The role:

Key responsibilities:
As an HR Advisor, you will:

About the role

The Fundraising Officer - Events role sits in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise more than £4.5 million in the next financial year.
The Events team is a part of a wider Community, Events and Products Fundraising team. Our vision is to engage, grow and inspire a community of passionate fundraisers to power the fight for mental health. Because together, we can change lives.
You'll play a pivotal role in the Community, Events and Products Fundraising team's strategic objective to sustain and improve the portfolio to raise £12.9million by March 2026
This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Steward event participants; this could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.
-Attend events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
-Work with the Senior Fundraising Officer to deliver events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.
-Produce high quality analysis reports for activities, including recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.
-Work with our media agency and internal Digital Teams to achieve Mind's digital-first strategy, attending training opportunities with internal teams and external agencies to upskill as needed, and thinking digital-first in the briefing of all new activity.
-Maintain high standards of data capture by ensuring data entered on systems are accurate and timely, in accordance with the team's requirements.

The International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is Nepal’s longest serving international NGO with over seven decades of experience working with Nepal’s poorest and most disadvantaged people and communities.
Nepal is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world. After a decade of peace following the 1996 to 2006 civil war, the country was hit by several generation-defining events. We're looking for a Safeguarding Officer to join the team at the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. This is an exciting time to join a growing team, you will play a key part in safeguarding transformation across the organisation.
Championing safeguarding practices and procedures, you will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, drive engagement and awareness around safeguarding, and embed a strong culture of safeguarding across all teams.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of safeguarding awareness.
In this role, you'll support the Designated Safeguarding Lead and maintain effective internal reporting systems. As the point of contact for our safeguarding recording system, CPOMS you will provide guidance and develop training materials for staff and volunteers. Monthly reporting will be a key aspect, feeding into longer-term safeguarding planning.
Collaboration is key, as you'll work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead to deliver comprehensive safeguarding training sessions. Your role will also involve liaising with external stakeholders to understand safeguarding challenges within the farming community.
You'll take the lead in providing safeguarding support to regional teams, ensuring consistency and an increase in confidence towards safeguarding practice across the organisation. Building relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally will be essential to stay informed about best practices and policy changes.
What are we looking for?
Within this role you will be the point of contact for safeguarding and at the forefront of embedding change. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and legislation is essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of statutory agency practices and multi-agency working.
We're seeking someone who can effectively distinguish between observation, facts, and information gained from others to confidently assess risk promptly and sensitively.
Strong communication is key in this role. We're looking for someone with excellent report-writing and recording skills, capable of articulating findings clearly and concisely. Experience in providing safeguarding support to staff and volunteers working with both adults and children, along with their families and carers, is essential.
Proficiency in using data recording systems and conducting data analysis is highly valued. We need someone who is organised and who can work autonomously. Your ability to communicate and present to a diverse audience of staff and volunteers will be crucial.

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability does amazing work caring for adults with a range of neurological conditions and brain injuries, from research and clinical care, music therapy, leisure and family services, to their young adults residential centre, Haberdasher’s House. The Trusts and Foundations Officer will work with the Trusts and Major Gifts Manager to generate income through grant giving organisations.
You’ll be responsible for writing grand bids for 4 & 5 figure donations, and with maintaining relationships with the charity’s portfolio of warm trusts and foundations.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in trusts fundraising and a proven track record of developing long-term relationships with trusts and foundations.
- Experience of developing prospect research and writing donor profiles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to write compelling and persuasive cases for support.
Salary: £33,000 FTE pro-rata to 3 days a week

The Vacancy
The Programme Officer will work within the Conflict Advisory Unit (CAU). The CAU provides high-quality advisory and technical support to a range of aid actors across the humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors, including donor institutions, UN agencies, international and national NGOs, civil society organisations, financial institutions and the private sector to integrate conflict sensitivity principles and practices into their strategies, policies, and programmes. The CAU runs remote conflict sensitivity/ peace and security helpdesks for donors, implements in-country conflict sensitivity facilities (currently in Afghanistan, South Sudan and Sudan), and undertakes bespoke conflict sensitivity work.
In additional to the CAU, the Programme Officer will work with country programme teams and other teams across Saferworld to support the uptake of more conflict-sensitive ways of working across diverse conflict-affected contexts and help to promote learning and good practice on adopting conflict-sensitive approaches. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within a dynamic and enthusiastic team and to work in support of addressing issues that are important for people affected by conflict and the aid sector.
