About the role:  

The Data Analyst (Geo-Spatial) is a key position in the Monitoring & Evaluation team and works closely with the wider Programmes Team to support the process of collecting, analysing, managing and storing high quality data.

The position is pivotal in the development and implementation of a new digital Information Management System (IMS) for the organisation’s Monitoring and Evaluation data. This involves working in partnership with a range of both internal and external stakeholders. 

The position will play a key role in turning geospatial evidence into insight for programme quality, landscape impact and carbon integrity. 

Main duties:  

• Lead on the analysing and interpretation of geo-spatial data across the organisation using a range of GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis tools to support monitoring, evaluation and learning 

• Produce spatial analyses and maps to assess restoration, tree cover, land use and ecosystem change over time at project and landscape scale 

• Develop, maintain and manage online dashboards and visual analytics products to support programme management, learning and decision-making 

• Working with external developers, design and maintain digital data collection tools and workflows, covering data capture, aggregation, analysis and visualisation for project indicators and organisational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

• Develop and maintain the organisational M&E geospatial database, focusing on areas of land benefiting from restoration activities, including tree planting, tree survival, landscape regeneration, and agroforestry systems 

• Work closely with the NbS and Carbon team to produce, analyse and quality-assure geospatial data used for carbon programmes, including baseline development, monitoring and verification 

• Support landscape-level impact assessment by integrating geospatial data with field monitoring data and other information sources 

• Implement and uphold good data management practices, including: data quality checks, version control, documentation, secure storage and data governance 

Additional duties:  

• Work together with the other members of the Monitoring and Evaluation team on improving technical support of all Tree Aid programmes 

• Digital Survey Creation: Using software solutions to create digital surveys to be administered via phone/tablet by field staff 

• Learn and develop new software applications with vision for integration into Tree Aid workflow

About you:

Essential 

• Experience using Python for data analysis and visualisation, particularly in the context of spatial data. 

• Experience using SQL to query relational databases. 

• Experience of producing interactive maps drawing on a range of data sources. 

• Experience using GIS software applications (preferably QGIS) for processing and visualising spatial data. 

• Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub. 

• Working with and analysing complex data sets.

About us 

Established in 2021, Opportunity Green is a fast-growing not-for-profit organisation that helps to identify and unlock opportunities to tackle climate change. We build ambitious coalitions, support climate vulnerable countries in international negotiations and find innovative legal pathways to fight climate change.

The Operations team is key to the success of Opportunity Green, enabling the team to carry out their work. It is headed by the COO and includes a Finance Manager, Operations Coordinator and People and Culture Manager, who will line manage this new role - a People and Culture Officer to support the continued growth of Opportunity Green.

What’s the role? 

The People and Culture Officer will support our People and Culture Manager with delivering the full HR portfolio for the organisation. You will coordinate recruitment of new colleagues, own the process and ensure OG hiring practices are followed, while working closely with other managers. You will coordinate our internal HR and recruitment systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of £40,000 plus 10% employer-contributed pension. Please note that Opportunity Green has fixed salary scales, with the possibility of step increases with strong performance. Role Purpose 

As Payroll Lead, you will manage HOST’s global payroll operations — ensuring that all staff, contractors, and hosted partners are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. 

You will bring structure, care, and precision to one of HOST’s most essential services: ensuring the people driving climate and social action receive the financial stability they need to do their best work. 

This role supports both internal HOST staff and hosted partners, liaising across HR, Finance, and Community Support to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient payroll management. You will also help develop new systems and processes as HOST expands internationally, ensuring our operations remain smooth, transparent, and aligned with local legislation. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Payroll Management 

• Manage all aspects of monthly payroll for UK and international employees, contractors, and hosted partner staff. 

• Prepare and process payroll changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments) in line with internal procedures. 

• Ensure timely submission of payroll information to Finance and external providers. 

