We are recruiting for a Marketing Lead who will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans for the Communications and Campaigns team that engage the public through music, art, gaming, sport and other creative industries (including film, fashion and TV) for campaigns including Day of the Girl concerts, Secret 7, Sound and Vision, Jingle Jam, Brits Week concerts (among others). You will help activate these campaigns with the goal of generating funds and increasing our brand presence. Your role will also include project managing and coordinating members of the Communications and Campaigns Team (and external agencies) over the campaign cycle across digital channels, PR, digital marketing, design, content and narrative creation.
You will be the marketing expert for War Child, working side by side with creative teams both inside the Fundraising Engagement Department and across the organisation to design marketing plans, ensuring that the creative, content and narrative elements add significant value, and most importantly provide a WOW factor to our work. You will both be able to come up with imaginative ideas and see that they are implemented flawlessly, but also have exceptional organisational and project management skills that bring this work together.

- Highly experienced marketeer and project manager.
- Have a track record of leading on the successful creation and implementation of marketing campaigns that engaged audiences through music, art, gaming, sport or other creative industries.

Purpose of the Membership Support Officer role:
As Membership Support Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role within the Membership Services directorate to increase the engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction of members and maximise subscription, accreditation, and other sustainable commercial income opportunities, both for the organisation and it’s membership through excellent service delivery.
Through innovative and creative strategies, engage with members to support and anticipate their needs across all platforms – website, inbox, events, forums and online engagement. Key duties and responsibilities of the Membership Support Officer:
- Set up and maintain office administrative systems, processes, operating procedures and files to ensure relevant information on members are up to date and accurate
- General administrative duties to support the Membership Services such as managing calendars, updating distribution lists, development of documentation, coordinating annual renewals and supporting cross-team projects and meetings.
- To be a central point of contact for members and other organisations/individuals requesting and receiving support from Women’s Aid
- Plan and coordinate events such a regional meetings, coffee mornings and trustee networking meetings
- Working cross departmentally to gather data and information, coordinate press releases, public comms and workshops for members etc.
- Support the National Quality Standards accreditation process through note-taking and recording outcomes, actions and decisions.
- Coordinate new memberships and co-assess documentation for those applying to ensure appropriate individuals are appointed to the framework.
What we are looking for in our Membership Support Officer:
- Good understanding of the experience and needs of women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence – as well as the importance of intersectionality and the impact of oppression.
- Knowledge of CMS & CRM technologies
- Experience of collating, inputting and analysing data, report writing and briefings for a variety of audiences
- Good understanding of the role of specialist services, Imkaan and Women’s Aid membership bodies.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and computer literacy skills
- Ability to work on own initiative to meet objectives and to plan and delivery projects within a set timeframe and complex environment.

2024 marks a hugely important milestone for the Latymer Foundation - its their 400th anniversary!
The Latymer Foundation at Hammersmith was established in 1624 by Edward Latymer, a lawyer and local landowner, with the aim of offering financial support to eight children living in the area, providing them with clothes and giving them an education. An education which would not otherwise have been possible for them to access.
Today, the Foundation runs Latymer Upper and Prep School and one of its main aims is to provide bursaries (financial support for school fees) to as many local children as possible, ensuring that any promising and talented child can access a first-class Latymer education, regardless of their family's financial situation.
As of September 2023, the Foundation is supporting bursaries for 1 in every 5 students at Latymer Upper School, and is aiming to increase this to 1 in 4 students by 2024.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Fundraising Manager is a key member of a sector leading development team. Latymer's bursary programme is one of the most successful in any UK independent school. Since 2002, the number of pupils receiving means tested support has grown from just 7 to more than 280 as of September 2023, the majority of whom receive between 75-100% fee remission.
This growth has only been possible thanks to philanthropy through the Latymer community: parents, alumni, Governors, staff, and students.
The Fundraising Manager is at the heart of the community fundraising, focussing on the full cycle of cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver the strategy and tactics to increase giving and participation in support of our annual bursaries appeals (including Upper School and Prep) using a range of channels and touchpoints (e.g. DM, digital, phone campaign, events, face to face)
* Design the stewardship matrix and tactics to thank our supporters and develop compelling content that surprises and delights our donors, including events and the delivery of our annual campaign impact report, Campaign Review
* Provide a supporter experience that increases conversion and retention and builds long-term commitment to the Foundation, especially important this year as we celebrate Inspiring Minds and start to focus on future campaigns
* Develop case studies to illustrate the impact of donations across communications and devise ways to increase opportunities to see these stories
