The role and its impact
This is a part-time CEO role providing hands-on leadership so CCE can deliver projects well, support volunteers, and build strong partnerships. Working with the Board, you will help move projects from early-stage development through to installation and reporting.

What you'll be working on

Deliver CCE's strategy and Board priorities, turning plans into clear actions, timelines and decisions.

Coordinate the solar project pipeline with the Projects Director and delivery partners (from feasibility to commissioning and post-install monitoring).

Oversee budgets, cashflow tracking and financial reporting with the Finance Director; keep risks visible and managed.

Develop and deliver fundraising plans (grants, sponsorship, partnerships and, where relevant, community share offers).

Enable good governance: board papers and updates, decisions logs, AGMs and member communications where relevant.

Support and coordinate volunteers, fostering an inclusive, motivated culture and making it easy for people to contribute.

The Opportunity
Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with an investor-led, purpose-driven membership organisation working with the investment community to manage climate-related financial risks and seize opportunities in the transition to a net zero and climate resilient economy. This role will lead day-to-day operational HR service delivery, partnering with managers and the wider team to embed best practice, strengthen culture, and support organisational development and change.
Key Responsibilities

The Candidate
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, including delivery of operational people services and HR project implementation.
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent professional experience) with strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Confident advising and coaching managers across employee relations, performance, and people processes.
- Experience supporting organisational development, culture and change in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently with sound judgement, high attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Proficient with HR systems and digital tools; able to interpret HR data to drive improvements.
Desirable:

Overview
High energy costs are a nightmare for millions of UK households, while huge profits are made at our expense. Poor housing and heating systems are a key part of the problem, along with dependence on polluting, climate-changing fossil fuels. FPA is a campaigning organisation that sets out to attack the root causes of fuel poverty along with the specific injustices facing people and communities. We want to see the UK’s energy system decarbonised as rapidly as possible, with a just transition for communities and workers that includes affordability.
Working closely with pensioners groups, trades unions, disabled campaigners, tenants’ organisations and others on the frontline of fuel poverty, we’re using protest and direct action to fight for real, sustainable solutions to the cold homes crisis. We are looking for a committed operations person and fundraiser who shares our passion and values, to oversee systems and processes which support our strategy and core team to do their best work.
About the role
Fuel Poverty Action (FPA) was started in 2011 by climate activists who wanted to ensure that the green energy transition doesn’t happen at the expense of those with less social and economic power. Rather, they saw the break with fossil fuels as an opportunity to end the scourge of fuel poverty in the UK - a chance to rethink priorities and design inequality out of the energy system.
We are seeking a new, well-organised Operations Lead to slot into this structure, to take care of administrative and operational functions and support the Directors with fundraising: bids, budgets and reports, managing relationships with funders and cultivating a donor pipeline.
This role would suit someone familiar with the operational and HR elements of running a company or organisation, somebody with management experience who is caring and collaborative and comfortable juggling a varied workload.
Critically, we are seeking someone who shares our political vision, as reflected in the Energy For All manifesto (link in attachment).
Key responsibilities
- Administration: Managing the email inbox; maintaining up to date contacts and mailing lists; developing and refining systems, processes and platforms to support internal and campaign activities.
- Information management: Ensuring high standards of record keeping, data protection and secure information storage across the organisation, enabling staff and members to share and access resources and know-how.
- Fundraising: Creating and implementing a three-year fundraising plan; managing existing donor relationships and completing reports; working with directors/fundraising volunteers on grant bids and budgets.
- Line management: Providing light touch management for at least one colleague.
- HR functions: Overseeing recruitment and onboarding of new staff and freelancers, overseeing HR policies and contracts, identifying training needs and opportunities.
- Strategic thinking: Inputting into FPA’s long and short term strategic plans, with an eye to the setting and monitoring of appropriate targets.

The Communications team currently includes four people who work across the full breadth of Opportunity Green’s work, making sure our messages are communicated clearly to the right audiences at the right time. We are now looking for a Digital and SEO Manager to develop and deliver Opportunity Green’s digital and SEO strategy, ensuring our online presence effectively reaches, engages and inspires audiences.
What’s the role?
The Digital and SEO Manager will report to Opportunity Green’s Communications Director. By harnessing data-driven insights and optimising our digital platforms, the Digital and SEO Manager will strengthen our communications impact and support the organisation’s mission to fill the gaps that others miss on climate change. You will also support the Comms Director in managing the communications team and their team projects, including direct line management of a multimedia-focused team member.
This is a new role to OG and it comes at an exciting time, when we are about to launch our new website. You will play a pivotal part in helping our website content reach the right audiences, monitoring its performance and developing it even further.
Our Communications team supports all the workstreams and projects at Opportunity Green, spanning aviation, shipping, steel, agriculture, strategic litigation, climate justice, company coalitions, external partnerships and The SASHA Coalition, which is facilitated by OG and has a separate online presence. The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of £50,000 plus 10% employer-contributed pension. Please note that Opportunity Green has fixed salary scales, with the possibility of step increases with strong performance. About the Role
As People and Culture Lead, reporting to the Director of Execution & Planning, you will be responsible for the development of the People function at Global Canopy. Salary & Benefits

