Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Gateshead and a fifth in Redbridge. Each clinic is a local CIO which runs in partnership with Growing Hope and the local church. We have worked with over 700 children, young people, parents, carers and siblings since we launched. As a national charity Growing Hope has trained over 500 professionals & parents. We are continuing to expand, with the set-up of further local clinics on the horizon.
Growing Hope seeks a highly-motivated and experienced Director of Growth who is passionate about our mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth functions. This will provide support for Growing Hope to continue making a tangible difference in the world and ensure the charity’s long-term sustainability and growth. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. This will involve line management of the Fundraising Manager and Executive Assistant in the team. The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. We envisage the focus of the role to be split with a 40% focus on income generation, 20% on Clinic Growth and 20% on brand, marketing and PR, all aspects of the role will include leadership and management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow, but will include:
Leadership and Management:
- Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
- Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows.
- Leading and participating in prayer and worship with the team in line with Growing Hope’s Christian values.
- Ownership of income raising of £710,000 for the national charity with a view to growth each year. In addition to this an income of approximately £100,000 for each local clinic and ensuring that income targets are met across the national and local charities.
Fundraising Strategy & Finance:
- Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
- Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets.
- Manging the fundraising, marketing and communications budget lines.
- Oversee the process of forecasting and planning income for analysis of the leadership team and Board of Trustees.
- Support fundraising strategy development and long term planning for growth.
- Explore and implement strategies for ensuring best use of charitable funds, and maintaining financial sustainability.
- Explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure that Growing Hope are raising funds as effectively as possible at both a national and a local level.
Marketing and Communication:
- Overseeing and developing Marketing and Communication strategy across the charity, including PR development, socials and internal and external communications.
- Oversight of projects and campaigns running across Growing Hope.
- Promoting the Growing Hope brand both internally and externally.
- Developing strategies to support staff with understanding and working to the Growing Hope values.
- Oversight of marketing and advertising on behalf of the charity.
- Analysing key marketing performance metrics and using tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to formulate actionable insights for the marketing team.

ESSENTIAL

Summary of role
The Community Fundraising Lead will work as part of the Partnerships team. The role will collaborate on the development of the community fundraising strategy and will lead on its implementation. About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. The Service Manager will directly link in with both the Head of Partnerships for WithYou and the Addictions Borough Lead, as lead providers, to ensure clear communication and a mutually agreed delivery of service. Safeguarding those we provide our services to, sharing your concerns and putting the right interventions in place is key to the success of this role. You will work with a dedicated team of people, building strong relationships with other agencies to deliver the comprehensive support needed by those using our services. You will lead your team, providing development and clear direction aligned with the organisational aims and be a strong advocate for WithYou externally, maintaining and building our profile as you go.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.

SAPHNA is a professional organisation and charity established in 2006. We are the voice of school and public health nurses across the UK, and the Crown Dependencies. Our mission is to achieve equality and excellence in school nursing practice leading to improved health outcomes and reduce health inequalities for all school aged children, young people and their families and communities.
We strive to take forward the Public Health agenda by working in partnerships to influence health, care policy, and support the workforce, for the benefit of children and young people and the communities where they live and learn.
The initial contract is 12 months fixed term with a view to extension. There will be a 3 month probational period.
24 hours per week, £33,000-35,000 pa, pro rata and depending on experience. Pension included.
The role is home based with ability and willingness to travel across UK when required. Flexible working hours to be agreed and to meet the needs of the organisation. Holiday allowance is 25 days per annum pro rata plus bank holidays.
Main Responsiblities:
- Supporting the Professional Officer in managing finance, human resources, risk management, quality, operational change, board activities and business planning for the organisation.
- Providing programme management support for SAPHNA bidding, budget, invoicing, and contract management processes.
- To support the development and delivery of SAPHNA business planning and prioritisation, including horizon scanning and creating business cases and new opportunities for income generation.
- To support the Professional Officer in ensuring all the organisations charitable obligations are met.
- To support the Professional Officer and SAPHNA team as required in any other related work- streams.
- Line manage the administrator assistant and have organisation oversight and governance responsibilities of the office based processes.
The SAPHNA is an expanding and evolving organisation, as such the job description and person specification will be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the evolving needs of the wider team.

Purity is a full-service fundraising agency specialising in telephone and digital channels for charity and NGO fundraising. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fundraising professional to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for fundraising and knowledge of the non-profit sector. Previous experience in a senior role in telephone fundraising, team leadership and account management will be essential. They will be a great communicator and team player, leading the Client Services team and the wider Purity team in delivering fundraising campaigns for amazing causes. You will be fully supported by the CEO and the wider Senior Leadership team. Our current Client Services Director will be working on a part time consultancy basis for a period after your start date to help ensure you have the support needed to settle into the role successfully. You will continue to develop the strong relationships we have built with our charity partners, evolving their telemarketing programmes, whilst growing and innovating to support their needs and organisation growth. The role encompasses all communication channels, working with the Digital Campaign Manager to develop digital and supporting communications.
This role is a Senior Leadership role, and we are looking for someone who has clear leadership qualities who has a passion not only for fundraising, but for ethical supporter focussed fundraising.
Team Leadership
* Managing an established team of 5: Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Accounts Manager, Innovation and Creative Manager, and Digital Campaign Manager
* An integral part of the Senior Management Team
* Working closely with our Head of IT in designing and setting up campaigns and data management
Account Management
• Strong project management skills
• Managing a high-quality client management service from you and your team
• Line management of the client services team including project management and creative roles
• Lead on business including pitches, tenders and proposals
• Developing innovative performance proposals to drive clients fundraising activity and evolve existing programmes • Creating a pipeline of annual activity in line with annual capacity
• Developing telephone and digital communications such as SMS, Email and Social campaigns
• Guiding clients in annual forecast volumes and expected results across campaigns
• Ability to create and deliver regular detailed campaign reviews which include in depth analysis of all KPI’s, data segmentation and innovation to evolve fundraising strategies
• Managing and forecasting Purity’s annual business capacity • Lead on decisions in conjunction with CEO, Directors, Head of IT and Head of Fundraising
• SLT member
• New Business acquisition when required and delivering business objectives and growth, ensuring stability of business and opportunities outside of telephone
• Ability to be flexible and respond positively to change
• Ability to form positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the sector in general
• Work effectively under pressure, and managing the team to deal with conflicting priorities
• Be a self-starter who is keen to take responsibility for their own work and actions
• Continue to develop ad hoc social and telephone campaigns with our telephone agency partners
• Be able to demonstrate strong IT skills
• A strong understanding of quality and compliance in telephone fundraising and a passion for the third sector is essential
• Previous experience with a charity or fundraising agency working in with TM Campaigns is essential
• Creativity and digital skills are encouraged as we have a digital offering and the Client Services Director works both closely with, and managing the Digital Campaign Manager to provide end to end digital and telephone campaigns
• Ability to understand data manipulation and analysis
• Encouraging best practice across the sector
