity’s work with military patients.
This role will be responsible for designing and implementing new fundraising projects to offer our corporate donors, with the aim of driving income and increasing engagement across the four hospitals.
As well as generating a substantial income stream for the Charity, the successful candidate will also work alongside the Communications Team to design a communications strategy that increases both engagement and income generation.
The post holder will also be involved in the organisation and delivery of fundraising events for the Charity. This role will involve regular evening and weekend work at charity events and events organised by our supporters.

SWEDA is growing fast. Since the pandemic, the number of children, young people and adults who need our support has grown exponentially. An estimated 1.25m people in the UK have an eating disorder, and an NHS mental health questionnaire in 2023 found that 59.4% of 17-19 year olds ‘screened positive’ for having eating problems.
We have responded by expanding geographically (into Bristol and South Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire), developing our children and young people’s services and investing in the development of a fundraising team. Our Head of Fundraising has been in post for just over a year and our Fundraising & Communications Officer joined in January 2024. Now we need a Fundraising Manager to help us develop and grow our community fundraising to diversify our income and secure SWEDA’s future. We are a small and friendly team and will make you feel very welcome.
Your role will be to help us devise and deliver community and individual fundraising campaigns, secure and cultivate corporate partnerships and forge relationships with schools and other community partners. You will also recruit and manage a team of volunteers to fundraise and raise awareness. You will be someone who loves meeting people and is ambitious and driven to achieve results. You will have lots of enthusiasm, energy and ideas. You will be comfortable trying new things and in being adaptable; we want to scale our public fundraising activity and are applying a ‘test and learn’ approach. The primary objective will be to raise funds to support our life transforming work, but also to raise awareness and understanding of eating disorders, and help establish SWEDA as the eating disorder specialist across the South & West.
We are looking for a candidate who has the necessary skills and experience to fulfil the following role:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, lead and deliver on income generation plans for individuals (including regular giving and appeals), community and corporate fundraising to grow SWEDA’s income year on year.
- Forge and cultivate relationships with supporters – individuals and businesses – in person, on the phone and through SWEDA’s communications channels.
- Maintain a clear focus on acquisition across community, corporate and individuals, with dedicated time for proactive prospect research.
- Monitor, evaluate and report against agreed performance indicators
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and other team members to maximise income generation opportunities
- Develop a network of volunteers to support cost effective and successful public fundraising activity.
- Drive innovation to improve fundraising practice, increase ROI and test new approaches to raise money.
- Use data insight to drive decision making and improve performance.
- Plan and implement an effective stewardship plan which prioritises personalised long term relationships.
- Effectively use the CRM to record and manage your work, capture donor information/consents and support strategic planning.

About the role
- The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a workforce development plan to grow and maintain a workforce to enable an all year-round multi-sport offer in our priority places.
- The post holder will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of the StreetGames Workforce Development offer for the network of over 400 locally trusted organisations (LTOs) in London & the Southeast.
- The post holder will work with LTOs in the StreetGames network to enable them able to access workforce development opportunities that helps them to build capability and capacity, so they are better able to utilise the power of sport to transform young lives & underserved communities – which is core to the StreetGames mission and collective End Game.
- The post holder will work together with the StreetGames training academy and the network support teams to ensure that all LTOs in the network can access the StreetGames core offer appropriate to their workforce needs.

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead the efficient and effective management of the PSHE Association’s business and services, including oversight of the business pipeline and financial functions.
The PSHE Association is the national body for PSHE (personal, social, health and economic) education – the school curriculum subject that supports children and young people's mental and physical health, relationships, safety, economic wellbeing and careers.
A charity and membership organisation, the Association supports a national network of over 50,000 teachers and schools with resources, training, guidance and advice. The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and building funding partnerships, overseeing external communications, and spearheading grant applications. The Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Managing Director to develop and execute the fundraising strategy.
- Manage existing funding partnerships and establish new relationships to further Ashinaga UK’s mission.
- Secure partnerships with corporations, foundations, individual donors, and UK universities.
- Identify new funding opportunities, cultivate relationships, write proposals, and report on progress.
- Write high-quality grant proposals to secure funding from grant-making bodies.
- Oversee the partnerships database, donor reporting, and contribute to the annual Charity Commission trustee report.
- Create external communication materials, including website content and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with key team members to develop partnerships related to scholarship programming and opportunities for scholarship recipients.
- Plan and coordinate external-facing events, such as donor receptions, corporate sponsor events, and webinars to enhance engagement and raise awareness of Ashinaga UK's mission.

Job purpose:
The Website Content Manager will lead on the content strategy for our new and improved website - delivering engaging content which inspires our audiences to take action from praying to donating in order for Muslim Hands to continue it’s lifesaving work. The Website Manager will have oversight of all pages, from blogs to appeals, responsible for optimising our each for SEO and CRO.
Main responsibilities:
- Produce and publish new pages from appeals to blogs in line with the organisation’s needs – this includes copywriting and liaising with designers for creative.
- Create and deliver the website content strategy inline with our key fundraising touchpoints – delivering an approach which puts the audience at the centre of our plans.

ABOUT THE ROLE
People who work in operations have a multiplier effect, increasing the efficiency of their colleagues within the organisation by constructing processes that ensure the organisation operates smoothly and at top capacity. Though it took Sadie years to admit this to Sam, Marx did prove incredibly useful that summer. No, Marx wasn’t a game designer. He wasn’t an ace programmer, like Sadie, and he couldn’t draw, like Sam. But he did almost everything else for them, and his contributions ranged from the pedestrian, but necessary, to the creatively essential. Marx organised workflow, so Sadie and Sam were more aware of what the other was doing and what they needed to be doing. He made long lists of supplies they would need. The Operations team provides operational support to AIM (e.g., human resource management, finance, productivity). The team also supports our incubated charities, assisting with their initial set-up after the program so they can hit the ground running, as well as ongoing ad-hoc requests and advice as needed. Added to this, Operations supports other participants in programs run by AIM(e.g., people completing fellowships with our research team). While this is less than for the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, it increases as these programs mature.
Our Operations team currently consists of ~2.8 FTE – our Chief Operating Officer (previous Managing Director and CTO of Founders Pledge), our Director of Operations (with a mixed background in legal services, management consulting, and scale-up operations), and a Senior Operations Manager (with a background in risk and security management in low- and middle-income countries). The team also relies on external contractors for some of its functions (e.g., bookkeeping, legal advice).

APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you.
