As Head of Philanthropy, you will:

About the role
The Social Mobility & Widening Participation manager has responsibility for delivering and overseeing key widening participation programmes in line with King’s Access & Participation Plan.

Main responsibilities:
• Oversee a range of widening participation programmes and projects aligned with the King’s Access & Participation Plan. This includes oversight of evaluation to monitor programme effectiveness and associated governance

SMWP Manager 1:
It is anticipated that this role will initially focus on overseeing and expanding our suite of pre-16 programmes (including Step Up Scholars, King's Scholars, and Scholars Plus), alongside developing a new Parent Network. The postholder will also manage our school partnerships. A key part of the role initially will be working closely with the What Works team to lead a randomised control trial to evaluate the effectiveness of King’s Scholars, our KS3 programme. The postholder will drive a new, strategic partnership with a multi-academy trust, coordinating summer schools for teachers and activity days for sixth-form students. They will also develop a new programme to support Teaching Assistants.
SMWP Manager 2:
It is anticipated that this role will initially serve as the primary point of contact for King’s colleagues – both professional and academic, as well as King’s Maths School and KCLSU. The postholder will run the WP Champions network for King’s staff who support our work or run their own WP interventions. A key focus will be developing and running the new King’s Plus programme – a student support programme for all WP students at King’s (c 25% of home, UG students). They will develop a comprehensive communications plan for SMWP featuring an open content hub and podcast series. They will oversee all the community organising work within the department - this includes Parent Power, Empoderando Familias and Empower ESOL. As part of their early priorities, they will lead on the articulation and dissemination of relevant educational policy and research and ensure King’s provision is cutting edge and innovative.
These are hybrid roles which involve both remote and on-campus work, with a minimum of two office days per week (currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays) based at the Strand or Waterloo campuses. However, as these positions are delivery-focused, in addition to office days, the roles also require a substantial amount of time on-campus and in schools to run activities for young people. This can include regular evening and weekend commitments.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Property and Asset Manager to lead the Council's property function. This role encompasses strategic planning, development, and management of the Council's non-housing property portfolios (operational, leisure & heritage, community and commercial assets). This will include ensuring the optimal use and management of the Council's estate, maximising financial and social returns while aligning with corporate and political priorities.
There will be a particular focus on the Council's strategic asset management plan and the role also has oversight of the Council’s commercial landlord function. The role is key to the effective delivery of professional advisory, valuation, and transactional services across the Council’s portfolios.
This is an exciting senior role which belongs to the job family of ‘Service Manager’ as such the role holder will be a member of the Council’s Wider Leadership Team (WLT).
About you
It is essential that you are a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. They expect that you will bring a proven record of accomplishment from within the property sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of operating as a service manager in a complex organisation, with a strong understanding of property and asset management principles, ideally in a local government setting. Knowledge and understanding of property valuations is essential.
You will possess excellent people skills allied with the proven ability to listen, explain, negotiate and influence.
You will be an enthusiastic, skilled subject matter expert with excellent presentation and report writing skills.

The Council’s property function is small team with a large remit, the post holder must therefore be willing and able to get stuck in and deliver their own broad case load of transactions. About the role
The role holder is responsible for leading our strategic cross-organisational work aimed at driving innovation in programme design. Reporting to the CEO and leading a team of 5, the Head of Finance and Internal Operations is a critical leadership role providing advice and analysis to the Board and its Committees. This role will drive the vision and direction of Young Roots as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will have a focus on Finance, with an oversight of HR, IT and Facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: As part of the Senior Leadership Team, support the CEO to develop, implement, and drive the vision and strategy for Young Roots; Develop and lead a first-class Finance and Operations Team; Support the SLT in its decision-making by providing expert analysis across finance, governance, HR, IT, risk, and facilities perspectives.

For example, if the successful candidate has a strong commercial background, they may also be asked to line manage the Trading Support function.

