The Role in Brief
With the recent launch of our new strategy, Koreo is entering an exciting phase of transformation and growth. As we embark on this new chapter, we are working to broaden our reach beyond our historical focus on UK charities, aiming to impact a wider demographic of clients across the social change ecosystem. To support this growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Development and Communications Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to hone their craft in both business development and communications while playing a key role in supporting Koreo’s expansion. This role is vital in managing the operational aspects of business development and communications, supporting the growth of Koreo’s brand visibility and narrative and expanding our network of prospective clients.
As Development and Communications Coordinator, you will:

Identify and research funding opportunities, tenders, and potential new clients.

Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Legacy Manager with demonstrated experience, preferably within the charity sector or comparable commercial environment. The role will involve primarily working from home and must be situated in or near London to attend regular in person meetings with key staff.
Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for a portfolio of around 300 legacy pledgers in order to deepen relationships and offer excellent stewardship to ensure that legacy pledgers feel valued by STUK and their pledge is retained.
Act as the first point of contact for legacy enquiries, both internal and external, responding with authority, sensitivity and diplomacy, so that legacy enquirers and intenders choose to leave STUK a gift in their Will.
Plan and deliver a programme of marketing and advertising to promote legacy giving and grow our pipeline of legacy supporters. This will include contributing to campaign strategy development; producing marketing materials including newsletters; and consulting with the Head of Individual Giving re legacy mailings.
Undertake general legacy communications including developing a tangible legacy vision, make phone calls, arrange one to one meetings and write personal notes/letters.
Organise at least 2 – 3 legacy events per year including post-event follow-up.
Organise legacy stewardship activities such as recognition mechanisms.
Liaise with and oversee the administrative work of Legacy Link, our legacy administrators.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all legacy activity on Salesforce and in shared files.
Provide useful data insight and analysis producing regular statistical, qualitative and financial reports of legacy activity.
Manage in memoriam marketing.
Travel
There is limited but regular travel into London for regular team meetings as well as periodic travel as needed around the UK for meetings with legacy pledgers and to organise legacy events.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of relevant experience with exposure to legacy marketing and liaison with legacy enquirers, considerers and pledgers preferred.
A proven history of generating significant growth in key legacy metrics such as numbers of legacy enquirers and pledgers.
Demonstrated success in developing substantive donor relationships and in supporting senior management and programme staff, to execute donor and engagement strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both management and donors.
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
Able to take ownership of a process and to use problem solving skills to resolve issues.
Able to make sound decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
Able to function both independently and as part of a global team.
Familiar with the MS Office and donor management systems. Knowledge of Salesforce and First Class preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for this required level of education.

Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Philanthropy Manager with demonstrated experience, preferably within the charity sector or comparable commercial environment. The role will involve primarily working from home and must be situated in or near London to attend regular in person meetings with key staff.
Key responsibilities
Maintain a portfolio of 50 – 70 major donors and prospects by creating and implementing strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors with the capacity to make 5 and low 6-figure annual gifts (bigger gifts would fall to the Vice President, International Development and UK Fundraising Director)
Conduct 75 to 100 meetings with donors and prospects annually through one-on-one meetings, site visits, and other types of meaningful contact.
Provide recommendations and assist in executing effective strategies to practice moves management and increase fundraising results.
Write and create customised proposals and presentations for major donors.
In coordination with the UK Fundraising Director, assist with developing projects that will enhance the major giving operations of the Development Department and support them by developing strategy briefs and leading preparation meetings.
Help produce cultivation and stewardship programs for prospects and major donors.
Organise at least two major donor events each year.
Organising research on major donors as well as conducting supplemental research.
Ensure all key administrative tasks for the philanthropy programme are taken care of.
Other duties as are appropriate for this role.
Travel
There is limited but regular travel into London for regular team meetings as well as travel as needed around the UK for meetings with major donors.
Required Education and Experience

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. These programmes aim to create a more diverse social change sector by placing young people from across the UK in 12-month work placements with nonprofit organisations, also known as host organisations. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on sales and relationship management role. This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. They must be skilled at maintaining relationships with long-standing partners while also driving new business to support the overall growth and success of our programmes. Each year we aim to secure 150 work placements for diverse young talent from across the UK.
Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Managing Director, and line managing the Programme Marketing and Communications Manager and Recruitment Coordinator, the Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, will play a key role in executing Koreo’s programmatic growth strategy. They will identify and cultivate new leads to build a strong prospect pipeline of host organisations, pitch to secure new partners and manage relationships with existing partners, while also overseeing the recruitment of participants into our programmes.

