About LMK
Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships.
Using film and guided discussions, our workshop Leaders support children and young people in honest conversations about relationships and leave them better equipped to spot the early warning signs of abuse, inspiring them to enjoy healthy, fulfilling relationships. We explore the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and include practical lessons young people want to learn about (like consent) and practice scenarios in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
LMK is a learning organisation and prides itself in supporting leaders to develop their skills. We offer training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, as well as peer-to-peer learning and reflective practice sessions.
About LMK Leaders
LMK Leaders are passionate and organised educators who run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable workshops, Leaders help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe.
Expectations of LMK Leaders
- Always adhere to LMK and host organisations health & safety and safeguarding practices and procedures.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries with young people, peers, and professionals.
- Respond to comms (emails/WhatsApp) sent out by LMK team members in a timely manner, to support planning and organising of sessions.
- Plan and deliver interactive LMK workshops in educational and community settings in line with LMK delivery style and ethos.
- Meet with co-facilitators to carry out pre-session planning, minimum three working days before delivery.
- Use your experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly.
- Ensure all youth participants and the adults in school/community organisations who attend a LMK workshop complete the post session feedback surveys.
- Complete a reflective post session Leader survey after each workshop to support practice and programme development.
- Debrief with LMK’s Programme Development Manager and provide ongoing feedback about your sessions through LMK’s reflective practice processes.
- Accommodate a maximum of two workshop observations by LMK staff/supporters per academic year, designed to bolster our funding and thought leadership strategy.
- Undertake relevant training associated with LMK’s work, including but not restricted to diversity and inclusion, safeguarding, violence against women and girls (VAWG).
- Undertake at least one quality assurance observation per year, completed by an LMK Programme Development Manager, and enhance practice via developmental feedback.
- Continue to learn about and develop your skills on the issues affecting young people’s relationships including domestic violence, abuse, adverse childhood experiences, trauma informed practice, gang culture and grooming, mental health, sexual exploitation, consent, sharing of nudes /sexting, bullying in person and online, tech and online safety, pornography.
- Share your knowledge and expertise by providing feedback and, where requested, co-designing training and educational resources on issues affecting young people and their relationships.
- Mandatory attendance of termly virtual Leader huddles and reflective sessions to remain connected to peers and organisational values, mission, purpose and operational matters.
- Contribute towards and keep up to date with LMK internal/external communications platforms, such as LMK newsletters and social media.
- Engage with LMK’s Youth Advisory Board Members, if and when invited to do so.
- Lead by example and promote healthy relationship behaviours in your own lives/communities and within LMK (team player; acknowledging and working with diversity; being receptive to new ideas and developmental feedback, etc)
- Use your own networks to recruit new schools and youth groups into the programme.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (10 to 24 yrs old) in educational or community settings.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.
- Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.
- A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.
- Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants.
Must also:
- Be entitled to work in the UK.
- Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to let LMK undertake a check on your behalf.
- Have a recent safeguarding qualification from a recognised provider or be willing to undertake additional training in this area.
- Be flexible to work non-traditional, after-school and occasional weekend / holiday hours.

We are seeking our first Philanthropy Manager to cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of donors and prospective donors (including alumni and other individuals, companies and charities) to generate major gifts £10,000 - £1 million+ for the Trust.
The successful candidate will join a small Executive Team of two (Director and Stewardship Officer) and work closely with our newly appointed Chair (from 6 July 2025), the Board of Trustees, and members of its sub-committee for Alumni Relations, Fundraising and Communications.

Reporting to: Director of the Kennedy Memorial Trust (KMT)
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week. We understand that full-time hours may not suit all candidates, so there is some flexibility in the hours and work schedule.

Compensation: Salary £45,000 FTE, 30 days holiday plus bank hols (FTE) and 8% employer pension contribution after 3 months’ service
Location: Home-based but within easy access to London. The post holder can work on a hybrid basis, combining predominately home-working with regular in-person meetings in London. Travel from home to London for work and meetings will be paid in accordance with any expenses policies in force at the time.
The role involves some travel, in addition to the London working requirement, for meetings/events with donors, scholars, trustees and other stakeholders – ie monthly within the UK and twice a year to the US. There will also be occasional evening and weekend commitments.

The role
1. Fundraising activity
Contribute to the development of the new fundraising strategy.
Research, identify and pursue fundraising opportunities that meet the Trust’s strategic objectives.
Lead one-on-one and small group meetings with Trustees and key supporters to identify, develop and deliver fundraising objectives.
Assist Trustees in developing and maintaining their portfolios of prospects and donors.
Write compelling fundraising proposals and applications for funding, including bespoke proposals tailored to specific individuals.
Initiate and nurture relationships with potential high-level donors aiming to establish a strong and long-term philanthropic relationship
Lead one-on-one and small group meetings with high-level donors and potential donors and ask them for significant financial contributions.

2. Processes and Procedures
Ensure the Trust is compliant with all relevant aspects of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and the Charity Commission.
Maintain a professional approach to handling sensitive and confidential information, complying with privacy and data protection legislation.
Maintain the Trust’s suite of policies and procedures related to fundraising and donor engagement.
Actively engage in external networks to identify new prospective donors.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly fundraising performance reports and present progress to the trustee board and its committe
Accurately record donor interactions in the CRM database and contribute to improving data management and analysis processes.
Regularly update the Executive team on fundraising activities and seek their input and support as needed.
Work closely with the Stewardship Officer to develop and implement solicitation and stewardship plans for donors and prospects.
Participate in team decision-making by suggesting creative solutions and engaging in strategic planning discussions.
Any other duties which may be required by the Director.