• Reconcile payroll each month, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

2. Compliance and Record-Keeping

The role and its impact

This is a part-time CEO role providing hands-on leadership so CCE can deliver projects well, support volunteers, and build strong partnerships. Working with the Board, you will help move projects from early-stage development through to installation and reporting.

About us 

Established in 2021, Opportunity Green is a fast-growing not-for-profit organisation that helps to identify and unlock opportunities to tackle climate change. We build ambitious coalitions, support climate vulnerable countries in international negotiations and find innovative legal pathways to fight climate change.

The Communications team currently includes four people who work across the full breadth of Opportunity Green’s work, making sure our messages are communicated clearly to the right audiences at the right time. We are now looking for a Digital and SEO Manager to develop and deliver Opportunity Green’s digital and SEO strategy, ensuring our online presence effectively reaches, engages and inspires audiences.

What’s the role? 

The Digital and SEO Manager will report to Opportunity Green’s Communications Director. By harnessing data-driven insights and optimising our digital platforms, the Digital and SEO Manager will strengthen our communications impact and support the organisation’s mission to fill the gaps that others miss on climate change. You will also support the Comms Director in managing the communications team and their team projects, including direct line management of a multimedia-focused team member.

This is a new role to OG and it comes at an exciting time, when we are about to launch our new website. You will play a pivotal part in helping our website content reach the right audiences, monitoring its performance and developing it even further. 

Our Communications team supports all the workstreams and projects at Opportunity Green, spanning aviation, shipping, steel, agriculture, strategic litigation, climate justice, company coalitions, external partnerships and The SASHA Coalition, which is facilitated by OG and has a separate online presence. You will therefore need to be a great collaborator who is used to multitasking, a quick thinker and able to respond to situations as they arise. As the only employee dedicated to digital, you will be a strategic thinker who can shape our approach to emerging digital trends, while also being comfortable implementing the ideas you develop.

About the candidate 

We are looking for a candidate with: 

• A passion for using their digital skills and SEO knowledge to tackle climate change.

• Proven expertise in digital analysis and insights, with a strong track record of producing data-driven reports and actionable recommendations across a range of platforms. 

• Demonstrated experience in SEO account management and web development project management.

The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of £50,000 plus 10% employer-contributed pension. Please note that Opportunity Green has fixed salary scales, with the possibility of step increases with strong performance. When hiring we always hire at the bottom of a band and do not enter negotiations with new employees as negotiations have been historically shown to disadvantage women and minorities.

• Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timelines

Who are you?

In this role, you will work on some of the world’s most pressing issues - you will create and launch best in class digital campaigns that mobilise audiences across the world to make change.

We are looking for a digital and social expert, who has varied digital campaigning expertise: you will lead and implement paid and organic campaigns, analyse audience and insights data,, and co-develop multi-platform creative ideas.

Key responsibilities

Campaign management/optimization

• Develop efficient and effective multi-channel digital campaigns, that integrate into wider strategies to help our clients change the world

• Developing and implementing paid media plans including forecasting, KPI setting and audience development for channels including: Google Ads, Linkedin, Meta, TikTok, Twitter/X and beyond.

Our Low-Fly Future Campaign Manager will play a key role in our aviation workstrand, which focuses on climate justice and reducing aviation fairly by targeting the most frequent flyers and private jets, while offering a green alternative in the form of more accessible international rail travel. The Low-fly Future Campaign Manager will deliver exciting, innovative, ambitious campaigns and projects to tackle the high-carbon and highly unequal aviation sector. 

This role offers a diverse and varied workload including campaign planning and delivery, communications, public engagement, political engagement, press, and working with our supporters and the wider public. As well as delivering currently planned campaign outputs, the role will provide scope for creative work and the development of new projects, ideas and tactics within the aviation workstream.

We’d love to hear from people with experience (paid or voluntary) of developing or delivering campaigns and public engagement centred on fairness, whether that’s climate justice, tax campaigning, or social justice work. Previous experience of aviation or transport campaigning is very much not essential, as we can support you to get up to speed on that.