Head of Property Management Operations
As the Head of Property Management Operations you would be leading the work of the Plumlife Management Team in the delivery of property and tenancy management services to leasehold, shared ownership, market and sub-market rent customer managed across the Group through the Plumlife brand. With support from the operational managers within the team, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the delivery of excellent services to these customer groups and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing

To ensure the effective management of our block, estate and tenancy management services to private sector, leasehold, rental and low cost home ownership customers including meeting any contractual and legal obligations. Including building effective relationships with internal colleagues and departments.

Provide strategic leadership to ensure Plumlife complies with all legislation, regulations and best practice and to lead in the development of a culture which is customer focussed and committed to providing the highest standard of service

To carry out the post holders responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety and probity.

To undertake training as appropriate to the post and to keep abreast of developments across the housing profession and private sector.

To ensure that goods and services procured are managed in line with financial regulations and Great Places procurement practices.

To provide technical and strategic risk management advice across the Group and work in line with our risk management framework.

What you’ll need

Experience in leasehold / low cost home ownership management including knowledge of Leasehold legislation and its application

Significant experience of working in the property management sector– ideally IRPM / TPI qualified or equivalent

A sound understanding of all aspects of housing management including landlord and tenant law, tenancy enforcement and current housing issues

Experience of managing financial budgets

Ability to communicate at all levels

The Job
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Trust Fundraising Manager with proven experience in trust fundraising, and management, to lead our successful Trust Fundraising Team.
The role is based full time at RBLI’s HQ in Aylesford, Kent and provides the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the life and impact of the charity across support for homeless veterans, disability employment and older care.
The postholder line manages two Senior Bid Writers and one Trust Fundraiser, as well as freelancers, securing over £1m annually for varied revenue projects. The projects include:
Lifeworks – RBLI’s award-winning national employability support for unemployed veterans
STEP IN – RBLI’s holistic support for veterans overcoming homelessness
SBMC and BBMC – RBLI’s outstanding social enterprise factories employing 70% workers with disabilities and health conditions
The post holder will lead on the creation of persuasive grant applications and sponsorship proposals, mainly for charitable trusts, lottery and statutory funding opportunities, but also works with the wider fundraising team to support and co-ordinate with major capital, corporate and HNWI approaches.

About the Lead HR Officer role
In this generalist role, you will focus on the recruitment and retention of talented staff by helping to foster a positive, inclusive and empowering working environment that shapes our organisational culture. You will play an integral part in shaping policies, championing best practice, managing employee relations and leading mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
As Lead HR Officer you will have both a strategic and operational focus, from incorporating EDI into our practices to providing specialist support and expertise in areas such as recruitment, performance management and employee relations. This role is also responsible for the line management of the HR Coordinator, and you will at times deputise for the Director of People and Culture at HR Group and Board of Trustee meetings.
About you
Qualified to CIPD level 5 and experienced in busy HR environments, you should be adept at providing advice and support, skilled in reviewing and developing policy, and familiar with leading wellbeing activities and other HR projects to successful conclusions.
Exposure to HR systems and databases such as NaturalHR and external resources including HR-inform would be beneficial, as would knowledge of payroll management, experience of standing in for more senior managers and a Mental Health First aid qualification. You should be passionate about the WI’s mission to transform women’s lives as well as a true ambassador for diversity, with outstanding problem-solving skills and a confident yet sensitive approach to delivering change.

About the role
This role supports the Associate Director of Business Operations and the wider organisation in providing robust legal and compliance services covering contract review and negotiation, GDPR, Safeguarding, Insurance and Internal Audit. Reporting to the Associate Director Business Operations you will be expected to work closely with the Executive Team and other members of staff to aid the effective running of the organisation.
This role also leads on procurement across the organisation working with teams to ensure the charity is getting value for money for the goods and services it sources. This position is highly visible and involves regular interaction with all levels of the organisation, including the board, as well as external partners and funders. Therefore, we seek an individual with experience in working closely with these groups of stakeholders
The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK. We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 2 days (or 40%) a week in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames.
