Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Support Administrator to oversee the development and optimization of buildings within the Hackney cluster of a strategic funded programme. This cluster of churches in the Catholic tradition are working collaborative on a new mission project in the North-East Hackney area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings are maintained to the highest standards and provide ongoing support to the local clergy.
You will be supporting churches in the Hackney area, working one day per week at St James Clapton with the remaining hours supporting other local churches.
Job responsibilities
Administrative

Oversee maintenance of all equipment and buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulation e.g. photocopiers, boiler servicing, gas and electrical safety.

Maintain building related records & liaise with Building Development Consultants.

Administer Church bookings – including managing the bookings diary, dealing with enquiries, taking and confirming bookings on a selective basis depending on the suitability of the event/group. Invoice all bookings and record payments.

Act as main contact point with tenants of church properties. Ensure we meet our landlord obligations, rent and utilities payments are collected on time, contracts are kept up to date and renewed as necessary

About the Investment Team
The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.
The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. Job description – Investment Director
The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.
Investment Directors use strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and senior relationship skills to support a portfolio of amazing organisations that, together, will help shift the life chances and outcomes of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK.
Key responsibilities
Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio
- Identifying potential charitable organisations for investment.
- Leading in-depth due diligence process to assess and build partnership foundations with potential partners – covering leadership and governance, and their impact, scale, and partnership potential.
- Modelling from first contact of origination, our approach to engaged and trust-based investment management support.

The Role

Role Overview
In this role, you will take a holistic approach to supporting clients, helping them engage with third-party agencies to address the broader issues contributing to food insecurity. You'll work closely with referral partners, community groups, and volunteers to offer personalised, non-judgemental support. Your focus will be on empowering clients to overcome challenges, improve their well-being, and become more self-sufficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trust with clients by providing personalised, respectful, and non-judgemental support.
- Work with partner agencies to identify clients with additional support needs and refer them to appropriate services.
- Train and support volunteers to identify clients' welfare needs and engage with SADFB’s services.
- Maintain strong relationships with support agencies, ensuring effective signposting and referrals.
- Attend local events and forums to promote SADFB’s services and raise awareness.
- Create and distribute materials to help volunteers with signposting.
- Monitor and report on client outcomes, service effectiveness, and equal opportunities.

About You You’ll have experience working in social care, mental health, or community support, ideally within the voluntary, community, or social enterprise sector (VCSE). The position of Event Manager is a central role within the Foundation, not only driving the Foundation forward in both fundraising and awareness but keeping the cogs turning in all aspects from administrative detail to event organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Leading development, delivery and execution of the LGF events programme, consisting of already established major donor events and a focus on improving the range of events for a wide general audience that maximises fundraising and drives supporter engagement.

In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.
The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels. As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work.
The role will suit a passionate and creative individual who thrives on working collaboratively and who is able to manage end to end projects and supplier relationships. There will be a need to analyse data to monitor performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities. Fulfilment mapping is also a key element of the role as well as being comfortable presenting in person to colleagues and suppliers.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.
