As Director of Services and Grants, you will be responsible for ensuring that our multi-channel services and grants programme serve and improve the lives of older people, reach those who are most likely to be in poverty, and have the maximum impact. You will help us grow our capacity, build our network of charity and commercial partnerships, develop our external training offer, and reach more people including those groups most likely to experience financial hardship.
Having operated at a senior level, ideally as part of a Senior Leadership Team, you will be an inspiring leader with a demonstrable passion for our cause. Experienced in successfully managing service transformation and development, including in a contact centre environment, you will also have an understanding of grants programmes, and of building strategic partnerships and national networks. With an understanding of demonstrating and reporting on impact, experience of supporting fundraising for services and bidding for contracts, you will ideally also have knowledge of developing an external training offer.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days a week or a 9-day fortnight.

Our charity’s income is currently primarily statutory, and while we are relatively new to fundraising, our voluntary income has quadrupled year on year for the last three years. As Head of Communications, you will build on the promising foundations laid to deliver an exciting chapter in the charity’s development. The role is pivotal in providing highly skilled legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients across London at no cost to the individual. This is particularly important at a time where free or low-cost advice is becoming harder to find.

As Finance & Operations Director (FOD) you will be responsible for the financial stability of the organisation and maintaining appropriate financial management. The Head of Digital Learning (internally known as EdTech Lead) will be a new and pivotal role that will support with the successful implementation of the Digital Academy. This role will sit within the Education and Training Division of Anna Freud but they will entail working closely with senior colleagues from across Anna Freud including the Education and Training Division Leadership team, Closing the Gap Acceleration (CtGA) team and the different Heads of departments. Externally they will liaise with external tech organisations to support procurement of new platforms and they will conduct market research to assess the market, target audience and consumer demand for the various services that might be offered through the Digital Academy.
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, growing and successful team. They will need to be an experienced professional within the field of educational technology, with a good grasp of learning design and virtual learning platforms, as well as experience of commissioning/procuring digital platforms and a demonstrable ability to undertake market research within both home and international markets. An understanding of working in the charity sector and/or within an education and training environment would be helpful. Experience of undertaking projects centered around children, young people and families, mental health or other health-related/science subjects would be welcomed.
Location
Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

Main Roles

Specific Duties
- Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the OISC and / or Solicitors Regulations Authority (SRA) standards and the Advice Quality Standards (AQS).
- Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and practice in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with OISC registration or similar professional body, e.g SRA.

- To maintain accurate and detailed case records of clients for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring, using Advice Pro as appropriate and as required by management.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies.
- Produce reports to meet funder’s and LRMN requirements.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager and/or external evaluator in gathering data and information to produce accurate monitoring and evaluation reports.
- To assist the LRMN in liaising with its partners, funders and to provide statistical information and updates as required.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager in reviewing files and ensure that corrective actions are undertaken.
- Provide regular supervision to Iimmigration volunteers.
- Allocate immigration tasks appropriate volunteers’ knowledge and skills.
- Keep records of supervision meetings with immigration volunteers
Other Duties
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.

Role Overview
As a Part-Time Youth Violence Reduction Youth Worker, you will support the Youth Violence Reduction Lead in managing and developing programs aimed at reducing youth violence. You will play a crucial role in the late-night safe-space sessions, working closely with at-risk young people to provide them with the support and guidance they need.
We are looking to recruit up to three candidates for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Program Management: Assist in managing and developing youth violence reduction programs, ensuring they are delivered effectively and safely.