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will hold responsibility for:

Strategy Development & Implementation: Working with Directors to articulate and implement business development strategies that support the growth of Koreo’s Programmes.

Currently, over 70% of people in prisons either can’t read, or struggle to. Even more struggle with their numeracy.
Shannon Trust supports people in the criminal justice system, and in the wider community, to learn to read and improve their numeracy skills. The work you will be promoting makes day to day life safer for the learner, their families, and the wider community. It provides more opportunities for work and education for the learner, helps break the intergenerational cycle of low literacy and numeracy, and reduces re-offending.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the work of Shannon Trust, internally and externally, through a variety of communications platforms including print and digital media, video and radio

Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a communications role (or related field) along with excellent written skills and be social media Savvy. The Role
This role can be homebased or hybrid, dependent on proximity to an office. You will need to be based within two hours travel time of central London in order to regularly engage with Parliamentary and other key stakeholders face to face.
As Assistant Director - Communications and Voice, you will be:
• Establishing a newly-integrated team, bringing together colleagues from across the communications and marketing mix
• Leading the team to ensure the charity is a recognised, trusted and nationally prominent voice for victims, and influences required policy reform nationally and locally.
About You
You will need:
• Experience in a senior communications or external affairs role including team leadership, building relationships with Parliamentarians and civil servants, and securing high-profile media coverage
• A proven ability to plan and deliver strategic communications that align with business strategy and result in compelling campaigns and content
• Excellent judgment; a strong track record in reputation and brand management and the ability to integrate external and internal communications with marketing, digital and design
• To be a highly motivated, inspiring leader of people, and a skilled communicator with first-rate writing, editing, and presentation skills.

About the role
This is an exciting time to join the Baby Bank Alliance. As the Fundraising and Partnership Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who will be responsible for securing funds and goods for the Baby Bank Alliance, working independently and alongside our incubating partners (Save the Children UK and Purposeful Ventures) and the community of baby banks across the country.

A primary focus will be on generating in-kind donations on a national scale to support baby banks and the communities they serve.
In this role, you will:
• Identify and develop new partnerships and funding, that bring in financial and in kind donation
• Seek prospective partnerships and donors to secure new revenue and ways to maximise awareness of BBA
• Manage and strengthen existing relationships
• Lead on creation and implementation of the BBA's first partnerships strategy
• Track and report on fundraising and partnership performance, using data and feedback to update key stakeholders
• Connect between baby banks and corporate partners with effective coordination and communication. Building relationships and representing the Baby Bank Alliance is key.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Proven track record of securing significant financial donations for a programme or initiative, and building long term donor relationships
• Proven experience in developing new fundraising and partnership
• Proven experience of managing partnerships, corporate fundraising, or a related field
• Strong relationship building and communication skills – the ability to influence and engage with different stakeholders is important
• A strategic and results orientated approach
• Excellent organisational and project management skills

Action Around Bethlehem Children with Disability (‘ABCD’) is a small but well-established charity. We are passionate about improving the lives of children with disabilities across Palestine regardless of faith, race or gender.
We are recruiting for the brand new role of Fundraising and Communications Officer. This is an important and exciting point in ABCD’s development, when we seek to develop our profile and supporter base, particularly among younger people in the UK. Over recent years we have been gradually extending the scope of our work in the refugee camps in the West Bank. As we grow, and the demand for our services grows, so have our ambitions to raise much needed funds.
