In this role, the Volunteer Programme Manager will collaborate with six internal departments as well as our Marketing and Communications team to champion best practices in volunteer management. The role involves overseeing recruitment, training, supporting, and supervising our incredible volunteers, ensuring they feel empowered and valued every step of the way.
We are recruiting a Data and IT Assistant apprentice to capture and measure the impact of PAPYRUS’ services and provide IT support to our team.
What you will do:
• Support the Data Manager to capture, cleanse and present data on PAPYRUS’ activities.
• Provide first line IT support to colleagues and liaise with our third party IT provider where necessary.
• Assist with the setup of equipment for new starters and keeping a log of PAPYRUS issued equipment.
• Manage PAPYRUS CRM systems to maintain data accuracy and ensure good data capture and management practices are followed.
• Prepare and share impact reports with the team.
• Support the wider team with any GDPR or Data Protection queries.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• English and Maths GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
• Previous experience providing dedicated administration support.
• Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality
• Experience of working effectively within a team environment and assisting colleagues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports.

- Manage the operation of SPANA’s PO Box and London mailing points, ensuring all post is compliantly processed, recorded and scanned.
- Manage the SPANA FAQs, standard enquiry responses and thank you letters to be used by the team.

Job Summary:
As Secretary General of the NRA and Chief Executive of the National Shooting Centre Limited, the NRA’s commercial enterprise subsidiary, you will be responsible for leading the management and operations of the organisations, as well as implementing the overall vision for the charity working with the Trustees. - Registered Firearms Dealer / Explosives Licence: Manage the possession and use of firearms, ammunition, and components. The successful candidate will need to meet the application requirements in line with relevant firearms and health and safety legislation, including police background checks and medical assessments.
- Home Office Authorities: Maintain permissions for specialised firearms use.
- Member Director, British Shooting: Represent the NRA in the Olympic and Paralympic Shooting activities.

About the role
Our moderators manage Facebook groups of up to 18,000 virtual challenge participants. You will be working with some of the biggest names in the sector, supporting them to raise five and six figure sums.
This role is perfect for skilled fundraisers who can provide excellent supporter care, and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm and adhere to our sub-three hour response time.
As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you would be responsible for:

Our moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday-Sunday. Different challenges have different requirements and whilst you need to be on hand to monitor the group during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional fundraising experience. They will understand the importance of stewarding relationships and be committed to always acting in the best possible way for the charities we work so hard to support.

Location
The post will be located in the Midlands, working from home. Extensive travel across the Midlands will be an essential part of the role, which may require driving or using public transport.
