We are seeking a London Church Engagement Manager to lead on developing gospel partnerships with churches in London. In this role, you’ll take the lead in expanding the number of giving churches and forging partnerships that enhance commitments in donations, prayer, and volunteering, all aimed at reaching those who are least likely to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

As London Church Engagement Manager you’ll collaborate closely with the ministries and training departments, engaging in inspiring conversations with churches about the financial aspects of church partnerships. Plus, you’ll connect churches with a missionary, fostering strong and lasting relationships with LCM.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• A track record of successfully engaging with, and fundraising from, churches
• Proven experience of developing and managing relationships with church leaders
• An in-depth understanding of the UK Evangelical Church including awareness of a range of theological positions. 

You will be part of a charity that has daily and weekly staff prayer meetings, monthly team days that include worship and teaching, and lots of opportunities to live out your faith. • Manage support to users of the NetSuite system, in conjunction with others in the Finance and IT teams.

• Advise Global Director of Finance of any significant issues arising with software, with possible action plans.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

The Legacy Stewardship Manager will focus and lead on delivering RNID’s legacy fundraising stewardship programme to build and strengthen legacy supporters’ commitment and engagement with RNID.

How this role contributes to RNID: This role is critical in growing future legacy income for RNID, which currently represents 72% of RNID’s income. The Legacy Stewardship Manager will deliver the programme of engagement and marketing activity that will increase long-term legacy support to RNID, with a focus on developing relationships and engagement with existing supporters and pledger to encourage legacy interest, intention, action and commitment.

What makes this role unique and exciting: The role is new and will build on an existing programme of bespoke stewardship and events to scale activity up to a new level. It will work to apply legacy stewardship and engagement across all areas of RNID and use an insight- and data-driven approach to do this.

The Role

Core Duties

• Ensure all aspects of service delivery in the residential homes comply with contractual, legislative and other necessary requirements. 
• Create and implement robust policies and procedures for placements across all homes for looked after children, including oversight of quality assurance and ensuring all staff work in a way which prevents abuse and safeguards everyone.  
• Support and expand our children’s therapeutic care service; leading on contract negotiations for future placements, registration of new homes and supporting the Executive Director in introducing a continuum of care provision
• You will investigate any safeguarding concerns for the service area and to make informed, fair, and transparent decisions based on information obtained including the production of investigation reports with recommendations and outcomes.
• Maximise resources and overall occupation to ensure your budget is responsibly managed.
• Provide strong cause-centric leadership and management to Operations Managers, to provide the highest professional standards of care and support to children and young people in our services, ensuring that they thrive who in turn will manage Registered Managers across all regions.

Your Background

We are delighted to be working with the British Film Institute (BFI) the leading body for Film in the UK, who are looking for an exceptional Procurement Manager with sound Public Procurement knowledge able to run tenders both below and above thresholds to join their small, but busy team. 

As custodians of the Nations Master Film Collection, exhibit film at BFI Southbank, run the London Film Festival and operate the BFI IMAX – the UK’s largest cinema screen, they are also a National Lottery Distributor, and an NDPB (Non-Departmental Public Body reporting into DCMS (Department for Culture, Media and Sport).

Procurement at the BFI is governed by Public Sector regulations procuring goods and services totalling on average £25m a year with all procurement over £10k in value managed by the Procurement team and as such the successful candidate will need to be experienced in public sector procurement.  Ideally, you will also be a generalist as the breadth of procurement at BFI is extensive, and you will demonstrate the skills to run both below and above threshold tenders with knowledge of frameworks. 

You will have:

• A Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Level 4 Diploma (CIPS) or degree or equivalent vocational training.
• Completed the government mandated modules training and obtaining a certificate of completion (launched in spring 2024) for the new Procurement Regulations going live on 24/2/2025.

The person:

The successful candidate will have significant experience of grant-making in the UK and experience of working within operating charities. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Strategic Leadership of Grant Funding and Management

· Foster and deepen relationships with the global dementia research community, with support of the Research Engagement Manager, ensuring ARUK remains a trusted leader in funding excellence.

· Provide oversight and leadership for ARUK’s grant funding programme, ensuring its alignment with organisational goals and long-term impact.

· Lead the evolution of ARUK’s grant awarding processes, driving innovation in practices through the grant review panels, ensuring adherence to funding policies and ARUK values.

· Oversee the operational delivery of grants review and management processes, ensuring they align us with best practice in research review and management

· Support the Research Grants Manager to enhance the use of the grant management system (Grant Tracker) and robust data integrity by championing continuous improvements.

· Support the Research Contracts Manager with the development and execution of funding agreements, ensuring efficient, compliant, and streamlined processes with research institutions, in particular for international collaborations

Scientific Strategy and Innovation

· Gain a thorough understanding of the dementia research landscape, working with the wider Research team to make recommendations to drive the development and delivery of ARUK’s research strategy

· Play a significant role in the strategic development and implementation of new grant schemes and funding initiatives, ensuring alignment with ARUK’s research strategy and evolving needs in dementia research, including early career researchers with the Senior Research Manager (Culture and Engagement)

· Lead the development of collaborations with leading funding organisations, including the AMRC and other strategic partners, identifying opportunities to address shared research priorities and drive collective impact.

· Provide forward-looking strategic advice on research funding, presenting the Research Leadership team with actionable recommendations for new initiatives, operational efficiencies, and resource allocation to advance ARUK’s mission.

· Represent ARUK at external events such as national and international research conferences, external talks and wider events in the dementia research field.

What we are looking for:

· Strong science background, educated to degree level in a relevant subject (preferably with a postgraduate qualification or equivalent work experience)

· Experience of research grant funding/management 

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience of building and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, at all levels of seniority.

· Experience of developing and delivering strategies, ability to spot opportunities and translate these into operational plans, thinking beyond the immediate issue to look at broader topics or themes.

· Proven ability of planning, managing and delivering projects; ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, showing adaptability to meet challenging targets and deadlines.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Role

The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader in research and evaluation to drive ImpactEd Group’s research strategy. Reporting to the Group Directors and Board, the Research Director will lead, design and represent high-quality research and evaluation outputs across ImpactEd Group, in support of our practices.

The Research Director will be responsible for overseeing research quality, outputs and methods across the Group. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong track record in research leadership, evaluation, and research partnerships. You will bring a pragmatic, evidence-based approach to research and implementation, with a deep understanding of the education sector.

Working across our practices, the Research Director will design methodologies for Targeted Research and Action Projects, support complex research partnerships and quality assurance. This will likely include, but not be limited to, research and evaluation design and delivery on key projects across our practices, supporting the delivery of Targeted Research and Action Projects, development and delivery of training for colleagues in research methodologies, reviewing proposals and reports, designing and leading research-based engagement with the sector (e.g. programme of webinars), writing articles, and representing the Group at events.

Alongside this, the successful candidate will play an active role in business development, bringing in revenue to the Group through lead generation, tender applications, and high-quality proposal writing and project design. As well as sitting on the Group Leadership Team, the Research Director will sit on the Practice Board of ImpactEd Evaluation, where they will support the practice leadership in the development of methodologies and training that will position the practice as the first port of call for education leaders who want to understand the impact of their work.