As the Head of Individual Major Gifts, you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a programme that will drive income growth from high-value individuals. This is an opportunity to take on a successful programme to new heights through effectively managing and growing a developed portfolio of donors, as well as lead a small and dedicated team of fundraisers to transform their supporter pipelines. As a leader within the Key Relationships and wider Fundraising team, you will identify and create opportunities for collaboration across our team, and as our UK Lead for the Global Capital Campaign, you will also play a vital role across our international network of offices.
Success in this role will therefore require an experienced major gifts professional with a track record of securing 6-figure level gifts (or more) from individual philanthropists, and a strategic approach and enterprising mindset to achieve progress. A skilled negotiator with gravitas and highly developed interpersonal skills, you will inspire confidence and motivate those around you to rise to the ambition of our mission. It will be important that you have some experience of line managing others, and getting the best out of the people or teams that you’ve led. To be a successful leader in our Key Relationships team will require resilience, adaptability, and solutions-focussed approach.

Role Summary
Our fast-growing team at ProVeg UK has ambitious targets for the coming years, and we need innovative, entrepreneurial thinkers to help us reach them for 2026 and beyond.
The primary focus of this role is to establish and lead our UK mid-major level (HNWI) donor function alongside our Co-Executive Director. We have a successful track record with Trusts and Foundations (T&F) and are now looking to cultivate a diverse portfolio of funders who are accelerating the transition to a sustainable food system, tackling climate change, and ensuring the food we eat is good for all. You will be the architect of this new HNWI income stream - researching, qualifying, and securing transformational gifts from scratch.
While philanthropy experience is essential for this role, you will also collaborate with our Development Manager to oversee our established T&F portfolio. We are predominantly seeking strong philanthropy specialists and are happy to provide training on grant applications where needed.
This is a pivotal role for someone looking to lead on a high-impact fundraising strategy and help secure the vital resources needed for our continued success.
You will be a champion for our mission, able to think creatively about how to attract interest across sectors and translate the impact of our work to speak to a range of audiences.

Responsibilities

Establish the HNWI Pipeline by leading the proactive research and identification of new UK-based major donors. You will manage the full prospect lifecycle, from cold outreach and initial "discovery" meetings to the final ask and bespoke stewardship.

Conceptualise, launch, and manage a new donor circle (e.g., an 'Impact Club') to create a structured engagement programme for mid to high-level supporters alongside the Co-Executive Director.

Co-develop a creative 3-year fundraising strategy and set actionable annual and quarterly objectives.

Plan, facilitate, and manage events, including the coordination and delivery of roundtable discussions or multi-participant meetings, ensuring effective engagement, smooth logistics, and clear outcomes.

Create compelling, tailored cases for support and impact reports that translate ProVeg’s data into visionary narratives that resonate with wealthy philanthropists.

Brief and support the Co-Executive Directors and Trustees for high-level meetings, ensuring they are positioned effectively to close significant gifts.

Maintain accurate and timely records of all donor interactions, communications, and commitments within our HubSpot system, which we use to manage and track our relationship pipelines and fundraising progress.

Collaborate with the Development Manager to maintain our existing T&F relationships, ensuring high-quality grant applications, reporting, and compliance are met.

Travel in and around London and other major cities in the UK to network with potential donors and represent the organisation
Qualifications
Essential:

You bring 3+ years of philanthropy/fundraising experience, ideally within an NGO or a related field.

You possess demonstrable experience in identifying and opening doors to new HNWI prospects rather than just managing an inherited portfolio.

You are a skilled verbal communicator with the ability to lead virtual and in-person meetings with gravitas, communicating ProVeg UKs work with donors and partners in inspiring, creative, and persuasive ways.

You possess excellent written communication skills to write inspiring, persuasive content.

You bring an entrepreneurial mindset, and can think creatively to find new solutions to challenges.