Experience and education required:
Experience of professional fundraising, with a track record of successfully securing major (£10k+) gifts from individuals, Foundations and businesses.
Educated to degree level
Experience of delivering a fundraising programme and pipeline to meet financial targets.
Experience identifying, negotiating and managing resource requirements in support of fundraising activity
Experience of having worked with high-level donors
Demonstrable understanding of higher education in UK and US
Demonstrable understanding of data protection/ Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and the Charity Commission.
High computer literacy in standard office packages and experience in using databases.

- Indirect (matrix) management of the in-country Foundation Coordinators.
- Key member of the broader UK Management team.
- Support the COO and Chair of Trustees with the overall Governance framework of the charity including standards, processes and reporting.
- Primary point of contact for the board of Trustees day-to-day, supporting the Chair of the Trustees in the coordination and administration of Board activity.
- Lead on development, oversight and operation of charity standards, processes and systems.
- Work alongside the charities dedicated Finance Officer in ensuring good financial management of income and expenditure through planning, approvals, and processes.
- Attend a variety of external charitable, donor, and operational events or locations as required from time to time.
- Work closely with supporting departments like Finance, Marketing, and Travel Operations on all charity related matters.
- Handle day-to-day enquiries, questions, and issues related to the Foundation.
2. Programme Delivery (delivered by the Programme Officer)
- Ensure that a clear, documented process is in place for receiving, triaging, and managing requests related to volunteer projects and charity support.
- Lead the prioritisation process for articulated charitable requests, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained and properly documented.
- Support strong project management throughout the planning and delivery of approved charitable projects.
- Ensure a robust MEAL [Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning] process is in place for measuring and reporting on the impact of the charity’s work with its beneficiaries, donors, and trustees.
3. Fundraising (with support from the COO & Trustees)
- Responsible for the developing and managing the Fundraising Opportunities Portfolio ensuring all stakeholders have clear visibility of funding gaps and opportunities for current and prospective donors.
- Responsible for leading on developing fundraising activities as informed by the Fundraising Strategy to drive income and cover operational expenditure.
- Maintain strong Donor relationships and develop grant applications adding to support a healthy funding pipeline to ensure we meet the charities fundraising targets.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure effective marketing and social media strategies in are in place and to maximise the opportunities they provide.
What We’re Looking For:
Due to the breadth of this role, we would only expect an incumbent to have relevant experience in 2 of the 3 core elements of the role as a minimum, but with a strong desire to develop and learn in the 3rd with dedicated support.

Sutton Community Works (SCW) is a Christian charity in South London. Sutton Foodbank is one of our faith in action projects and we are looking for a dedicated manager to oversee the smooth delivery of this amazing project supported by almost 100 volunteers!
Our vision is for our faith in action projects to contribute to a safe and flourishing community in Sutton.
Our work focuses on areas including food poverty, young people, rough sleepers and homelessness. In all our work, our ethos is to love God and others in all we do and say, ensuring people feel seen, heard, understood, and helped.
Sutton Foodbank has been helping people in food crisis since 2009, and supported nearly 4000 adults and children in 2024. We are open 5 times per week across 4 different venues and people are referred to by referral partners across the borough. Details of our sessions can be found on Sutton Foobank website.
Sessions are run by our dedicated volunteers who come from local churches; and our dependable warehouse, restocking and transport volunteers always ensure food gets safely to where it is needed.
People visiting the foodbank come from a vast variety of backgrounds but all have faced difficult life experiences. Beyond food, we also want people to access support to improve their situation, so we commision Citizens Advice to come to the foodbank sessions to help people maximise their income and provide advice on topics such as housing, debt and benefits.
And as a Christian project we underpin everything with prayer, and actively offer prayer to our clients too. The genuine care and compassion from our volunteers helps to build trusting relationships so we can more effectively listen, pray and signpost people to other support.
As our Foodbank Manager, you can use your leadership experience, excellent communication and organisational skills and Christian faith in a way that makes a real difference in people's lives.

Occupational Requirement: This role involves offering and participating in Christian prayer with members of the public and volunteers, leading devotions and group prayers, and providing pastoral care and faith-based leadership to Christian staff and volunteers. It is therefore an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practicing Christian.
Role purpose is to:
- Manage smooth and safe day-to-day delivery of Sutton Foodbank, supporting volunteers and clients and ensuring food stock is sufficient and managed safely (65%)
- Maintain and increase capacity of the service coordinating food drive activity, maintaining excellent relationships with food donors, volunteers and other external organisations, and assisting with onboarding new volunteers (25%)
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Sutton Foodbank, by delivering operational activity which aims to decrease people’s need to return to the Foodbank (10%)
- Keep Christ central to activities in the Foodbank (always)

James Marshall Foundation (JMF) is a long-established local charity. Its mission is to support financially disadvantaged young people aged 4 to 24 years old living in Harpenden, Wheathampstead, Kimpton, Redbourn, Flamstead or Markyate by awarding individual grants for education and career development opportunities.
In 2024, JMF awarded over 850 individual grants totalling £200,000.
We are seeking a dedicated Foundation Manager to oversee the operational and strategic management of the James Marshall Foundation.
The JMF has an endowment and as such, our focus is on the effective distribution of funds to support our objectives and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the charity.
The Foundation Manager is responsible for, amongst other things, managing the grant process, overseeing financial stewardship (including in respect of the foundation’s properties), supporting the trustees, fulfilling compliance and reporting obligations, and maintaining the visibility of JMF with local schools and other relevant bodies. The Foundation Manager will manage a team of 3 part-time Foundation Associates.
The role is based in our office in Harpenden, with the expectation of hours being 28–30 hours a week on a minimum of 4 days. Attendance at some evening meetings will be required.
Salary: £45–50,000 FTE
